The Gathering of Adventurers

High Lord Mayor Barry Green stood tall, his imposing figure and powerful aura commanding the attention of the gathered adventurers. Despite his reassuring smile, his eyes betrayed a hint of concern.

"Adventurers, we gather here today to face a grave threat. The blue trolls have gathered in unprecedented numbers, and we must act swiftly to protect our city."

Kai and Zach stood among the crowd, their eyes scanning the assembled adventurers. There were only about 50 of them, mostly D-rank adventurers. Kai and Zach, as C-rank adventurers, stood out among the crowd. And then there was the lone B-rank adventurer, a muscular man with a confident grin.

"Don't worry, we will emerge victorious," High Lord Mayor Barry Green declared, his voice booming across the courtyard. "And to ensure our success, I will send my four personal bodyguards to aid us in this battle."

The bodyguards, imposing figures with auras rivaling that of the High Lord Mayor, stepped forward. The adventurers nodded, a mix of determination and fear etched on their faces.

"We will not falter," High Lord Mayor Barry Green said, his eyes gleaming with resolve. "We will protect our city, no matter the cost."

The gathering dispersed, adventurers murmuring among themselves as they prepared for the battle ahead. Kai and Zach exchanged a glance, their hearts pounding with anticipation.

This was it. This was their chance to prove themselves, to protect the city and its inhabitants. And with the High Lord Mayor's bodyguards on their side, they might just stand a chance against the overwhelming odds.
