Revenge from the Ghost General

"Was I good?"

Thyme asked while cuddling her.

"Mn..."

She looked at him and smiled. He then kissed her forehead and cheeks.

"It's too late. We should sleep now!" Thyme suggested.

"Do you want to?" Risha gave a devilish smirk.

"Silly girl, yes. We have miles to go." Thyme pat her head and combed her hair with his hands.

"Hmmm." Risha slowly closed her eyes.

Moobhan was still on his way. To reach the exact spot still needed a day. He was so tired and unwell that he wanted to stop but for the sake of his daughter, he kept on going.

"It's almost midnight, we should stop here and rest a bit," Moobhan said and alighted from his horse.

"Tomorrow, we will be there. Also, you both should examine our way too, if you find something suspicious just tell me." Moobhan ordered.

"Yes sire." both the men said.

_______

It had been almost more than one week since Moobhan had disappeared from Awaish. Zebar's anger was at its peak.

"I don't give a damn, find that family for me. I don't care if you have to kill every person in this world just kill but bring that family to me." He threw the glass on the floor and yelled at his most loyal man.

"I want them, I want them, I want them." He was screaming and going crazy.

"Sire, I'll bring them back to you, even if they are beneath the surface, I'll find them for you." He knelt before Zebar and said. Zebar's eyes were red and he wanted to kill Moohbhan.

_______

It was almost dawn when Thyme woke up. He looked at Risha, who was sleeping peacefully in his lap. He gave a lovely smile. Thyme knew that Risha won't leave that bastard and now it was up to them, how they could summon the iron rod. He recalled the legends of the ghost general.

"He can only be killed by the iron rod. But to summon the iron rod, you have to practise killing the talisman forty times. And when the iron rod is in your hands, you must put it on fire. This is how the ghost general is killed. But once when the iron rod is in your hands, the ghost general will be in front of you. He is so clever and smart. He can blackmail anyone with his talks. One must not come under a ghost general's influence if one wants to kill him." Thyme's flashbacks made him clear about how to kill the ghost general.

"What are you thinking"? Risha took a glance at him and said in a sleepy voice. She slowly opened her eyes.

"I have figured out how to kill the ghost general," Thyme said.

"Ehhhh"? On listening to this Risha immediately woke up and sat down beside Thyme.

"How"? Risha asked with curiosity.

"Risha, do you trust me?"

"Of course, I do." She chuckled.

"Now listen, first we will light the fire. Then I'll practise the killing of Talisman forty times. When the iron rod shows up, we both will put it in the fire." Thyme said.

"Oh, it's too easy." Risha smiled.

"Not really. When we will touch the iron rod, the ghost general will show up and he will confuse and mislead us with his words." Thyme said.

"Would he be aware of our mind communication?" Risha asked.

Thyme thought for a while and said, "Maybe not. If it is the case, then we won't say a word and will communicate with each other through the mind. Okay?"

"Okay". Risha smirked peacefully.

Both of them gathered wood and lit the fire, and Thyme sat down in a meditative pose to practise killing talisman.

Risha looked at him and said, "Thyme"?

"Mn?"

"Take care." She smiled and he smiled back.

It took him two hours to summon the iron rod. It was almost 2 PM when the iron rod finally showed up.

"It is here, Thyme," Risha said in a low voice.

Then suddenly, Risha touched her. Regardless of how powerful the iron chain was, Risha's anger and desire for revenge were much more than that. After a little bit of struggle, the iron rod was in Risha's hands.

"Ha Ha Ha." suddenly, a massive creature showed up. Its skin was grey. It was bald and was wearing an iron warrior suit. Its face was scarred and half burnt. It was the ghost general.

"Ha Ha Ha, you think you can kill me." The ghost general laughed out loud.

Upon hearing this, Thyme opened his eyes and came back to Risha. He too then held the iron rod. Now they both were communicating with minds.

"Don't answer him, just try to put that chain in the fire," Thyme said.

They were right, the ghost general was clueless about their mind communication.

"Girl, I haven't even enjoyed you and you are trying to kill me." The ghost general smirked.

"Shut up you fucking bastard." Thyme lost his temper.

"Thyme, don't." Risha looked at Thyme.

"How dared he..."? Thyme was saying something.

When the ghost general turned around and interpreted him, "Oh, so you have fucked her, how was she?"

"You bastard. You fucking pervert." Thyme said in anger.

He was about to leave the iron rod when he heard Risha's voice in his mind.

"Thyme, don't answer him. He is just making us confused. He just wants us to free his chain. Don't listen to him. For me, Thyme please." Risha's voice was gruesome.

Thyme looked at Risha and her eyes said, "I got you, Thyme. Let's just end this bastard." He nodded yes and both of them pulled the chain together.

There was a negligible distance between the iron rod and the fire. The ghost general upon seeing this again attacked them with his words.

"Girl, don't you know he is married?" He laughed. Risha seemed a little bit distracted for a moment.

"Don't listen to him, he is lying," Thyme said.

"Don't you know, he was once fucked by his brother, ha ha ha" The ghost general again laughed.

Risha was losing control.

"Risha, don't listen to him." She looked at Thyme confused.

Thyme gathered all his energy, and spiritual powers and hinted to Risha to do the same with his eyes. Risha organized her thoughts and focused on what she was doing and how important it was. Both of them now we're too strong and ready to throw the iron rod into fire.

"Now," Risha screamed.

Finally, they threw the iron rod into the fire. When the rod was in the fire, the body of the ghost general started to burn. He was screaming with pain. Soon, his body burnt to ashes and now there was no more ghost general. Thyme and Risha looked at each other and smiled.

"Risha". She heard the voice coming from her back.

"Baba." she turned back and her father was standing behind her.

________

When the daughter and the father hugged; both were crying. He kissed her forehead and asked, "I'm sorry, my dear daughter that you had to go through all this." Her father said while cleaning her tears.

"Baba, we both met and you know the ghost general is dead." She suddenly exclaimed with joy.

"Eh, what?" Emperor's two men were shocked, how can a woman kill the ghost general when many brave men couldn't? Their mouths were wide open.

"Yes, I saw a little bit of it," Moohbhan said.

"But Baba, how did you find me?" "Smoke led me here." He smiled while looking at her.

--------

When Thyme came forward, Moohbhan seethed his sword,

"Baba, he is Thyme." Risha smiled. Moohbhan seemed confused.

"Baba, we together Killed the ghost general."

"Hmm," Moohbhan sheathed his sword.

Thyme knelt and welcomed Kaptan.

"May blessings be upon you," Thyme said.

"You have helped my daughter, so you will be our guest." Moohbhan smiled. After having a brunch, they were ready to leave the jungle. Moohbhan and Risha sat down on the same horse and others on their own.

"Baba, have Eastern Valley accepted us?"

"Yes". "Birha and Maa missed you," Moohbhan said.

"I know." Risha smiled.

________

"Sire, sire, sire. Hwaz is back." A servant said in a high tone to Zebar.

Hwaz was the most loyal man of Zebar.

"What did you find?" Zebar asked hastily.

Hwaz: "Sire, they are in Eastern Valley."

Zebar: "Eastern Valley doesn't accept outsiders."

Hwaz: "Sire, I'm not lying. My source is much more confident about that."

Zebar: "What about the ghost general?" A servant interrupted in the middle, "Sir, Sardar is here."

Zebar: "Send him in".

He then turned to Hwaz, "Get all the information about the ghost general."

"Sure sire." he said and left.

"Maybe blessings with you," Sardar said.

"It took you so long, Sardar." Zebar's evil smirk made Sardar worried.

"Leader, Raja wants to meet you. He has asked you to come in person."

"Hmm. Say to your Raja that Zebar will meet him." Zebar gave a devil smile.

________

"Maa, will Di be okay?" Birha asked with teary eyes.

"Birha, she is your sister. You know her better than I. She will be fine. They must be coming back now." Misha Bai smiled.

"How did you know? " Birha's eyes were wide open.

"I'm a mother, I can feel." Misha Bai smiled.

_________

It was getting dark and Moohbhan proposed to take some rest and have dinner.

"I will go to find some hints," Thyme said.

"We will accompany you." Both the Aaqa's men said.

"Okay, until you come back, let me light the fire," Moobhan said.

The three went down for a hunt. Soon, the fire was lit. Moohban and Risha were sitting around it.

"Risha"

"Yes Baba"

"Is he from the Arz'z army? "

Risha took a pause, "Yes Baba."

"Then why are you with him? " Moobhan asked politely.

"Baba, he is a good man. We love each other. He was here to find me," Risha replied.

"What?" Moohbhan now had some serious problems with Thyme.

"Risha, you know what are you saying?"

"Baba, I just came from a dangerous place and you are questioning me?" Risha made a gloomy face.

"Okay, okay." They heard a distant voice.

"The ghost general was very talkative. He mislead us." It was Thyme's voice. "Then?

Then what happened?" Aaqa's men asked at the same time.

They reached the fire spot.

"Then he asked us to cook dinner for him." Thyme laughed. They hunted down some rabbits and started to cook them. Moohbhan was weirdly looking at Thyme. Risha tried to communicate with Thyme by the mind.

"Thyme, I told him."

"What?" Thyme said loudly that everyone heard.

"What happened brother? "

The men asked.

"What, what?" Moohbhan asked.

"Nothing, nothing. I just had a bad thought." Thyme saved his face.

"You silly boy," Risha said in mind and Thyme smiled. After dinner, they rested for a bit and then started their journey again. Tomorrow they would be in Eastern Valley.
