The Three Paraphernalia's

Jackie smiled, Lilliane smiled too, “Well, to complete the task, you must gather the Three Seraphic Paraphernalia’s. Each one is from a different time period. One from the past, one from the present, and one from the future. Explaining it will be too difficult, just follow this.” She picked up a piece of paper from thin air and threw it into the air, Stella caught it and folded it up neatly. “It tells you all you need to know, just-“ At that moment, Jackie whispered, “one… two… THREE!” _________________________________________________ Cover Art from PeakPx content creator.

The Flood

Kaitlin followed the water sphere and after running quite a bit, she reached her school.

Well this is weird, why would Stella come here, she thought to herself.

She walked towards the main stairs and thought that she would go upstairs but then realized that the water ball had turned a sharp corner and drifted towards the back door into the back courtyard. Kaitlin was surprised and hurriedly followed.

She ran out the back door and looked around, she spotted the water ball about 20 feet away from her, gaining speed towards the outdoor pool. Kaitlin's frown deepened and she sprinted towards the pool, suddenly the ball disappeared signaling that Stella had been found.

She neared the pool and saw that Stella had changed into a mermaid and was swimming around and around in circles causing a whirlpool.

Kaitlin sighed and called out loudly, "STELLA! CALM DOWN!"

Stella slowed down slightly but ignored her mostly.

Kaitlin frowned and dove into the pool changing into a mermaid.

Her silky chocolate hair was intertwined with rose's and an amethyst encrusted tiara. She was wearing a lavender mermaid top with a matching tail set with glittering jewels. She chased after Stella as Stella swam swiftly away.

The pool was big enough for both of them to swim at top speed.

"SLOW DOWN!" Kaitlin cried at the top of her lungs, propelling herself forward with her tail as she swam as fast as possible. She saw Stella smirk slightly way ahead of her and she laughed too. They raced each other for a while until they were both very tired, then they swam to the shallow area and raised themselves up until they were sitting on the ledge.

"That was fun," panted Stella, ringing her hair out.

"Yea it was." Replied, raising her tail and slammed it back into the pool with impeccable force causing a giant splash that drenched them both with water again.

Stella gasped as the water hit her, wetting her finally dried hair.

She turned so that she was facing Kaitlin and using her magic, she caused a tidal wave to crash into Kaitlin knocking her backwards. Stella laughed as Kaitlin sat up, water streaming from her hair and clothes glaring.

"You want to play that game?" asked Kaitlin, she slipped into the water and onto the other side in the blink of an eye. "You do know that my magic is way stronger don't you?"

She smirked, then brushing her hair out of her face, she waved her arms above the water's surface while her fingers danced. Ripples started forming on the water growing stronger and stronger as something rose to the surface.

The pool water bubbled and a minute later, a train of rolling waves erupted from nowhere as the pool obviously could not have been able to hold that much water. The crest of the waves all aiming for Stella tossed her into the air, back and forth.

Continuously surging forward, the never ending waves spread across the ground, seeping into the school and flooding it entirely.

Kaitlin froze, even though she had learned how to cause these waves to occur, she had not been taught how to stop them. She waved her arms and a high platform of water appeared raising her above the treacherous waves.

"Help!" Kaitlin turned wildly around and spotted Stella still in the waves drowning slowly. Even though she was a mermaid, these waves were too strong for her to swim away from, since she was not as powerful as the royal mermaids such as Kaitlin.

Kaitlin swung her arms around and pointing at Stella, caused a strong jet of water to grab Stella like a gigantic hand and set her on the platform with herself. Once accomplishing the task, the jet of water sank back beneath the rushing waves.

Stella was panting hard, gasping for breath she managed to utter "Thanks".

Kaitlin was unable to reply as she was scared to death since she had no idea how to stop the water from coming and end up flooding the whole planet. She shuddered at that idea and gasped.

"Hey, I think I can try to use my inner royal power to wash out the water," Kaitlin exclaimed.

Stella coughed up more water and raised her head to stare at Kaitlin, "No, you can't do that, the last time you did it you nearly lost it all. You don't know how to control it, it's too dangerous."

Kaitlin looked away from Stella and looked at the water that was streaming into the places around the school, flooding them with water. "Then what do we do?"

"I'll cast a containment charm to keep it here first," Stella muttered.

"Okay fine," Kaitlin sighed; she brushed her hair back and looked at the school. The water was seeping under the double doors in front of the school.

Stella raised her left palm and with her right hand, she waved it at the magic ocean water. Then she spun slowly in a circle so that she was able to put the barrier for the water on all sides. A wave of magic spread out from her palm, Kaitlin felt it and shivered as it was like passing through cold water.

Once Stella had spun in a full circle, she flourished both hands up, and then she let them drop for the containment spell was complete. They were able to see a dim glow of yellow light where the spell was cast. The water was still spreading out but not as much as before, it stopped in a mile radius around the school.

Kaitlin and Stella both jumped as they heard a breaking sound and turning towards the front of the school, they were able to see that the water had pushed past the double doors, the wood floated on top of the crushing waves as it rushed inside the school.

Filled with fear, Kaitlin crouched down and froze the platform of water that they were standing on into unmeltable magic ice. Then she brought both her hands onto the top of the ice and started dragging her hands upwards with much force, and beneath Kaitlin's hands, the ice platform grew taller.

A once 4 feet high water platform changed into a 15 feet high ice platform with Kaitlin's doing.

"Kaitlin, look!" screamed Stella, she was pointing to the windows on the first and seconds floors of the school. The water level had almost reached the seconds floor and gigantic waves were crashing at the windows of the second floor.

The first floor and second floor windows' fragments were washed into the water. Bits of the wall were eroding away. Kaitlin shouted something to Stella but her voice was drowned out by the deafening sound of the treacherous water. They could barely hear the splintering and breaking of the wood and other materials in the school as the waves crashed into the walls and staircases inside.

Stella and Kaitlin turned to look at each other, then at the school in horror as it leaned slightly to one side, slowly but surely, collapsing.
