From rumors and tales Dan knew that abilities can be very different. And once someone awakened, information about some aspect of the ability would appear in their minds.

But he never heard of a meditation technique as an ability. Furthermore, what confused him was the mention of bloodlines. What does it mean by 'sincere love to someone from a special bloodline'? Does it mean "Rora?'

' Then Why it appear now? Why it didn't appear when I confessed my love to her?'

Suddenly he felt a surge of something warm spreading throughout in his body. 'What?..'

Next second he found by instinct 'its the meditation technique... so it means….'

He looked at inn and sighed. 'It seems like she can answer some of my questions…'

He looked at his pants and became embarrassed a little. He was turned on with sight of her curvy body being pounded by some other man but he was also sad and angry.

Dan didn't do anything in particular as he spend rest of night dozing off. Soon customers and drunks start leaving the inn. Dan also started packing and after some minutes he was at the the door of inn, he inhaled and entered. Smell of booze with mixture of oil and other unidentifiable smell, assaulted his nose. The tables cleaned and chairs were arranged in their place. Xan was rubbing counter with a rag, probably to clean a stubborn stain, as he looked at Dan.

"Oh. Dan its you. I hope your harvest this time was bountiful."

Dan had strange expression on his face. Xan was behaving like nothing happened. When he thought about that sight again he felt a twitch in his pant.

He shook this thought out of his mind and said "Thanks. Winter in getting near and I herbs are becoming rare outside of city. I hope you fare better than me."

"You bet I am! Today was a delightful day!"

Dan felt his blood gathering in his loin as he intercept his words with his imagination.

"Ah . Good then. I got to go…. Have a good night." Although he was angry at him he couldn't bring himself to talk about it and decided it was better to check with Aurora first.

He found himself at the front of their room's door, hesitating. 'What should I say? 'I kinda turned on by your sex with innkeeper?' or just become angry and yell and accuse her? Ah shit. I can't even bring myself to be really angry at her….'

At this moment the door opened and Aurora in her plain tunic came to his sight. She was beautiful with her now silver-blue hairs and her jiggling bosom even in her plain clothing.

When Dan heard her sweet voice every thought that would make her sad perished from his mind. He inhaled and entered.

Upon entering he hugged her tightly as if he was afraid of letting her go. 'In this world I have nothing except her. *sigh* blinded by her love, if she ascend I will ascend and if she descend I will follow her.' He inhaled her fragrance which dwarfed the medical smell of the room in his mind.

"Haha. Honey? Why don't you change first?" she chuckled at his eagerness.

"Rora, we need to talk ." He said.

She was taken back by his sudden seriousness. "Ah. Sure. Did something happened honey?"

"Lets sit down a bit."

Both sit down on bed as Aurora was becoming worried.

"Ahh. Today some information was poured in my mind, it seems that I got an ability."

Her eyes widened in surprise and she smiled.

"Wow. That is good news! What is your ability?" Dan smiled as she believed him firsthand. He was ready to give some more explanation, but it seemed his wife had blind faith in him.

"Ahh. Its …"

"Hmm?"

"It's related to the Elysian Nine-Tailed Fox."

Her eyes widened, and then her face became red, apparently from shame.

"And it was awakened... When I saw you and Xan." Aurora trembled as her voice started to break.

"But I was kind of turned on by seeing you and Xan doing it," he said while he held her hand.

He was also having a hard time processing the situation. So he confessed with a hard, beating heart.

Aurora looked somewhat dazed. Then she slowly said, "I never wanted to hide from you. It hurts me." I never told you because you didn't have a chance to accompany me to the end. One can't live longer than normal without awakening a bloodline for beastfolk or gaining a meditation technique for humans."

She said it with watery eyes and a sobbing voice. Dan was slightly surprised and smiled faintly. 'So a meditation technique has this function.'

He buried her head and drooping ears in his chest and whispered. "I don't know how to feel about it... You just wanted me to have a good life till my death." At the mention of his death, she pressed her head harder against his chest. "But although it feels like you kept many things secret from me, I don't care as long as you love me."

"I love you with all my life," she said in a muffled voice.

"I love you too, dear... and I got a meditation technique as an ability."

"What?" she froze.

"So would you tell me about yourself?" He said this as he stroked her head.

It was a long night as she told the story. Her mother was from a special lineage; they held the potential to awaken the bloodline of a mystical fox beast. This was knowledge handed down generation after generation until it reached her. She was taught a secret by her mother: one of the ways to awaken the bloodline, according to legend, was to find someone who could truly love her. If that happens, a bond will form between the two, and she can awaken her bloodline. If the other one was a beastfolk, they would have a chance of awakening their bloodline, and if it was a human, they could awaken an ability. But the Elysian Fox was a legendary beast, so the lifespan of its bloodline was longer than that of ordinary people. So this path was wrought with bitterness and tragedy.

"So at that day on the hill...

"Yes, our bond formed, but you lost memory of it."

Dan was always confused about that blurry memory, and now it became clear.

"My parents' death wasn't an accident." Her words shocked Dan.

"After Mother failed to awaken her bloodline through various means, she came to the village and started a new life. But they always seemed to fear something. "And seeing their deaths, I confirmed that it was suspicious; they would never leave me together!" she sobbed.

Dan felt a shiver run through his spine. He was sure she wasn't delusional and couldn't get over her loss, so her words made his blood run cold.

'Will this happen to her, just like her parents?' Just the thought was causing him to panic.

"So after I awakened my bloodline, I decided it was best to move from the village."

Dan nodded.

"And about having sex with others, my lust is almost uncontrollable." And after my bloodline, allow me to gain power by sex." She blushed with teary eyes.

She knew she was cruel to him, yet she cared about him the most in the world, and to protect it, she started her path toward power. At least she could give him a good life until his eventual death.

Dan also guessed her line of thinking, and after thinking about his love for her, he sighed in his heart, "It's like a predetermined sequence. I fell for her, giving my life to her, and she surrendered her body to others to protect me until I died.'

From another perspective, her life after me would be sad because, according to her, after she advances in her power, she can't form a bind anymore given that she found someone who loves her so deeply.

"Sigh. It's just too much. We can move on from this with each other's help." He said

Her expression brightened, and she smiled.

"But I have to say... My meditation technique gives me power as you have sex with others." He said this, averting his eyes.
