75 Missing Nin? Part-2

{Training Ground #44, Konohagakure}

{6:33 PM, 2nd July 13 Yrs ANB}

{3rd Person POV}

"...No that's not her team either," Ren replied as all four of them stopped again. As soon as they arrived within 300m of a team, Ren was able to sense the chakra signatures of the members of that team. Till now they had stumbled upon 3 different teams and Ren had begun to look at Pakkun's effectiveness in a new light.

'He's like a portable Inuzuka clan member, I wonder if I could get a contract with him or someone like him...' Ren thought as they once again began searching. Ren thought about giving up but he sensed 3 familiar chakra signatures.

'Isn't that team 7... why do all three of them have such erratic chakra signatures... and isn't that Kabuto.'

"Kakashi-san," Ren spoke, "Team 7 is up ahead but..." Ren paused as he thought about how to explain.

"But?" Kakashi asked in a casual tone, but the way his eyes narrowed made it seem like he was holding himself back from rushing ahead.

"All three of them look like they are unconscious..." Ren barely had any time to finish before Kakashi vanished in a body flicker. Ren stared at Hayate for a moment before they both nodded and followed Kakashi. 

Ren used Body Flicker and Air gliding to quickly close the distance again. Kakashi and Ren arrived at the clearing earlier than Pakkun and Hayate and looked around at the mayhem that Team 7 had caused.

'Kabuto's chakra signature ran away north, did he do this, or was it Orochimaru?'

Quite a large portion of the forest was burning down, but both Ren and Kakashi's attention was focused on the two bodies crumpled on the floor. Hinata and Sasuke both were sprawled on the ground, their crumpled figure lay motionless. After a quick scan using chakra sense, Ren saw Naruto nailed to a tree with his stomach exposed.

"Ren..." Kakashi spoke with urgency in his voice, Ren flickered beside Hinata and looked down, on her pale neck he could see a 3 tomoe marked.

'Mystical Palm Techinuqe'

"Get Naruto down, he's pinned to a tree behind us," Ren spoke as he knelt down and used his right hand to grab onto Hinata's neck. He used Yin chakra to sense the damage done to her. He suppressed his shock at seeing a strange chakra coming out from the seal that was latched on the Tenketsu on her shoulder, the chakra was invading her body. Ren regained his focus as he tried to find other signs of injury.

"What happened to your left hand," Kakashi asked as he looked at the way Ren winced and moved his left hand slowly. He placed Naruto beside Hinata.

"Nothing important, I haven't had time to properly heal it yet, muscles are a pain to heal..." Ren replied as he looked down at Hinata's face, her body was burning up with a fever and as he turned to look at Sasuke his condition was exactly the same.

'Not good, constant exposure to foreign chakra would render their own chakra network useless.' Ren thought.

Ren focused his attention on the seal on both of their necks, he was able to see that it was a compressed formula so he prodded on the expansion seal. A full-scale seal erupted crawling over Hinata's body and since most of it was covered by her clothes Ren wasn't completely able to make out what the seal was about.

'That's still a lot of high-level fuinjutsu, I barely recognize some of the advanced level seals that I got from my last upgrade...' Ren reasoned, he once again used Yin chakra and tried to suppress the invading chakra from wreaking havoc over Hinata's chakra network.

After a minute of suppressing, the invading chakra stopped attacking the direction that Ren was supporting and started attacking somewhere else. Ren quickly moved on over to Naruto as he spoke to Kakashi, "Get them both to the hospital straight away, they each need at least 3 or 4 specialist doctors who are proficient in Yin healing to suppress the invasion of chakra. That should be enough, Naruto's okay, Hayate would get him to you..."

Kakashi didn't speak as he simply hauled Hinata and Sasuke on both of his shoulders and flickered away. Ren knelt next to Naruto and started scanning him for injuries, there was something interfering with his search.

'It must be his seal, he looks like he is simply knocked unconscious and doesn't have any obvious signs of... wait didn't I heal him before, his seal didn't interfere with my scanning before.' Ren backtracked and lifted Naruto's jumper. 

Naruto's seal was visible and although the main seal looked too complicated, Ren could see a 5 elements seal overlapping his Jinchuriki seal. Ren pulled out a brush from his inventory and drew a counter seal on top of the already marked 5 elemental seal.

"Uhh... Ren, you shouldn't mess with that..." Hayate watched his student nervously. Ren's movements were smooth as he finished etching the seal.

"Fuin," He slammed his hands onto the seal, and the two seals counteracted each other. Both seals slowly unraveled on each other leaving behind the original seal.

Ren stared and marveled at Naruto's seal for a moment, he couldn't make head and tails about where the seal started but seeing Naruto shift he backed away.

"Alright sensei, it's time for me to go..." Ren spoke and hesitated, for a moment he was unwilling to walk away alone.

"Ren here," Hayate threw a scroll at him and spoke, "Open it later and keep it safe, you can't leak anything in it... and come back safe," Hayate spoke.

Ren nodded and spoke, "I will..." Ren wanted to tell him to take a message for Ino but then decided against it. He had more important things to say, "I nearly forgot but I thought those three were just bragging. I didn't know that they were the Kazekage's kids, but they were talking about a plan to invade Konoha during the third portion of the exams."

'No point adding emotional speeches right now, I'll be back anyway.' Ren thought as he nodded and flickered away. The scroll Kakashi had given him earlier contained the patrol schedules around Konoha for this week and the ANBU patrols in around Village. 

This made it a lot easier for him to sneak out of the Forest of Death.

...

{45 minutes later}

Ren looked at the disappearing Konoha gates behind him as he timed his approach out of the village, there was a 2-minute gap so he had to exert himself fully if he wanted to sneak away.

'The scroll said if they could find any bodies of Konoha genins in the forest of death for the exams, Konoha would push the blame on me to sell my cover story, if nothing else they would say I stole an A-rank artifact from the village. So at the very least, I can mix with the black market... According to Kakashi's scroll, the closest black market is around 35 km East of Konoha.' Ren thought the initial route he was taking was planned out by Kakashi so he was sure it was safe for the moment.

'I should heal my shoulder though, and maybe use all but 1 level ups and stats. I don't see myself getting a lot of training time done in the next few months...'
