Your Majesty (Part One)

Skye felt ridiculous in this dress she didn't know why she let Edmond pick it out and now Isaac wouldn't stop staring at her as the approached the throne room in the castle.

"Do I really look that bad? You keep staring at me like I have a third head." Skye grumbled slightly upset and embarrassed.

She hated dressing up in this crap, she didn't care that her father was the King and she was a dumb princess. Anytime she wore clothes like this she felt so out of place and not herself at all. The only time Skye really felt like herself was when she was in her armor with a bow in hand and a quiver on her back.

"No! You look amazing really." Isaac said stirring her from her thoughts.

Skye looked over at her companion who was also dressed impeccably well. Isaac was wearing a white cloak with golden trim. He had a clean face with some cologne and perfectly fixed hair.

"Gods why can't I look like him?" Skye wondered thinking of how hard it was to get ready. She shivered thinking of the pain she went through fixing her hair which refused to stay place anyway.

Isaac looked over at her with a smile and sweet eyes.

"You know I would never lie to you," he said as he pushed the strand behind her ear giving her a bright smile.

"Now let's go in." he motioned towards the giant doors that stood between them and the King.

Skye smiled back and reached for the handle nodding towards the guards on each side of the doorway. "What kind of mood is he in Gerald?" she asked the man next to her in a whisper trying her best to stall. She was nervous that he asked her to meet with him due to the accident that happened at training this morning.

"He has been pacing for hours, requesting no audiences today after a strange diplomat from the nearby Druid Kingdom showed up early this morning." said the guard on her left side in a matter of fact tone although his eyes hinted to his curiosity.

Skye finally pushed the doors open entering the throne room. She scanned the room looking for a familiar face. She locked eye with her father giving him a slight curtsey, her eyes now shooting to the young dark eye man beside him.

"Hello Father" Skye greeted him with a smile her tone completely filled with nervousness.
