"Titus!" Barton gasped, hurrying over to his frien who lowered his gun. "What on earth!"
"Don't question it," Titus said, his voice was cold and distant. "Make haste." He unlocked the door and stepped in, flicking the light switch on and then observed his environment before turning it back off an walking towards the empty consultancy room.
"How can you see in the dark?" Barton asked following after his friend.
"How can you see in the dark?" Titus retorted, pushing the panel in the wall open.
"I simply follow the sound of your footsteps," Barton responded.
"Hmm," Titus said, satisfied with the answer. He did not want Barton knowing exactly how he got to his lab because he was no sure of he could trust Barton with such a huge secret.
But Barton could see as his eyes were accustomed to darkness; like his kind.
