Realizing they both needed to freshen up, Rhys leaned over and pressed a gentle kiss on Beatrix's forehead. "Shall we rise and shine, my princess?" he whispered, his warm breath brushing against her skin.

Beatrix chuckled softly, her heart fluttering at the endearment. "Yes, my knight. But I must admit, I'm feeling rather lazy this morning. Would you mind carrying me, just like a princess?" she teased, a mischievous glint in her eyes.

Rhys grinned, the idea immediately appealing to his playful nature. "Of course, my lady. It would be my utmost pleasure," he replied, his voice laced with excitement.

With a swift, graceful movement, Rhys slipped out of the bed and stood beside it, his strong arms outstretched. Beatrix giggled with delight, feeling a rush of anticipation as she extended her arms, allowing him to sweep her up effortlessly.
