The Terrible Twins

Rune's POV

It all started one night, Belle needed help with her math homework. She yelled for our mom, Annabeth. Our mom came down the stairs. " I need help with my homework." Mom sighed. She explained it to Belle but she still didn't get it. I tried to help her too but she was still confused. " You're just like mom," I told her I knew that. She got tired of trying to solve it so she called dad, which was a big mistake.

After she called dad, he came running down the stairs. I whispered to her," You really shouldn't have done that." I looked at mom. " What is it?" Belle exclaimed," I can't solve this math problem." He looked at it for a second before saying," Easy the answer is three." I gave mom the look that said, ' Please do something.' Mom popped her knuckles and smiled evilly. Belle cursed in ancient Greek, knowing what was going to happen next. I knew what was about to happen too. " Can I record this?" Mom said," It's an order." Dad stared at mom. He saw the look on mom's face and mouthed,' Oh no.'

Mom's smile turned into a smirk. I quickly turned on the camera and said," 1..2..3..Action!" Dad slowly backed away, trying to escape but sadly he couldn't. His back hit the wall. Belle was wide-eyed - silently praying that dad would be ok after this. " Rune can you go and get the matches sweetheart?' All of our eyes went wide, even dad's. Mom was the only one who wasn't shocked. I slowly nodded and walked to where they were. Why can't we have a family who doesn't try to kill each other?

When I got to the living room, I saw Belle on the edge of tears. Mom had judo flipped dad. She saw me and said," Good the matches." Belle glared at me when I slowly gave her the matches. " Thank you, sweetheart. " Belle whimpered as she said," Please don't hurt dad." Mom judo flipped dad again. " He groaned in pain. I held back my own tears, My voice stood strong," Mom stop judo flipping dad." She did it again. It all made sense, every time we talk she would judo flip him.

I motioned to Belle to turn invisible. The gods and goddesses gave us powers when we were little, we just haven't found out what all of them are. Belle didn't get what I saw motioning her to do so she said," What?" Mom flipped dad once again. Her mouth shaped an Oh. Belle tried to stop mom but she pushed Belle away and said," Don't ever do that again. Understood?" All Belle could do was nod.

Belle said, not thinking," I got to go to bed. Bye-bye!" She then, as mom was about to flip dad, turned invisible. Belle stopped mom and pushed her away from dad. " Percy she's in the room! Get her!" They counted to three and they both jumped. Belle came over to me and gave me a thumbs up. Mom and dad both jumped which wasn't a really good idea. Dad fell on top of mom.

" Percy!!" I yelled energetically," No! No! No! Stick to the script! You're supposed to catch Belle! Not fall on each other! " " It's not my fault! Do you think I wanted this to happen?! " " Get off of me!" Belle silently laughed. Dad whined," But my butt hurts from you flipping me. " I commanded," Get up and do it again!" Mom growled out," If I could get up don't you think I would?!" " Wait. Rune are you recording this?" I drew out," Maybe." " Stop recording this instant!" " Why? Mom said I had too and don't you have to catch Belle?" Mom's eyes widened," Get off of me now!"

I took a step back," Dad get off of mom. Your acting like a heavy baboon while mom is yelling at you." Dad glared at me," I'm just being honest." Mom nodded then said," She's right " I agreed," Yep and in even going to post this on the internet if you don't get up. " They said in unison," No! Don't! " " I won't." I paused when they sighed. " If you get up. " Mom said," If you get don't get off of me -" Dad whined," But my butt still hurts. " Mom said," Get off of me right now or no kisses for a month. " Dad said," But -" He sighs," Ok." Dad tried to get up but I motioned Belle to push him back down. Belle looked like she didn't want to do it so I mouthed," Gently."

She walked over to dad and gave a little push which made him lose his balance - he fell. " Percy!" Dad yelled in agitation," I tried to get up Annabeth but something pushed me down so I lost my balance. " " Belle!" I smirked," You had something to do with this. " I asked," How? I didn't do anything." Dad glared at me," Yes you did. No wonder your sister is my favorite. " I frowned - my heart kind of broke on that," I'm putting this on the internet. " " Rune, don't." I said in a monotone," I am and there's nothing you can do to stop me. "

Belle said, turning visible," Rune." " They want to play like this? Well so can I. " " Rune. Your father didn't mean it. " " To bad. What should I call this video?" Belle chirped," I got an idea." Dad yelled," Your grounded young ladies!" " Excuse me? Belle, I think we need to call someone don't you think?"

Belle said," You mean coach Hedge right?" I mentally faced palmed," Yep. " Dad said in warning," Rune Eli Jackson. Don't you dare." " Oh, I dare." Mom tried to shove dad off of her," Get off of me so I can comfort our daughter!" Mom rolled over so she was facing dad. She pushed him so hard that he fell off of her.

Mom hugged me," Rune I -" I got out my phone and pressed the call button- dad's face dropped. I said, through the phone," Coach Hedge?" " Hello, Rune. What is it that you need?" I sighed. Belle took the phone," Coach Hedge? It's me, Belle. " She paused," Yes it happened again."

Belle passed the phone back to me," Yes?" I heard Coach Hedge say," Rune is it true?" I said, softly," Yes." He sighed, grabbing something big," I'll be there in five minutes. " He hung up. I told Belle," He'll be here soon." Dad was now off the ground. He came up to me," Rune I didn't mean to say that." I glared at him saying," Too late."

Dad tried to say something but mom stopped him," Stop. Give her some time Percy." He glanced sadly at me before nodding. The door burst open, leaving Coach Hedge in the doorway," I got a call from two little girls. You wanna know what they told me? " He paused," They told me that you two were acting like idiots. You two are grounded. " Mom put a hand on her hip," Excuse me?" This reminds me of earlier. Coach Hedge glared at mom," Coach Hedge? We'll be in our room if you need us." He said softly," Ok Sweethearts. Don't do anything bad." Oh, trust me we'll be terrible twins.
