“{Wind Wall}” Jonas chanted, summoning a wall of turbulent winds from his small repertoire of spells in order to hastily defend against the projectile.
BANG, the projectile crashed against the wall sharply.
But the wall did not completely defending against it, it only managed to dull the blade’s edge and divert it sideways before dispersing.
Before Jonas could regain his bearings, the beast that launched the attack SHRIEKED in anger, and let loose more of its blades.
Pursing his lips on concentration, Jonas conjured many more of his {Wind Wall}s , diverting the course of each blade projectile with great difficulty as his defenses broke down one after the other and he found himself skidding back under the weight of the blades.
When the attacks finally stopped, Jonas’s hooves found no more space to move back, the unconscious body of Elias was now right behind him.
Jonas’s eyes contracted and cold sweat slid down his back.
