CH 25: Weak But Skill Enough to Kill.....

When Igor and me had sparred before, some might had noticed that Igor was agitated and slightly aggressive that he even used his blessing on me.

And this was no coincidence. It was because of my own action that Igor became like that.

This could be considered a skill of mine which I had made after many years of experience.

To understand It much easier, It is just like an [Aggro] Skill used by Tank-type characters in RPG games where your opponent is agitated and attracted to yourselves.

The best thing about It is that It doesn't show any sign when I use It, meaning even the target doesn't feel any strange about It's sudden anger.

If I tried to explain how does It works, It would take me hours to explain It and maybe a whole day to understand It.

Any ways, I had used that skill of mine on Igor so that I could see full strength of him. Of course I had apologized to him for that before coming here.

And now I used that same skill on the Hero which caused him to fight me alone.

In previous three days, along with training I also searched everything about Hero and others. And I reached to the conclusion that I can't defeat them all alone in my current state.

Only chance I had in defeating them was If I fought them one by one. But they would definitely not give such opportunity to me.

But If we change our objective from defeating them to making them retreat. It could slightly ease our burden.

I had noticed that every member of Hero's party are dependent on Hero. If there was something to happen to Hero, the whole party would be in great confusion and fear.

So I decided to confront Hero alone by using my skill, making him accept my challenge.

'And now here we are.'

I looked towards the Hero who was standing in front of me holding a Light sword without any sign of worry on his face.

"If you're not coming then I'll come."

Maybe not liking wasting any more time, he jumped towards me with his sword above his head, ready to cut me in half.

And I also rolled out of the way to avoid his attack. I could block his attack and even counterattack but-

CRASH!!!

As soon Hero's sword struck at the place where I was a moment ago, the ground was completely destroyed causing sand dust to rise and covering the view.

'This damn monster! I knew that he was strong but not this much!'

If I had tried to block that attack I would had been seriously injured. It's no wonder that even with using [Mana Strengthening] Igor still losed to him.

"Huh, so you dodged that."

 As soon I heard his voice the dust calmed down and I saw that the Hero was just standing there casually with a huge crack spread like a spider web on the ground.

From that single strike I could estimate that he was much stronger than me in strength and speed.

And It was because of using [Mana Strengthening], which I learned from Igor was I able to safely dodge his attack but even with that I still lack in physique compared to the Hero.

That's why I called him a monster.

Perhaps getting irritated that he missed his target, he provoked me.

"You are not so impressive than I thought."

But I still didn't respond to him instead I ready myself to strike this time as he might be stronger than me but there was one weakness that he showed me.

'And that one small weakness will going to be his downfall.'

I then without wasting any time went towards him and slashed my Kantana in a uppercut but he easily blocked It with his own Light sword.

"What is this? Is this all yo-!?"

Again he was about to say something but I didn't let him finish this time as I struck my feet at his abdomen causing him to move few steps back.

""Arthur!!""

Seeing that Arthur got kicked, all the girls were agitated and called him. Some of them were about to go towards him.

"Stop! Don't come here."

But It was the Hero himself who stop them to come near. I actually had again used my [Aggro Skill] on the hero, increasing his anger towards me.

"I will take care of this alone. No one stop me."

""....""

Causing him to become angry so much that he didn't cared for others. Right now he just wanted to kill me. And girls could do nothing but stare at him.

They were also sending me angry gazes at me like I had made their boyfriend broke up with them.

"And you...You are quite a coward aren't you? Instead of using the sword why are you using something else. That's cheating, you know."

'.....Is he an idiot or something? This is not some competition. This a life and death battle.'

I was quite surprised when I heard what he wanted to say. But I returned to my focus as I saw clear anger and killing intent inside that eyes of his.

"If you are not go-"

'...He talk to much.'

Again this time without letting him finishing his sentence I struck at him with my Katana. And again with no surprise he blocked It.

But this time I could saw that he was focusing on my legs to avoid from from being kicked second time.

"Bleg!?"

But sadly this time It was my scabbard that I struck on his face that I was gripping on my left hand.

"Why you!!?"

But this doesn't much stun the Hero who immediately after struck again by me tries to punch me in the face too.

But I easily dodged his punch just by moving my head to the side slightly. And not giving him time to react, I moved my sword out of the way of his sword.

Because of the applied force on his sword and not reacting in time. He began to stagger forward. Not missing this opportunity I slashed on his waist.

And distance myself from him as soon ass possible. But because of his armor being much stronger that I thought, I couldn't give him a deep cut.

'Just as I had thought he is not so experienced and is complete novice in swordsmanship. Even his basics and footsteps are messed up.'

Arthur was already so strong when he came to this world that there was no opponent who could face him. Not letting him gain any experience from his previous battles.

And also didn't made him thought to ever learn any swordsmanship. Of course It was also It's Pride that played a role in it.

When he had faced Igor, he had the opportunity to learn from him but because of the help from his comrades even that opportunity was rendered useless.

Thus causing him to become a complete novice in real combat. And this even worse much more when he fought single. Making easier for me.

Of course the Hero was still stronger and faster then me. But

'I am weaker then him but I am skilled enough to kill him.'

"Ahhh Damn It! I'll kill you!!"

After being slashed at his waist, he felt the first such pain in this world or maybe in his entire life that he became complete lost in anger.

The girls who were watching this were were shocked and worried when they saw me injure the Hero but they didn't moved from their place, fearing to offend the Hero.

"Enough playing around I'm going to finish you right NOW!!"

While saying this he began to raise his sword above his head with both of his hands, not covering his slightly bleeding waist. And the sword began to glow blindingly strong.

Likely to perform the same attack that I saw in that Orb in the garden before. Definitely to finish this battle once for an all.

But he doesn't know that ever since I learned that he was novice in battle It was my aim that he use this technique of his.

'Because this is going to be the deciding factor of whose going to win and lose.'

As he began to prepare to launch his technique, I began to run towards him rather than dodging or running. Knowing fully well that It was almost impossible to avoid this attack in such close distance.

Because of the intense light from the sword, everyone weren't able to focus that I was running towards the Hero.

As I was running towards the Hero, I put my sword back inside It's scabbard but I didn't let go of his handle.

"Take this my [Holy Light Slash]."

Maybe having sensed that I was coming closer to him rather than running away from him, he tried to use his flashy-name technique on me.

But I had already reached closed enough and moved my hand which was gripping the handle of my Katana.

[Simple Vertical Slash]

Just before Kai's or Arthur's attack could stuck each other, everything was engulfed into blind golden light, likely from Arthur's Light sword.

Making everyone to close their eyes. At first there was a few seconds of complete silence.

*Clang*

And then there was sound of dropping of a sword on the ground. Rem, Ayaka and others were happy and glad when they heard the sound completely believing that Arthur had won.

And after their eyes had adjusted they opened their eyes.

"W-w-w-what!!? Arthurrrrr!!"

They saw something that they had never imagined. There was Arthur fallen down down on his knees looking blankly on his severed arms, with red blood still flowing out of them.

Making the ground under him and his clothes covered in red color.

Even the Arthur himself was so confused that he couldn't feel the pain at all, he was just staring at his severed arms like he was trying to deny the reality.

But hearing the voice of Mia calling him made him come out of his daze, making his head move upward towards the culprit of this situation standing in front of him.

"Ah-"

But than he wished he hadn't moved his head at all.

"Aahh-"

Because he saw something that he was sure he wouldn't be able forgot in his entire life. A horrifying nightmare.

"Aaahhh-"

A black devil covered in his red blood with crimson-colored eyes that showed only madness inside them and a creepy crimson smile tearing up to his cheeks which was not there before.

And Arthur didn't himself ever knew that what was the reason he screamed that day either It was due to his own pain or.....because of seeing a terrifying being infront of him directly out from someone's nightmare.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!"
