Shigazami's orphanage,located in the town Siberska of Jinezka's kingdom, is a known place that raised more than 50 orphan .

The orphans are ill treated by the Jinezkan , it is known that family's abandon their illigetimate children , to not bring shame to their families, so among orphans there are actually abandoned babies.

between them a set of twins , the girl has an undertermined charachter , when the boy was more of adventurous and a bookworm.

soon to be their thirteenth birthday , the boy bought secretly a cake written on it his and his sister name 'Alina and Lenushka', while the girl managed to buy a book called 'the madman Athanasius', birthdays werent allowed in the orphanage , so the boy and the girl always celeberate it with their friend Joel in the woods , the three of them met next to the orphanage entrance a day before their birthday

"my mom says that she wants to meet both of you , and if you're okey , to celebrate it their" said joel, scratching his head " if you don't mind, i ended up to tell her that i'm meeting with you guys ", the twins looked at each other , people of this town doesnt have a good image on orphans , espacially that most of them are illegitimate children , "look , she won't eat you , she is just grateful to Lenushka that my grades got better, and she wants to see you" .

before Alina can decline her friend's offer , her brother answered first "we will come by" he replied , she didn't want to go ,but it's too late , Joel showed a big smile then quickly hides it, but his friends already noticed , "then tomorrow morning" he said with a wave before going home.

the sister pinched her brothers face "why did you agree!"

"what do you mean sis ? what's wrong with accepting someone' invitation? besides i don't think his mom will invite us just to insult us, she could've warned us about hanging out with her only son!"

the girl shot her brother a glare that made him more furious

"if you don't want to come fine ! but I'd be sorry that we won't celebrate our birthday together"

a silence broke between the siblings, they entered the the orphanage without talking to each other .

in the middle of the night, Alina sneaked in the boys dorm room, searching for her brother , to read together the book " the madman Athanasius".....
