Chapter 1Entrance exam

To enter this Collage i want to go to, we have to take an entrance exam my parents helped pay for this collage i was so excited i had been practicing my sword skills to get in. when the day came to pass the entrance ceremony was long and boring but their was a lot of people i saw. They seemed to already chummy with each other i seemed to be the only one without a friend eventually the exam came along i saw a lot of great, swordsmen and women finally my turn arrived.

"So what's your name kiddo?"

"Nico Leztier"

"Ah...The Transfer"

"Yeah I'm ready"

"Alright all you have to do is cut that piece of wood into a statue"

I take my stance and dash forwards as fast as i can and ace the test with flying colors. Everybody else did exceptional at the test so with the day over i started walking home but i could hear someone calling me i followed the voice to a hole i walked inside it was dark utill i came upon a case it was closed i went up to the case and inspected it it seemed to have a lock on it but the key was right beside it i took the key and opened the case and it was an outfit, it looked so tattered and old, it was white, had scratches and some withered cloth, i touched the outfit then it clung to me. Suddenly my eyes turned white along with my hair it was a strange occurrence, i decided that the best course of action was to take off the outfit but it clung to me like a leech drawing blood from the victim. I ran home but while i was running home i noticed i had gotten faster. When i arrived i knocked at the door my mother answered.

"Do i know you?"

"Of course I'm your son mom!"

"You don't look like him."

"I went into a weird hole then found this outfit now i cant take it off!"

She look at me closer then realized it was indeed her son and she was horrified.

"What did i tell you about wandering off!"

"I'm sorry!"

"Its fine just come inside"

I went inside my home then my whole family looked at me like i didn't belong there i explained the situation to them they seemed kind of empathetic. The next day the letter of Acceptance came and I was accepted to the school.

GlaringError here! As I have already mentioned in my author review I am restating it here since I am getting tons of comments about it, that I am more of a reader myself than a writer, I made this novel in an attempt to capture my fantasy world residing in my mind into words.. Writing is new for me.. The premise of my novel is inspired by many great works that I have loved over the years. And some elements I have in my novel that are slightly similar to them but it's just the skeleton of it, the real meat of the plot is entirely my own cooking. Some of the influence that is more noticeable is from The Runesmith (By Kuropon), The King's Avatar (By Butterfly Blue) and Shadow Slave (By Guiltythree). I have immense respect for these legends and I can only hope to follow in their footsteps. To all those who comment just by judging the name, at least give it a chance before letting your opinions be known. Thank you.
