The Shiba Clan
The next day Ichigo and the others returned ready to rescue Rukia as they were in the training ground and John asks, "Did your father give you something that could help?"
"He gave me this letter it should help us if we are lucky and the head is still Kaien Shiba. It's been long since he went there. We had a discussion as he told me how he really met my mother. After that, he wrote the letter and told me to be careful since the Gotei 13 is no place for children. He even wrote another letter for his former Lieutenant named Matsumoto. If we see her we should give our regards to the 10th Division," says Ichigo as he was holding both letters in his hand showing them to the group.
"With them, we can even make a better plan if we need to improvise. But first," says John when Urahara hits Ichigo with his stick pushing his Soul out of his body while John says, "You won't need your body there not like the others. We shall move in the next minutes except anyone has anything to say."
They were all ready when Urahara says, "You all should be careful and hear to what those three tell you. They are far stronger than they make you believe," says Urahara to Ichigo and his friends when he then turns to the three and says, "Can you two keep an eye on those four and you just keep an eye out for everyone. I will await you all safe and sound back here."
Then Urahara opens a portal and says, "You need to pass the Dangai to arrive at Soul Society. Never stop and keep running or you will be taken care of by its keeper."
They enter and begin moving as they enter the Garganta and run to the other while John asks, "Why is it so dark in here. Maybe I should have scouted ahead to just make a portal with Yamato."
"Just keep moving we don't want to meet a Kokotsu nor a Koryu so keep moving," says Yoruichi as they suddenly hear something making its way towards them and she says, "Here it comes."
"Maybe we should use Kaioken and carry the others we will be faster," says Nesiara as Yoruichi nods. Nesiara picked Sado up while John was slowly getting suspicious about her behavior when it came to Sado as he picked Ichigo and Uryu over his shoulder while Yoruichi carried Orihime.
They began to radiate a red aura as the became faster as they rushed to reach the opposite end of the Dangai. They saw a light at the end of the Dangai as the noise behind them disappeared.
They pass through the light and find themselves in front of the city gates when Yoruichi says, "Welcome in Seireitei or better said the gates of the city. If we want to enter we will need to pass it gatekeeper but before that, we should meet with the Shiba Clan."
They put the people down as Yoruichi led the way to the Shiba Clan house. Almost arriving there they encounter a man with black hair wearing a green bandana on his head who says, "Shinigami aren't well seen around here."
"Ganju stop now I'm here to see your sister," says Yoruichi as she stood in front of Ichigo.
"Then you should have known not to bring a Shinigami here. We only tolerated you because you aren't one any longer but he just by looking at him I get sick," says Ganju as he was blocking their path when suddenly a woman hit his backhead.
She was one-armed had black long and messy hair with green eyes. She looks at Yoruichi as she asks, "Why are you here Yoruichi?"
"My friend here needs help to enter Seireitei. We didn't want to take the direct route as that would draw too much attention. We want to rescue a friend that is held captive inside the city," says Yoruichi as the woman looks at Yoruichi seriously.
"And why should I help?" asks the woman seriously.
"Because his father is also a Shiba branch member. Do you still remember Isshin Shiba?" asks Yoruichi as the woman opens her eyes in surprise.
"I thought he died outside fighting against Hollows. So he is a Shiba too," says the woman as she pointed at Ichigo.
"My name is Ichigo Kurosaki. My father took the name of my mother when he left Soul Society behind when he was betrayed by someone. He still doesn't know who it was but he doesn't really want to return until he knows who it was that tried to kill him," says Ichigo as he takes a letter out and says, "I have this letter for the Head who should be Kaien Shiba right."
The woman had a sad look on her face as the man beside her and she says, "He would be if he were still alive. He and his wife aren't any longer. We don't know how exactly they died because they won't tell us about it either when we asked that's why we normally don't deal with Shinigamis any longer. But we should enter before we keep talking."
She enters the house followed by Ganju and the others as she says, "My name is Kukaku Shiba the Head of the Shiba Clan former Noble Family of the Soul Society. I will help you as much as we can but we will need someone that will draw all the attention onto him so we can bring you inside."
"I will take care of that. It will help me get something out of my head," says John as he was overthinking the whole Nesiara and Sado business he saw earlier and this would help him get it out of his head.
"Good then let's plan the whole thing. We will need you to attack in the afternoon before we start with the Fireworks start. Once the Fireworks start it will be the best camouflage to get the others over the wall to enter Seireitei," says Kukaku informing them.
"And how will you get us over the wall?" asks Nesiara as everyone wanted to know that when Kukaku only smiles.
"We are using the Shiba Cannon. It's big enough to send you all over at the same time. Ganju will go with you," says Kukaku as Ganju was looking at her in disbelief.
"I'm going too?" asks Ganju.
"Yes, you will go with them. You will have to find each other once on the other side except you can fly," says Kukaku as Yoruichi and Nesiara begin too laugh as she looked confused when John begins to float in the air followed by Yoruichi and Nesiara.
"We three can fly quite good. But let's put that aside for now. You know our objective. I will begin to stir up some chaos in front of the gates and break my way in. It might be fun to do so," says John as he leaves after swinging Yamato and walking through the portal he created.
After John left did Yoruichi remind the group again not to enter certain areas in the Shinigami compound as she says, "If we get separated I and Nesiara will try to find you as fast as possible to regroup. John can take care of himself so we will only have to concentrate on rescuing Rukia."
Everyone nods while Ganju was talking with his older sister, "Why do I have to go with them?"
"It might change the way you see Shinigamis. You only see them as evil but your brother and sister-in-law were Shinigamis and Isshin was quite successful as he was 10th Division Captain before he disappeared and we were told he died," says Kukaku as she was walking deeper into the house when both her bodyguards appear and Kukaku says, "Also from the story, the boy told us our brother wasn't the only one targeted by a Shinigami. It seems Isshin escaped the Shinigami by staying with the Living. I want you to find some clues while you are there who it could be that targeted our Clan and brought it to its downfall."
"I will do what I can," says Ganju as they arrived at the cannon and the bodyguards were preparing it to be used in the next moment.
They were all waiting until it was afternoon when John finally attacked the gates taking care of the Gatekeeper quite fast without killing him as he walked into the city when someone stopped him.
John evaded the attack and looks at a man that had his eyes narrowed to slits with silver hair as John says, "A worthy opponent. I really would like to fight you seriously."
Then his armor appears on his body with his swords and continues, "But I have many things to do."
Then his Ki and Reiatsu spiked up as he took Yamato in his hand and continues, "So either you can follow me or get out of my way if you don't want to die."
John was ready to engage as the silver-haired man attacked again thinking that John was a Bambi with him being young. The man disappeared and appeared again behind John.
He then turns around only to find John still intact without a scratch as John looks at him and says, "That Gin Ichimaru would have worked against Ichigo. But against me, you might want to take it to a higher level. Not even the Thunder God can keep up with me."
John disappears and appears behind the shocked Gin who asks, "Who are you?"
"The future version of my friends call me Lord Thunder," says John as he was holding his sword against Gin's back and says, "But you can call me Thunder King. That's a fitting nickname for me."
John then takes the sword away from Gin's back and says, "But I have other plans. I need you to leave with Aizen and betray the Gotei 13 but dead you are no help to me. I know that you are just a double agent and I will keep your secret but for that I want you to do me a favor."
"And that would be?" asks Gin trying to stay calm as John was revealing everything about him.
"I want you to inform the other Captains that people entered the Shinigami compound and are searching for the prisoner. You know which one so don't play dumb," says John as Gin didn't know what John really wanted.
"I will make a little ruckus around here and a bit further inside. I want Matsumoto to meet with my friends. She formerly was the Lieutenant of Isshin Shiba if I'm correct and Isshin's son is her to get Rukia. With her help, they should be able to save her before she is put to be executioner's block and you could leave with Aizen and the others without much suspicion after extracting the Hogyoku out of her body. I will deal with the aftermath," says John as he then begins to walk away from Gin.
