Swimming

No, I was drowning.
Everything was overwhelmingly dark, yet, nothing alien to me after my unique experience. Slowly I woke up from my muddled state and sensation returned to my body.
I tried moving my body but it felt as if tons upon tons were stacked on it. My limbs felt constricted and my breathing was… I wasn't breathing.
I'M NOT BREATHING!
Suddenly panic filled my mind as I thrashed around with difficulty. I kicked my legs and swung my arms haphazardly in an attempt to fight my way out of these formless chains. An action born purely out of panic and nothing rational.
*pant* *pant* *pant*
Only when I felt a bit of fatigue and my squirming quieted down did I realize that I was not affected by the lack of breath.
Curious I 'looked' around in an attempt to make something of my situation, but before I could even move my head I realized the futility of my actions. So, I focused on sensing the Aeter instead.
