Lord Creon sighed in agony. How was he meant to face his wife? What was he going to tell Esmeray and Myrtle back home? That he had lost Velma for good?
"I will go in alone," Lord Creon said, he could not give up now. He was not going to turn his back when he knew Velma was in there possibly at the brink of death.
"I'm afraid as your Alpha I cannot allow you do that," Artemis said firmly. If the terms of entering the labyrinth were not met anyone who entered was certain to die. He held little hope that although he had not acknowledged Velma as his Luna, the labyrinth will recognise her and allow her pass through alive.
"I beg of you," Lord Creon knelt down befire the young Alpha.
"There is nothing more I can do, I advice that you go home to your wife and the rest of yiur children," Artemis said.
"How can I go back? If I cannot protect one how.shakl I protect them?" Lord Creon was.im anguish.
"I ask that you stand up," Artemis said.
