The mercenary created some space between them, and quickly pulled out a short sword to replace the broken shield. The clash had completely overwhelmed the mercenary. Yusuf lost the clash for the first time in his life against another human.

The Platinum ranked adventurer was quite used to dealing with gigantic beast on a regular basis. As such, he had developed an extremely refined physique since a young age. His strength and speed, which sometimes competed with beasts, was unrivalled among his peers.

This power of his was enhanced even further, when he awakened aura. In fact, of all the first stage aura knights he met, almost none could keep up with him with strength and speed.

Yet, this young woman had not only matched his strength and agility, but she had also pushed him back. Granted that it had more to do with her terribly dangerous sword, yet still, she had managed to do it.
