Unclenching my bloodied fist, I made ready to head out once more, and although I had just done battle consecutively, there was no time for me to rest.
Remembering the feeling of transmitting my intent, I asked once more for nature to lend me its aid. But just as I had, a feeling of lightheadedness overtook me and my steps faltered like a drunken man’s walk home.
I tumbled a few steps and swayed my arms around foolishly before finally losing my balance. I fell to the ground with only the hand I had placed before me on instinct allowing me not to collapse.
‘W-What is this?’ I asked in exasperation, feeling my senses dull and my body grow weaker by the second.
It was only after a few grueling seconds of vulnerability did I regain my bearings, only to delve into more exasperation.
‘This has never happened before...’
