Flowers

 Megumi walks into her room, thinking about what she should do. Bored, she looked through the library in her room. For a moment she remembers the young king and she starts smiling but tries to not. 

-I didn't want to leave, but something seemed to make me do it. The king is so handsome... 

 She starts blushing and throws herself in her bed. 

-I don't think he likes me....or he likes me? I don't know.. 

 Suddenly someone unlocks her door and enters through it 

-MY DEAR COUSIN! How you are? Says Odette, her cousin. 

-Not well, someone just scared me to death. 

-What a normal person would to that? Why are you here? Come to the party! 

 Odette takes Megumi by the hand and they both go back to the party. Odette's boyfriend , Lancelot, was there with Gusion. Megumi when she sees him there, starts to back away but Odette takes her and goes to them. 

 Lancelot invites Odette to dance and so Megumi stays with Gusion, again. He turns to her and approaches to tell her something. 

-Megumi. Says in a slow tone. I don't think we'll be able to meet again. 

-What? Says she fast. 

-I have some chores in other lands and I don't know if I'll be back, an uncle needs my help. He stays very, very far away, but I promise I'll be back as soon I can. He says this, taking her hands. 

-What do you mean you don't know if you will come back? Says she while taking her hands and moving back. 

-I can't explain, it's complicated. 

 The king's sad eyes moved toward her. 

-But if you want, you can come with me. He says with a smile on his face, holding out his hand to the princess. 

 The princess thinks for a moment , looking at her family at the end of the ballroom. 

-I can't. 

 Gusion took her hand and kissed them . 

-Wait for me. Said Gusion a hurry while Megumi stood speecheless, tears streaming down her cheeks. 

 In her mind, she knew she won't wait for him. Megumi could feel something strange deep in her heart. She knows that he is not the one. 

 Gloomy with the attitude of the party and the people around her, she decided to go to the cottage in the woods . Dirroth was also bored, and as he was wounded , he couldn't leave too soon .He saw Megumi coming without a smile on her face. 

-Is the party over already? 

-No I'm just tired... and I can't sleep in my room because of the noise made by all that people... ; Said she while looking somewhere else because the curious demon was too close to her face. 

-Hmm really? And what made you came here? 

-Its quiet here and I don't know where else to go...said Megumi looking into his eyes, staring at him. 

 Dirroth quikly catched her by her throat and looking in her eyes with a death stare. 

- Don't ever do that or I'll kill you 

-W-what?! Said she scared 

-I hate when humans or anybody else does that to me. Why are you all staring at me? With those eyes who judges me and saying to youselfs "Oh look ,what an ugly demon, no wonder why God forgot his existing". 

- I'm sorry..i wont do it again. Megumi when she watched at him , didn't through about that. Now shes too scared to stay anymore with him. 

 Dirroth finaly let her down .He didn't wanted to be like that or to do that to her. He saw how scared she was .He just leaved. 

-Where are you going? Her voice were like she just passed the death . 

-Away from you. 

 He was still wounded and couldn't move properly. 

-Are you stupid? You don't see the blood that's coming from your scar? Go and rest you stupid mdfk or ...Or else ,you will see. Aha yea. Bastard 

 Dirroth turned back for a second and smirked, and then walked away. In his mind ,he saw a different creature. He knew that he could hurt her, he couldn't control his power or his will to kill inoccents so he decided to leave. Megumi was behind him , looking around the forest . Dirroth was trying to see whats she doing but when she was catching him, he quikly changed his expresions and looked like he doesn't care. In his way, there where a way with many flowers but they were poisoned . 

- Don't even touch them. 

 Megumi looked confused at him . 

-Aren't they just flowers? I do know every species and they're not dangerous. I'll just- Megumi wanted to take one but Dirroth slapped her hand. 

-Just don't. 

-But i wanna touch it. 

 He slap her hand again . 

-But- 

-No. 

-BUT 

-No. 

 Megumi acted like shes sad and Dirroth rolled his eyes. 

-Alright, do it. Its not like you will have to cut your hand after that. 

-So I'll just grab it- 

-WHATS YOUR PROBLEM WOMAN? 

 He again slaps the flower off her hand and looked down and took another flower. 

-Take this and keep yo hands off that kind of flowers. 

*-Why did I just blushed?!* said Megumi in her mind, looking at his eyes trying not to show a emotion. Dirroth changed his expression after he saw her staring again. 

- Oh yeah...the thing.. Said Megumi looking away. 

 Dirroth aproached her and took her hand while putting the flower in her hair. 

-Ew so ugly . Who dressed you ? Said with a straight expression on his face 

 Megumi felt like giving him a punch. 

-Yeah, your dresser may be dead for some years , isn't it? 

 Dirroth smirked and aproched her more ,looking in her eyes. Megumi was trying to avoid them. She just realised that , in that night , he only killed the thives bcos they stared at him and that made him angry. 

-Why are you avoiding me? Are you scared of something? Said him while trying to make her look into his eyes. 

 Megumi didn't responded. She continued to look away but she couldn't . 

-Hmm? He approached her ear and said , I dare you 

 She couldn't avoid him anymore and looked directly into his eyes. Her heartbeat grow up and he could feel that. He felt something in his cold heart and instant turned back. Megumi felt butterflies, she didn't had feelings for Gusion . When she saw Dirroths eyes, she almost saw he as her lover but she knew that's impossible. A human and a demon? They were still strangers. But his eyes were so beautiful, she couldn't stop staring at them. 

 Dirroth told her to follow him. She then realise they were watched. 

- Let's go . Says Dirroth while taking Megumi in his arms 

-Who are they? I feel like they're not humans- 

 Before to leave that place , some creatures appears in front of them. Some pale figure showed behind them. 

-What a pleasure to see you here, prince .Says a demon with dark hair, dark eyes and he was good dressed . 

*-PRINCE?* Says Megumi turning at him confused. 

 The other demon approached Dirroth. He could feel that if he make another step, he will die. Dirroth was just standing there, wondering if she should get rid of them. 

-I know what are you thinking my prince, we are traitors and our death is usselless right now. We can do you a favor. Says the demon, looking at the girl with a lust for blood. 

 Dirroth saw what they wanted to do. He slowly took her into his arms, holding her tight. He could feel her heartbeat. He doesn't want to talk with them. 

- After 200 years, you finally spoke to a girl corectly and not killing her when you re bored of her. Girl, you better run away until is not to late . Says a demon smirking. 

 Megumi again, confused of what's going on ,spoke. 

-You better leave or he will beat your ass. Says with a straight face, hiding that shes scared to death. 

 Dirroth was surprised . He still was injured and hoped they didn't saw it. He couldn't beat them in the state he was. 

-What do you want, Theador , if I'm right. You want this to happen like the last time? Take your company animals and go away or this time I wont have mercy. 

 The demons could feel how his power goes up. Scared , tried not to put with him. 

- Alright your majesty, calm down . We didn't came here for troubles . We need help. Says the demon 

 Dirroth started to walk away with Megumi in his arms. She was scared. The difference between Dirroth and the others two was big. The two ones were like monsters ,they have long teeth and nails like swords. 

-Wait where are you going? I didn't finished yet? 

 The white demon didn't hesitate and killed the demon . The white demon didn't want to leave after that. 

-Oh? You want to die just like him, don't you? I hope you wont expect me to spare your life . Dirroth says laughing. That's pathetic ,said he while walking to the demon. 

 Megumi was scared. She felt the hunger of blood in Dirroth's eyes. She wanted to step back but an unknown boy took her . 

-Who are you ? Why are you doing this? Said Megumi confused and scared. 

-Sh I'm saving you from these demons. 

-No you're not saving me! Put me down !Now!! 

 The stranger didn't knew what to do. 

-Lady are you crazy? They will kill you and I can't take you back to them. Please, listen to me. 

 Megumi saw Dirroth running after them. 

-Dirroth! Says Megumi with a scared voice 

-You know him? The stranger was shocked 

-Yeah ,please, let me go. 

-I'm sorry but i can't do this. I can't leave you with this guy. 

 The stranger entered the forest in the land of the elves, knowing that the demon would no longer follow him . He was wrong. He sat behind a tree , putting his hand over Megumi's mouth to make her shut up. Megumi was struggling to escape , even tried to bite him when she saw that the stranger was an elf. She knew what kind of people were the elves . 

 The young elf saw Dirroth's hands, full of fresh blood. His clothes were torn and the wounds on him were visible. 

-Will you stay behind the tree for a long time ?God damn you elves are very fast. Said Dirroth catching his breath. Now, give my thing back. Dirroth was going to the tree where the elf was hiding 

-One step and I'll kill her. The elf appeared with a knife at Megumi's neck 

 Dirroth didn't move. Megumi couldn't breathe because of the flowers on the mainland. The elf looked in his back for a second and then he suddenly fell to the ground. Dirroth pulled his claws out of the elf's heart and grabbed Megumi in his arms. He could not feel her pulse . Not knowing what to do, he took her in his back and carried her to the abandoned house. On the way , Megumi opened her eyes to see Dirroth covered in blood. She held on to his shoulders more tightly ,her face was resting against his neck, closing her eyes as well. 

-Thank you.. Dirroth. Said Megumi falling asleep. 

 He noticed that she was already asleep and let her stay like that. He saw a bunch of red flowers and picked one. 

-Pff. Said the demon looking towards the castle were Megumi lives.
