The Heartless disappeared for now after the trio killed the Knight Armor Heartless letting the group breathe for a bit. The trio walked over to the group and find John and Nesiara near some craters that weren't there before.

"Did something happen while we were fighting the Knight Armor?" asks Sora worried when Leon wanted to tell them but John intervened.

"No, we just went a bit too hard on the Heartless and broke the floor," says John as Sora and the other two believed him right away.

"Anyway, what are you going to do now, Sora?" asks Nesiara with a smile on her face.

"Well, I need to look for Riku and Kairi. If I am here then they might be somewhere out there as well," says Sora when he suddenly realized that he had no way to leave Traverse Town.

This made him hang his head when John says, "Donald and Goofy, what was your mission again?"

"It was to find the 'Key' and bring it to King Mickey," says Donald when he realized something.

"But the King disappeared," says Goofy as John nods.

"How about you join forces and search for them together," says John suggesting that they travel together when Jack appears out of nowhere.

This made the group point their weapons at him while John tried to tackle him to the ground when he turned into black smoke making John phase through him.

"The Crownguard Family, it is always nice to meet you two, John and Nesiara," says Jack on purpose when Sora looked like he heard that family name before while the group was surprised to hear that name.

"Crownguard? Crownguard... right Kairi's family name is Crownguard," says Sora as John and Nesiara turned to Sora before looking at Jack.

"You brought our son to this Universe," says Nesiara as Faith appeared in her hand and the tip grew larger as it was almost at Jack's neck.

"Yes, I brought him here. But he is out there searching for his last descendant and a way to bring all of his friends back," says Jack as John brought out Judgement and placed it behind Jack's neck.

"How long did he live in this Universe?" asks John serious not realizing that Jack stopped time around the three of them after Sora mentioned that Kairi was a Crownguard.

"He was there before the First World crashed. He is hard to kill since he is your son. He survived two Keyblade Wars and is considered a wanted man if we go by the word of the Yen Sid since he can use Darkness to his advantage.

The poor old fool doesn't even know that the perfect Keyblade Master has to be able to control both Light and Darkness in Harmony like the Master of Masters and Leon can," says Jack as he phased through Faith.

"He lived longer than our whole family together going by what you just said," says Nesiara as she dropped Faith out of shock from the realization that her son had to suffer such a long time alone.

"What about Kairi, is she our granddaughter?" asks Nesiara worried as Jack shakes his head.

"No, she is a descendant of yours. Leon's wife and children are long gone. The only remains that exist of the Crownguard Family in this Universe are Kairi and Leon. The others were either killed by the enemy or by Leon himself as they succumbed to the Darkness," says Jack stating the brutal truth about what Leon did to make sure that his family stayed safe.

"Kairi is the only one left or at least that is what he thinks," says Jack as he wanted to give them something as a recompensation for taking their son away from them.

"Who is it?" asks John as he was imagining the worst at the moment.

"His other descendant succumbed to Darkness and more I won't say or he might try to kill that descendant. Just think about a Keyblade Master that succumbed to Darkness and got possessed and you should know who I am talking about," says Jack as that was enough to let them know who the person is.

"I need to leave now and just play it off as if I have defeated you," says Jack as he disappeared after pushing John away.

"What happened?" asks Sora confused as Jack disappeared as fast as he appeared while John was laying against the wall while Faith was on the ground instead of Nesiara's hands.

"It seems, he defeated us again," says John lying about what happened.

"You have a lot to explain," says Leon as he looked seriously because now was the first time the couple's Family Name was mentioned.

"How about we go to the hideout first?" asks John as Leon nods.

He opened the door and they entered the hideout which was just a one-room apartment. They sit or lean against a wall when John and Nesiara explain that one of their children was kidnapped after his birth.

"So those Godkings are that powerful," says Leon after hearing their story.

"We might have downgraded their power in the story we told you. But yes, they just need to snap their fingers and everything is gone if they wanted it," says John as they all had worried faces on.

"Don't worry they have never done it yet and what got your world was Darkness and not the Godking. We can still get them back," says Nesiara giving them hope.

"Then that means that Kairi is part of your family?" asks Sora as Nesiara nods.

"It seems that we will be joining your adventure through this Universe to find Kairi," says Nesiara as she looked at Sora while knowing that Kairi's heart is inside Sora.

"But before we do that we will need a ship big enough for all of us," says John looking at Donald and Goofy.

"Our Gummi Ship can only carry three people," says Donald informing John and Nesiara as John turned to Cid.

"Cid, you create Gummi Ships parts, right?" asks John as Cid nods.

"Of course, I have everything you might want," says Cid as John turned to Donald and stretches his hand out to him.

"I need the key of the Gummi Ship. I will make some modifications so it can carry at least ten persons," says John as he was preparing for the worst.

"Alright," says Donald as he lifts his hand to Goofy who gives him the key of the Gummi Ship before Donald gave it to John.

"In the meantime John modifies the Gummi Ship, you should meet a friend of ours. He is a Great Mage and could teach you some useful magic, Sora," says Leon as he informed them about Merlin.

"He lives behind a door that has a flame on. You need to use a Fire Spell against it to unlock the door," says Leon as he explained that they had to jump from platform to platform after passing the door.

"I will join them. John doesn't need my help in modifying the Gummi Ship," says Nesiara as John nods in agreement since Jack wouldn't lie about what he said and Kairi was part of their family making Sora their priority.

"Then let us go, I really want to meet this Merlin," says Sora excited while Donald sighs and Goofy laughs.

The four then leave the hideout when John turned to Leon and says, "Now about my family branch in your world. What did happen to them?"

"They were the first to be overrun by the Heartless since they were the nearest to the Castle. I don't know how she survived but she was lucky. Many of us died or are in another world," says Leon as John sighs.

"Well we can't change the past, but the future is still not written so let us look forward toward it. Cid, I will need your help," says John as Cid nods and they leave together.

Nesiara and the trio arrived at the door and Donald used Fire against it making the Flame Emblem on it brighten up as it unlocks the door.

They pass through and find themselves in a cave with a lake in it and an island in the middle of it with a house on top of it. They jump from platform to platform and arrived at the island when they looked for the entrance to the house.

Sora knocks on the door but no one answers and says, "It seems no one is here."

"How about we enter and make sure that Merlin is alright," says Nesiara as she hinted that Heartless could have attacked him.

They draw their weapons just to be sure no Heartless wouldn't attack them by surprise only to find a dark room. Nesiara knew that Merlin would appear at any moment but the others wanted to leave to not disturb the place.

Suddenly, the lights turned on, and out of nowhere an old man with a long white beard in a long blue tunic that goes to his ankles and a floppy blue hat appear in the room.

"Oh, I didn't await guests this early let me clean and decorated the house real quick," says Merlin as he placed the bag, he was carrying on the ground and opened it while bringing out his wand which he keeps in his long sleeve.

He begins to use magic and slowly items begin to leave his bag and entered the room decorating the room with all the necessary objects that someone needs.

"Now, who do we have here?" asks Merlin as Sora presented the four to him.

"It seems your friend is already a powerful mage," says Merlin as Nesiara smiles.

"Guilty, but we didn't come here for me but for Sora, he needs to learn some magic before we depart from Traverse Town," says Nesiara as Merlin looked at Sora seriously before smiling at him.

"He is a pure-hearted boy. I will teach him gladly as he reminds me of Arthur," says Merlin as he immediately began Sora's magic training.

In the meantime, John and Cid were working together when Cid asks, "So you helped my other self achieve his dream?"

"Yes, I helped him and his wife by building together a rocket that was way too advanced for their technology standards. They should be on Leon's planet right now helping him out," says John as he was connecting the new Holy Engines with the Flare Engines to the system.

"Maybe you can help me too, in the future," says Cid as John smiled while Cid was connecting the Ultima Cannons with the Thundaga Cannons.

"Always, for a friend," says John as he activated the system.

"Well, this baby won't be shoot down by anything with all the shields it has and no ship will be able to face it. But you still need to be careful of Monstro. He will eat you regardless of how much power you," says Cid warning John who nods.

"I will keep that in mind," says John as both gave it one last check-up before returning to the hideout.
