The Tale of Everlasting Heroes

This is an extremely early work I made, please check it out if you would like me to redo it and fix up plot inconsistencies and other issues that may crop up. I was like 14 when I wrote this so my writing was very choppy and not very well thought out. Please feel free to lay into me on any errors you find, everything I had written then is here, unedited, so that I can find some feedback. I keep on judging things I write harshly and not ending up publishing them, so any help is greatly appreciated. p.s. If this does get reworked, I will come up with a new title and storyline, change up characters and the power system a bit, but the skeleton of it will still be there. It will be somewhat recognizable as what it was originally. This will also stay up so that anyone can look and see how far I may end up going. In this world, there are people born with memories of their past lives, come along as our heroes unlock the power hidden within them, and grow into protectors of all existence, or the destroyers who tear everything apart.

CHAPTER 5: Renowned Afterwords and Aftermath

After Isshin and the others received their rank bonus and were officially rank D students of the academy, they all headed their separate ways for the night. Isshin headed off towards his dorm room and met up with Samantha who was standing around the area near his dorm waiting for him. Juan and William just headed straight to their dorms for the night, as it was getting late. Kevin headed out towards the beach to do some training by himself. Adam just went around to the vending machines before heading off to bed in his dorm. With Isshin and Samantha, they spoke of the marks that spread across his body when he used that technique from before. Isshin wasn't very worried, but Samantha said that the energy she felt from it felt weird. She said it didn't feel like Isshin. Isshin said that if he felt something weird he would report it to the headmaster, but for now told Samantha to keep quiet. When Kevin was training at the beach, he noticed he was being watched, but he ignored it.

Throughout the rest of their first year at the academy, Isshin, Kevin, William, Adam, Samantha, and Juan all kept up their training and learned how to connect their souls to their weapons, making their weapons accessible from anywhere they needed them immediately. They also made friends with Edward and Autumn Rose, the latter of which being more friendly, along with meeting Annabelle Ann Andromendar, Steven Heer-Arc, and Delilah De-Flouri, along with Aaron Karca, who had transferred in after the first month.

Over break, not much happened aside from the ranking up ceremony for all eligible students that was held at the end of the year. Everyone who had performed well during the year moved up to rank C, except for those who were already rank D, they were moved up to rank B. Isshin and the others all left to do their own things afterward, leaving only Kevin and the Rose twins to stay at the academy. When everyone returned for their second year, the three of them all seemed like much closer friends than before, as they hadn't really gotten along beforehand.

During their second year, everyone learned the process for capturing familiars, but were left to their own devices to figure out which familiars were compatible with their auras. They weren't, however, given extra free time to do so.
