"Nothin' Great... nothin' great!"

Raiden said; forcefully putting the cigarette into Ishan's hands.

"Ahem...Ahem.", Lisa approached Ishan; snatching the cigarette off his clutches- "I can see that!"

She turned towards Raiden and almost scolded him top to bottom with her eyes.

"Don't smoke when you are in hospital."

"Okie."

She extiguished the cigarette, throwing it in the trash.

"These are some meds the doc gave me to give you. Take them and forget smokin'. Okay?"

She turned and took out a case of meds from her bag; seemingly painkillers and regenerators.

"Okay.", Raiden said; pretentiously obedient.

"Huh...", She gave an angry look on Raiden and started leaving.

"Heyyo! Lisa? Wait- Wait for me!", Raiden tried stopping her.

But, She ignored and left the room angrily.

Actually, She had been trying to make Raiden leave his habit of smoking; and had lectured him just a day earlier.

Poor Raiden, You messed it up.

"Robbie-bhai! Kya yaar tum bhi!"*, Ishan; who was silent all this while-- blamed his friend's arrogance.

"Go say sorry to her.", He said.

Raiden, stared at Ishan's face; as he couldn't think why he said that.

"Why should I?"

"She is your Girlfriend...."

"Who said that?", Raiden said; smiling at the situation he was in.

"... Isn't she your girl-"

"Seemin'ly, No.", Raiden answered with a bit of an ignorance.

"Whatever- I thought she is your girlfriend by her behavior. Well, then I guess you won't have a problem she falls down or gets hurt.", This time; Ishan said with ignorance.

"What nonsense! Why would she will fall?", Raiden asked; somewhat harshly.

"One of her heels had some problems with it.", He continued; putting the lighter back in his pocket- "And...since she is angry, I believe it's gonna soon break....very badly-"

.

.

All of sudden- Raiden stood up on his feet, and grabbing his jacket shouted-

"Can't you say this some earlier!"

Ishan laughed at him, as he ran out of the room without even wearing the jacket properly.

"Hey! What should I do with this book?", He shouted; but the sounds of Raiden's running steps faded off without a reply coming back.

"Robbie-bhai! Robbie-bhai! Robbie-Bhai!...Just stop fooling yourself."

He laughed and put the book under the pillow; hiding it properly.

"Ridiculous, Totally ridiculous. Telling him something not to is ridiculous."

I murmured venting my anger in words; walking through the long corridor towards the stairs.

Wait.

But why his ignorance seems to be hurting my sentiments?

What is he to me?

Even if so, What he thinks of me?

I know nothing.

I know nothing of his bulky past.

I nothing of his occupation.

What I know is just, he is a good person.

But, He is good person with some bad, very bad- habits.

He makes me feel ridiculous sometimes.

Yes, He is ridiculously ridiculous to be even branded as ridiculous; But his ridiculousness is too much ridiculous to even handle without some ridiculousity.

I carried myself on my heavy steps, venting off my anger as I walked down the stairs, cursing Robin for his arrogance.

.

.

*cluck*

"Aaaaaaaaa..."

Suddenly, I feel the ground under my feet moved off- and....

I found myself leaning forward almost vertically, but somethin' was wrong

.

.

I felt a strong force holding my legs to not let me Fall.

I felt being suspended on a free fall, not something the Military Academy trained us in; But, Something different in total.

Am I in heaven?

Or just got into a transmigration case, as those Webnovel legends brag about.

I slowly opened my one eye, probing to my surroundings; only to find myself in a half-leaned position.

"W-Would you please stand proper-ly?"

I heard Raiden's voice.

Freaked out, I immediately turned my head- only to see the poor guy holding my one leg labourous-ly to stop me falling.

"What the hell you are doin' here--?"

I exclaimed; immediately standing back on my feet.

"Not-a-thing! I just thought-- I had noticed your

heels to have a problem on them...So I-- So I, came here.", He said; stuttering down uncomfortably.

"So You came here.", I looked towards my heels, and indeed- one of them was broken off.

"So, What now?", I exclaimed; taking off the shoes to carry in my hands.

"...", He thought something; keeping a mum while looking towards my action of standing barefoot.

"I...will help you.", He said; and turned his back towards me.

"Aye?", I was confused- "What I am supposed to do?"

"Let me carry you on my back.", he insisted.

"With your such a broken hand, you dare not say that to me now. I will manage; no need.", I said; hesitating at the idea.

"Think you are giving me punishment of my arrogance.", He said; and suddenly grabbed my shoulders on his back, which because of his height- made my feet again find the ground vanished below it.

"Ayeee Ayeee Ayeeeeee..."

I shouted as he carried me down to stairs on his back; with a wobbly speed of his struggling legs making me worry that we two would fall off till we reach the ground floor.

Fortunately, It seemed not that case will happen as till I opened my eyes; he had brought me down to the ground floor- and I was on my feet.

"You!"

I took a chance to vent my anger.

"How dare you carry me like this!"

"I don't dare, But I have carried you many times like this.", he said; laughing like a fool.

"You are too shameless! I am an Enforcer! Not your..."

Wofff! I shouldn't have said that.

"You are not my...What? You said something?", he asked; turning serious in a fraction of a second.

"I am not your...I am not your..."

I tried buying time to let me think an escape of an answer.

"I am askin' you that--", he started coming closer.

"...", Seeing his approach I retreated backwards.

But, This guy seems serious about the question.

'Someone save me!'- My heart shouted to my mind as he continued coming closer to me.

*Dpp*

Oh no! It's the wall behind me.

I can't retreat anymore.

What should I do- he is right next to me.

I can feel his breath.

'Save me!'- my heart shouted to my brain again.

*Bump*

My hand slowly punched his face out of reaction-

"I will kill you if you are going to do this again."

I said; leaving him standing with holding his face.

.

.

Did I stricked him too hard?

He was just asking for it though.
