CH 10: Almost There....

The crimson smoke kept coming out from the crack, covering the whole Altar that they couldn't even see what was happening inside the smoke.

Even Diablo could feel that if such a being really was able to came to their world and If they couldn't control It, It could be dangerous for all of them.

So Diablo tried hard to stop his Mana flow or somehow close the connection with the Abyss but Diablo kept failing no matter what.

'What have I done? This is definitely caused by me. No matter what I do, I always hurt everyone else. Please stop this! Someone help me! I don't want to hurt anyone anymore.'

As Diablo couldn't stop the summoning, It's mind began to fall into chaos. Diablo began to blame itself thinking that such powerful being was definitely coming here because of him.

As Diablo was about to get lost in It's own mind, Diablo sensed something strange. 'It' sensed that the his Mana was also being absorbed by that strange crimson smoke.

'What the hell is this thing trying to do...!?'

At first Diablo was confused that what this being was trying to do by absorbing his Mana since from the presence Diablo felt from it, Diablo was sure that such powerful being wouldn't need any Mana from him but than why?

Diablo tried again to at least stop his Mana to be absorbed by this being. But at last, Diablo still failed. Now Diablo could only wait and see what would going to happen.

While Diablo was having intense fight over the control of It's own Mana. Sebastian was in a complete panic, trying hard to find a way to help his King but he couldn't found any.

He knew of a way to forcefully stop the flow of the Mana but doing that he could heavily injured his King. So he kept trying to come up with any safe idea.

As for Igor, he was very confused at first to what to do in this situation? Since he hadn't face this kind of situation before.

But due to having huge amount of experience in battlefield where even a few seconds of hesitation can cause their death, he quickly recovered and began to observe the situation.

If he tried to attack the being from the Abyss or go near It, he feared that It might endanger everyone in the room as that crimson smoke could become aggressive or attack them.

As for running from here with Diablo and Sebastian, Diablo could not move from It's position due to sending Mana in the summoning circle and Sebastian would definitely not leave without Diablo.

And even if they could run, It would endanger the lives of other people inside the castle. Thus, only thing he could do now was wait for a right opportunity.

Because of that both Sebastian and Igor could only stand there silently and do nothing. But If they knew that the being from the Abyss was absorbing the Mana from Diablo, both would have been even in more panic for their King.

Because of that Diablo remained silent and didn't told them what was happening with him right now.

'Since this is caused because of me, then I should be the one who solve It.'

Diablo, still blaming himself, again tried to take control over his Mana back. After few minutes, Diablo felt that the mysterious being had stopped absorbing It's Mana and Now, Diablo could even control his Mana completely again.

Without wasting a second, Diablo severed the connection of his Mana from the summoning circle. Which caused the summoning circle to lose It's light and even the crack above the Altar began to close itself.

As soon Sebastian sensed this, he quickly ran forward to his King.

"Your Majesty, are you alright? Nothing happened to you right? You are not feeling anything strange right?"

Because of the many questions asked by Sebastian, Diablo remained silent not to know to what say to him right now.

As for Igor, he was relieved that Diablo was safe but he still didn't removed his gaze from the crimson smoke covering the whole Altar. Igor after walking near silently stood in front of the Diablo.

So that he could protect Diablo from any danger If the strange crimson smoke tried to attack them.

As Sebastian calm down after seeing that their was nothing wrong to his King. He also shifted his gaze to the crimson smoke and sighed.

"*Sigh*...Its look like we couldn't stop It from coming here."

The strange smoke had completely covered the whole Altar and even after the close of the space crack, the strange crimson smoke didn't disappear. Which mean that It had now completely come into their world.

[Sebastian, what do you think It is trying to do now?]

Diablo was also watching the strange smoke along with others. And asked the question since the strange crimson smoke was doing nothing except covering the Altar as couldn't see inside the smoke.

If it was about the body, there were no defect in it and It would take at most a minute to completely possess the body but even after a minute there was no change.

Diablo was also worried about the amount of Mana that the crimson smoke absorbed. That amount of Mana could easily allow someone, capable to use It, to completely destroy an entire kingdom with leaving a trace.

"Even I don't know what It is trying to do at all."

And Sebastian without knowing the thoughts of his King replied. Even his immense amount of knowledge couldn't describe the scene in front of him completely. And Igor just heard there conversation without speaking anything, guarding them both without removing his gaze from the smoke a second.

"At least this is a good thing that It is a spectral being so the slave tattoo would definitely work on him as soon that thing possess the body, so there is nothing to worry about."

After hearing this, both Igor and Diablo were glad that they would not be in any danger now. And even if that thing tried to attack them a without a body, they would be able to protect themselves.

Sebastian puffed his chest slightly forward, feeling prideful that his preparation protect everyone.

"We just need to wait for It to completely possess the body. We are almost near to achieve our goal."

Said the Sebastian happily.
