Chapter Thirty Six

I remember everything, the kiss I gave Alex and my life force being taken away by some ghost-looking freak. Then I was in a world of complete darkness and despair. It was the most depressing shit I had ever seen in my life. The sky was grey and the atmosphere was the epitome of sadness. At first, I thought I was dead and had gone to the underworld, doomed to live an eternal life of nothingness. I wasn't ready to accept my fate. I yelled at the top of my lungs for someone to get me out of this hell. 

I wanted to know who I offended to be punished this way. I never hurt anyone and I never did anything to anyone so why am I here? Am I being punished for kissing someone else's boyfriend? I wondered.
