Difference

In the Royal Library of the Seven Dragons Kingdom, Luo Chen was sitting alone in the corner with many books stacked near him. He sighed again, thinking of how much useless yet very important information he had gotten. Luo Chen thought, 'This world is definitely way more advanced than the one I used to live in, and the development is not just something that will happen with the passage of time or be created by Gods.'

The current world Luo Chen is living and the world he used to live had many differences. First, the world itself. Unlike this world, he used to live in one where there was void, there were dimensions in void, and there were many universes (multiverses) in the dimensions. There was an underworld too, but each universe had its own underworld; the world he was in had a single underworld for all.

'It was united.' is what Luo Chen thought.

Second, the power system was way different than the world he used to live in. The difference was like clouds and mud. The world had three ways of obtaining power: energy gathering, body transformation, and soul refinement. Energy gathering was the method Luo Chen used in his past life to obtain power.

Body transformation and soul refinement didn't exist in his world, but that didn't mean that there weren't people who used body transformation and soul refinement to obtain power. For example, the Primordial God of Soul was the only living person who used soul refinement. The other gods always found his techniques confusing. Even Luo Chen, after reincarnating, found out the way that the Primordial God of Soul obtained his power. But Luo Chen had already killed him, and there was no one else who knew about soul refinement. Another theory arose from Luo Chen's mind: was the world he was currently in outside the void and had existed far longer than the world he used to live in?

As for body transformation, there was not as much information about it as there was about soul refinement. So he cannot guess whether God has used it in the past. The only reason he was able to confirm that the Primordial God of Soul was obtaining his power from using soul refinement was because Luo Chen had experimented with the Primordial God of Soul for billions of years.

Still, the most common method for obtaining power was through energy gathering, not because it was easy compared to other methods but because body transformation was so painful and required so many resources that even after selling a whole universe, you would not get enough materials for more than two breakthroughs in mortal realms; only if one had a physique related to body transformation would one be able to make three or four breakthroughs in the same realm. And there was also a lack of techniques. The soul refinement also had quite the same reasons. It was way more complicated than energy gathering and body transformation; one might be able to use body transformation with enough resources, but soul refinement depended entirely on one's talent and ability to comprehend things. And there were few to no techniques related to soul refinement.

Third, in his last world, there were people who were talented in something other than cultivation. like Alchemist (Poison Alchemist also falls under the Alchemist) and Blacksmith. And that was all there was other than being a cultivator. (There were mortal jobs that ordinary people follow.) But in the world, there were two options other than alchemist and blacksmith. Two wouldn't sound like much, but those two were huge. They were people who practiced the art of making formations and inscriptions. Formation had many uses, like concentrating energy in a particular place or trapping an enemy. Inscription was even more important; they enhanced the capabilities of pills or potions created by alchemists or enhanced the weapons or items created by blacksmiths.

In the mansion, Luo Chen was walking towards his room; each step he took was near perfect; he also seemed to release a cold aura, and with his eyes as cold as ice and handsome face, even if someone wanted to see his handsome face, no one had the audacity to look at him.

Luo Chen thought 'I have to try to cultivate'

Even though his soul had been purified for some reason, he was still countless years away from helping or thinking of every person who passed by. He was still the Primordial God of Evil, but just less evil.

Luo Chen arrived in his room and lay in his bed. His room was the one where he had opened his eyes. He closed his eyes; he seems to be thinking of something. Soon enough, he opened his eyes, and his red eyes were still as cold as eyes. Series of thought were going from his mind.Luo Chen finally said in a low voice, "Let's take the risk. What will happen? At best, I will die and reincarnate with all my memories lost and be someone else with my memory not being able to recover; at worst, my soul will be destroyed, making me incapable of reincarnation for the rest of eternity."
