Town of Beginnings

After killing some boars and collecting the gold Kirito and Klein didn't seem physically exhausted only mentally when Kirito says, "I think we should return to the Town of Beginners and log out for today."

"You are right. But before I do that I should meet my friends," says Klein when suddenly both disappeared in front of Nesiara and John as if they were never there.

"What happened?" asks Nesiara as she never played a game before.

"They must have been forcefully summoned by someone or something," says John as he looks into the air and asks, "Justice, can you find them for us?"

"They are the road down. Don't know what is down there since you weren't there before," says Justice as he materializes in front of them.

"We should join them maybe they are in danger," says Nesiara worried since normal if someone is forcefully summoned it isn't something good.

They moved down the road and arrived at the gates of a town and John says, "Maybe its the Town of Beginnings the two were talking about."

They enter as they walked and found their way towards the plaza thanks to a guard that told them about where everyone was. Once in the plaza, they see the number of people standing as they looked into the air like Klein did before as they were trying to touch the air but nothing happened and people suddenly became enraged as the called for some GM and saying the Log Out function must be malfunctioning.

Then suddenly the sky had a window in it. The people in the plaza could see it while the people working didn't see it including John and Nesiara. They didn't even hear anything until people began to complain towards the sky and Nesiara asks, "Did they all go crazy?"

"I don't think so," says John as he was observing everything closely when he continues, "There must be something in the sky that we and the other people working can't see."

It went on when suddenly everyone was surrounded by light and their appearance changed some didn't look as they did before and some even changed gender and Nesiara asks, "What magic is that?"

"That's no magic but I think that's their real appearance. They were just their avatar some seconds ago. In a game you can create your own body as you want and even change gender. Women are normally taken good care of that's why many men make female avatars and try to spoon off from people that think that they are real women behind the avatar," says John explaining what maybe happened.

"What about our two friends?" asks Nesiara as she was looking around for them.

[They are quite separated and in the middle of everything. Maybe you two should wait until everything clears up,] says Justice as he was mapping the world by hacking into the system.

"You heard Justice let's play normal until this mob dissolves," says John as he leaves the plaza to not draw too much attention as Nesiara follows.

"We should hatch our eggs now that we have to wait," says Nesiara as she takes her egg out and puts her finger against the tip of her spear then she drops blood onto the egg and it begins to shine before it moves and the animal inside breaks free as it was a turtle with a snake around it. She picks the little guy up and pets them while saying, "Aren't you a cute one."

John takes his egg out and cuts into his finger with Yamato and drops some blood onto the egg making it shine for a moment before a blue snake came out of it. John wanted to pick it up when it curled around his arm and it began to sleep in that position. John petted its head before saying, "It seems mine likes to sleep."

Then both began to shine and a tattoo appeared on their arm as Nesiara now had the turtle with the snake on her underarm while John had the blue snake on his.

"What's going on?" asks John not knowing what was happening.

[They aren't normal mystical beast like the ones Logan raised before and you have. Those were beast that Shura raised the father of Jack and Logan. They have many hidden abilities that even Jack and Logan don't know of. This must be one of those abilities,] says Justice as he explained it to them before they see the mob being somehow heartbroken not believing what was happening when Justice says, [Kirito and Klein are moving. They must be in the back alley the second on the right.]

They begin to move and find the two Kirito didn't change much as he still looked young only his hairstyle was different while Klein had now short spiky hair and looked a bit older with the slight beard on his cheeks and chin.

"It seems we found you," says Nesiara as she surprised both. They didn't expect John and Nesiara to be there as she says, "Oh come on don't be so surprised. When you disappeared out of nowhere we got worried since nothing good can come out of it."

"So what happened?" asks John as he could see Kirito's and Klein's faces that were in disbelief and worried at the same time.

"You didn't see it?" asks Klein as both shake their head and Klein continues, "It seems we can't leave the world until the game is cleared. We are trapped here until then."

"Welcome to our world," says John as both were surprised by what John said while Nesiara hit him in the side with her elbow.

"I didn't know you were a comedian," says Nesiara as she then turns to the two and asks, "What happened afterward?"

"The creator of the game wants his game to be finished and not be forgotten like other games before they were finished because the people felt bored. He also said that if we die here we also die outside," says Klein still in disbelief of everything when he hears something and played with the air and says, "I need to leave my friend are confused and in disbelief like everyone else. Kirito let's be friends this way I can be sure that you are alive even if you don't want to join me and my friends."

The Kirito played with air and Klein was happy that Kirito accepted his friend request as he then looks at the two and says, "What are you two going to do?"

"Hunt a bit and enjoy our time," says Nesiara with a smile.

"Before trying to move up a floor. We still don't know how that works," says John as he looked at Klein and Kirito who looked a little worried.

"Aren't you scared to die fighting a boss?" asks Klein as he was worried.

"We fought worse things than a boss, trust me," says John as Nesiara was nodding in agreement.

"If you really want to enter the next floor you need to kill the Boss of the floor and so on. There will be an announcement when the boss is defeated even when I think that you won't see the announcement even when you kill it," says Kirito as he began to explain it to them before he says, "I will be leaving now. I hope you all fare well."

"You too," says Klein as he sees Kirito leave and Klein looked at John and Nesiara and asks, "Do you want to join my group of friends?"

"Sorry Klein but we will be going into dangerous territory and if what you said about if you die here you die outside," says John as he sighs and continues, "I can't have that on my hands or hers. How about we keep in connection as long as you keep our secret."

"Wow the first time to you bend your rules," says Nesiara as she looked at the surprised Klein.

"We are World Travelers that's why we can bleed and don't have a system as you have but we have him," says John as he stretches his hand out and Justice appears.

"Hello, my name is Justice. Nice to meet you," says Justice as Klein fell over and Nesiara helped him up.

"Now that was quite the reaction to Justice. He is a Ghost. He is our travel companion and our personal backpack," says Nesiara as she smiled and explained what Justice was before Justice registered Klein as a level one User making him able to communicate with him as John and Nesiara do mentally.

After some tries, he got a hang on it and John says, "Now keep this little secret between us three alright. We don't need the maker of this game to know that three bugs are running around his game until we defeat the first boss."

"Alright," says Klein as he still hasn't processed the whole thing when John and Nesiara begin to move and Klein says, "Until the next time we meet."

"Until next time Klein," says Nesiara while John only waves and both leave as fast as they appeared in the city. Once outside Nesiara asks, "What do we do now?"

"Move as far away from this city as possible. If its like other games than many new players will begin to grind around here and with these little resources it will be difficult. Kirito is a Beta Tester he should have known the best hunting grounds but we have Justice for that," says John as Justice told them where to find the strongest mobs around.

"So we going to fight against said monsters?" asks Nesiara full of energy as killing monsters was gaining money for them.

"I hope so," says a familiar voice as they turned and saw Jack standing behind them.

"What are you doing here?" asks Nesiara curious to find out.

"Just taking care of the children that got dragged into this. They shouldn't be here and will need a place to stay," says Jack as he had a smile and continues, "That's where I jump in. I will be taking care of them. It shouldn't be as hard as to raise your father and his siblings but someone has to do so when most of the people begin to ignore them because they can't do anything in this survival game."

"You will be where exactly?" asks John as Jack smiles while pointing back into the city.

"There is a church that will take care of them. I will be living there from now on until the game is over. You can visit once in a while if you want to I will always welcome you both now then its time for you two to leave," says Jack as he pushes the two outside the town while walking back into the city to collect the children and people that can't fight to help him take care of the children.

"Do you think he will be alright?" asks Nesiara as she and John walked on the road towards their destination.

"I would be more worried about the children. He raised six monsters that could destroy everything on their path. I don't want to know what those kids will have to endure while being under his wings," says John as he looked worried about the children.
