Chapter 4: Training

Next day, early in the morning Tsunade was waiting Ryuu in the kitchen. On the wooden table was an old looking large scroll with a swirl mark.

When Ryuu came into the kitchen Tsunade said to Ryuu "Ryuu-chan come here and sit"

"Since Shizune and i are going to leave Iron country after 1 year i decided to speed up your training"

"Yes, I understand mom" Ryuu said with serious expression.

"Good. In 2 years i trained you in basics to build your foundation. Now i don't have much time to left to train you up to my standard i decided to teach you the Shadow clone jutsu" Tsunade said.

'Yes. after 2 long years i'm going to learn cheat techinque' Ryuu did victory dance in his mind then asked " Mom, what's a Shadow clone jutsu. Is it variant of clone jutsu?"

"The Shadow clone jutsu is a forbidden technique. Even though it's forbidden because of chakra requirement it's not of importance for you. After all you are an Uzumaki you have plenty of chakra to spare. It was developed by my grand uncle Tobirama. Unlike regular clone jutsu Shadow clone jutsu produces solid clones. They can use jutsus and fight."

"Wow awesome. It's like one man army ,it is really useful, mom!" Ryuu said excitedly "But how is it going to help to shorten my training time with you" Ryuu asked with confused expression.

"Most important thing about Shadow clone jutsu is you can retrieve it's memory when clone is dispelled. You can even get it's muscle memory. That way you can learn katas more faster" Tsunade explained with smug smile.

"Thank you mom, you are the best" Ryuu stood up and shouted in excitement. "Let's go mom, lets train in that technique"

"Wait Ryuu-chan there is one more thing" then Tsunade pointed at old scroll that was on the table then said "It's last thing left from my grandmother Mito Uzumaki. The sealing scroll of Uzumaki clan. I want you to learn from it. Make Uzumaki clan proud son!"

"Yes mom! I will make Uzumaki clan proud, more importantly make you proud!" Ryuu said in firm resolution.

Hearing this Tsunade said while pinching his cheeks"Awwww, my son is so mature. I'm already proud of you son"

Ryuu's pov

How did that blond clown learn it so fast. I finally learned it after 2 days of constant training. I even got permission to skip sword training from Nakamura sensei to learn Shadow clone. I wish i never said he can increase the training double or triple times with Shadow clone jutsu. I really hate when that old geezer's eyes glow.

Now come to think of it what should i do with Naruto. Should i leave him be.

When i was younger i liked Naruto's character but when i grew older and older i started to question his sanity.

He was hated, ignored, cursed and isolated daily from young age. How did he grow up to that bright child, i don't know.

Probably because of brainwashing made by third Hokage.

About Kakashi i don't really blame him. His father committed suicide when he was young, He lost his friends and teammates in the war, he couldn't fulfill his friend's dying wish by killing his last teammate with his own hand, and he was scarred by war when he was just a child.

Then finally losing his father figure, teacher to the Nine tailed demon fox. After that much of trauma he wasn't fit for raising a child.

As for Jiraiya f*ck him. He literally abandoned him. And don't even think about mentioning training trip. He taught him what. How to use fox chakra, how to make a bigger rasengan, How to dispel a genjutsu, and little bit of taijutsu.

For attention starved child like Naruto it meant lot.

About Hiruzen Sarutobi i have a mixed feelings. He is hokage before all things. So i can't blame him. His duty is betterment of Konoha. He is the leader of military village. You need loyal Jinchūriki rather than a selfish uncontrollable monster. If i was a leader i would have done the same.

There's no point thinking something about things too far away in the future. I'll just make sure everything to turn into my favor.

Now i learned Shadow clone jutsu lets speed up the training.

Change of pov

After getting out of his inner debate he ran to his house and yelled "Mom, i have finally learned the shadow clone jutsu. Now lets go and train"

"Ok ok. No need to yell" Tsunade said with smile then called Shizune " Shizune it's training time. Ryuu-chan is ready for full training"

Then turned to Ryuu "Make 10 clones Ryuu-chan and let 5 of them follow Shizune and 5 of you with me ok"

"I will work on your chakra control with your clones, follow me to the forest" Shizune said already in her teacher mode. Then shunshined away.

"Mom what are you gonna teach me?" Ryuu asked

"First lets check your chakra nature, Here, infuse your chakra with this paper" Tsunade said while giving him chakra paper.

Ryuu took chakra paper from Tsunade's hand then infused his chakra to the paper. The paper when it came into contact with Ryuu's chakra wrinkled into a ball then started dripping water then dampened.

"So you have 2 chakra natures, Lightning and water. quite a powerful combination" Tsunade said.

"What's your natures mom" Ryuu asked

"Actually i can't use wind. I trained other four natures equally" Tsunade said arrogantly.

"Wow you are so cool mom!" Ryuu exclaimed. Then said with hope filled voice. "So by checking my chakra natures are you going to teach me a jutsu?"

"Yes Ryuu-chan. I will teach you a jutsu for each of your nature. When you are proficient enough on your two jutsus i will teach you more" Tsunade said then "Original Ryuu-chan will train in taijutsu with me".Then she pointed at Ryuu's clones " Two of you will learn water bullet jutsu, and you two will work on lightning senbon"

"Yes! we will learn these two jutsus in no time" Ryuus shouted in excitement.

Since that day Ryuu trained with his mother and sister diligently and now it's time to Tsunade and Shizune to leave.

Now four people and one pig could be seen in front of huge gate of Iron country's capital city.

Shizune said to Ryuu with tears in her eyes and with shaky voice "Ryuu-chan take care. Shower daily, eat plenty of food, and don't forget to write a letter ok. I will miss you so much" then hugged him tightly.

"I understand nee-chan. I will write atleast once a week, i promise. I will miss you too" Ryuu said equally sadly.

"Ryuu-chan come here and close your eyes" Tsunade said softly. Then knelt down in front of Ryuu.

When Ryuu obediently closed his eyes he felt cold thing on his neck. When he felt that he opened his eyes and saw necklace of legendary 1st hokage.

"Mom it's your necklace" Ryuu said.

"Yes son. Now it's yours. This necklace is a family heirloom. Take good care of it okay. Whenever you miss me hold onto this necklace"

"Thank you mom, i love you and i will miss you so much" Ryuu said with quivering voice.

"I love you too son. I will miss you too." Tsunade said with tearful eyes.

"Don't cry mom, sis. It's not like we are separating forever. When i finish my training i will always be with you."Ryuu said trying to lift their spirit.

"Yes son, I know. But i can't help it. You are my dear son" Tsunade said.

"You don't have to worry about Ryuu. When you guys meet him after his training he will not be the same scrawny kid but a true warrior!" Nakamura said.

Hearing this Tsunade and Shizune made last hug in turn with kiss on his cheeks and forehead "Good bye son/little bro" the added respectively then headed to the cart of traveling merchant while trying to hold their tears and failing miserably.

When Nakamura and Ryuu couldn't see the cart anymore in the distance Nakamura said to Ryuu "If you want you can cry brat. Once in a while man can cry"

Hearing this Ryuu said "No, i won't cry sensei. It's not a farewell, It's the beggining of new journey"

"Hoooh, When did you become this wise brat. It seems i gave you too much free time that you came up with these wise words huh?" Nakamura said with sadistic grin.

Ryuu instantly paled and thought 'me and my big mouth, shit'
