My body reacted to the attack.

I moved with a short burst of explosiveness that could only be attributed to my strength.

‘I can feel the intent!’

It was an invisible energy filled with murderous intention directed right at me.

Although there was no physical proof of it, I could feel it in my bones, something was lashing out at my head.

Crouching down, a whip-like tail passed right over my head. However, just as I did, I felt another intent directed at the right side of my body.

My muscles were already strained and fatigued, but I forced myself to dodge. ‘Move!!’

With another burst of explosiveness, I thrust my body up into the air while supported with my left hand to the ground, successfully evading another attack. Yet I knew that if I remained on the defensive, I would lose my life then and there.

I cannot die here. Not now,

‘Not like this!’

Anger bubbled in my veins as I felt that tug in my chest and I prepared to strike back.
