The Rescue Mission

Mei Wei sat there looking into nothing. His eyes were dull but there was a hint of expectation inside them. He was still looking for his Aman.

Alex's gaze was fixed on him. A part of him wanted to keep a close eye on Mei Wei, so he did not dash again and jump down towards the cliff. However, a bigger part of him was amazed at Mei Wei's devotion. He always knew that Mei Wei loved Aman. But he did not know that he loved him to the extent that he would even jump down the cliff after Aman.

Seeing him like this, he started pondering over his own feelings towards Aman. He was sure he liked Aman. He liked him enough that he even dared to call it love.

But looking at Mei Wei now, he did not feel his liking was enough to be called love. 

After his spat with Mei Wei about who was more suitable for Aman he went to his home completely enraged. Surely he had said many hurtful things to Mei Wei but his own ego was wounded too.
