A WARM WELCOME
As the portal closed Shia looked around to find any road but she could not as in haste headlady pushed her in forest area and portal was closed . She looked around for a while and after few hours she sat on a rock
few hours later she heard voices coming from the jungle . she chased the voice and saw some tiny creatures singing and dancing holding flambeau in their hands .
She slowly went near a dwarf and whispered . hello! . The dwarf looked back and saw a big girl in white dress wearing golden and blue amulet she was Shia. Shia asked are you going to dwarf's kingdom? may I join you as I am lost . Dwarves looked at her and politely nodded in yes.
Shia felt relieved and she joined dwarfs , surprisingly they all stopped at same place where she was sitting before. Dwarves touched the rock and pushed it and the door appeared , huge! it was a huge door. The dwarves opened it and asked Shia to enter first . As Shia entered flowers showered upon her and some beautiful ladies were standing there to welcome guests for the festival Shia was amused. But as she looked on her dress there were some stains as she was sitting on the rock . She felt little embarrassed about her dress but while she was thinking about her dress a hand came and holded her hands and dragged her towards the city . Shia in shock could not ask why that stranger was dragging her . After running for a while the stranger leaved her hand and revealed herself , she was so pretty had pink ears and cold nose, long black hair and blue eyes. Shia's eyes could not believe that dwarf could be that gorgeous !.
Shia asked who are you ?and why you dragged me here ? . The girl introduced herself as Maya second princess of dwarves kingdom. She told Shia that she has no friends and her cousins were teasing her about not having friends and as she saw Shia she decided to be friends with her. Shia asked and why did you dragged me?
Maya was speechless but she turned her around and showed the entrance of the palace. She asked Shia to attend festival with her as her sister was busy . Shia introduced herself as her village 's representative. she asked Maya if she could show her palace and help her in festival as she was new there and do not know anyone. Maya agreed and took Shia to her room so she could change her dress. Maya asked Shia to sit and wait , she came back in no time with three ladies holding food , clothes, and jewelry. Shia stood and asked what was she doing, Maya looked at her and smiled she told Shia as we are friends we are going to wear matching clothes . Shia smiled and she accepted those gifts. After few hours she came and was looking beautiful. long hair, brown eyes , dressed in a long red outfit with gold jewelry her pale white skin was shining . When Maya saw her she was stunned and suddenly said that's what called human's beauty. She asked Shia to have a meal with her after that she will give her tour of palace.
Shia was feeling tired but she forgot her fatigue after seeing Maya's excitement.
She ate her food and both of them left for palace tour.
while they were walking Maya collided with someone. Oh! are you okay? Maya . She was Vida, one of her cousins .
Vidaaa!!, you almost ripped my dress Maya shouted but in her mind not outside.
Maya did not responded and took Shia with her to the garden where she told Shia about stories of her ancestors and a little about Hyena flower. Shia wanted to dig in more about Hyena flower but she retreated. Shia asked when will festival start Maya said tomorrow in morning festival will start with all representatives and dwarfs.
Maya's family does not used to focused on her but she had title of privileged girl as she got everything that someone could only imagine , from looks to brain and her lifestyle. people use to ignore her because of her dangerous powers . She caused an accident while making an enchanted portion and people got hurt because of that from that day everyone started ignoring her. which gave reasons to her cousins to tease her. Although she was close to her sister Rain but her sister was busy in state affairs.
Maya asked Shia if she would like to visit library with her. She and Shia headed towards library .
The library was filled with thousands of books and artifacts. Shia asked Maya if she could teach her about medicine .Maya said well I am not sure if I can teach you or not, but I will try to help you as much as I can . Both of them picked books for themselves
Maya helped Shia to understand basics. both came back after a while to Maya's room . Maya and Shia fell asleep. At night due to loud drum beats they woke up .Maya told Shia that a ritual will be performed before the festival , so they should get ready. She ordered some workers to prepare room for Shia . Maya was wearing a Blue dress and Shia wore a white and golden dress with her blue necklace. both entered the ritual place and Shia asked Maya to guide her in ritual process .
While Maya and Shia both were talking , Vida and her sisters entered they saw someone standing with Maya. They came closer to Maya and asked who was standing with her. Shia went to talk to Rain . Rain and Shia was talking about the kingdom and Maya when Shia noticed Maya's cousins. Shia came near Maya while her cousins were teasing her . Maya could kill all of them but she holded herself as she did not wanted any problem in her sister's crowning. Maya's cousins saw Shia and was about to tease her but as they moved towards her they noticed Rain standing behind Shia. Rain's presence was enough to give chills to someone's spine. Vida greeted her and left them. Shia smiled at her because even she felt her cold aura.
Rain, Maya and Shia performed ritual together and wished upon holy fire for their lives.
