4 Contract!

A luxurious flying vessel-automobile in blue landed in the courtyard of a white mansion. Bobby and Director Kemino stepped out and entered the house. He brought Director Kemino to the guest room, where his uncle and aunt, Jeremy and Mia Bradford, were already waiting for them.

"Uncle Jeremy, Aunt Mia, this is my mentor, Director Kemino." Bobby introduced him to them.

"It's great, finally meeting you in person. I have heard so much about you! " Mia said with a warm smile.

"All good things, I hope!" Kemino responded.

"Do you mind coffee, Mr. Director?" Mia asked politely.

"Oh, I love it," Kemino replied.

"Mia, you go to the kitchen and prepare some coffee for our guest," Jeremy ordered.

"Wait, Bobby, what happened to your face? And where are your pair of glasses?" Mia spotted the bruises on his face and started asking a series of questions.

"Alright, help me in the kitchen." She said, and soon they left for the kitchen.

"What brings you here, Mr. Director? It's very unexpected. Also, Bobby mentioned nothing about bringing a guest today." Jeremy said.

"Oh, about that. I am here to discuss something about Bobby with you two. Bobby will be enlisted in the military this coming week." Director Kemino said, straight to the point.

"What do you mean? Mr. Director, please don't joke with me. We all know that Bobby is a Defect." Jeremy said with a chuckle.

"Mr. Jeremy, I am serious. Bobby will enlist in the military soon. He's a genius in Space Science and Technology and has already achieved many secret military accomplishments. One of the founders of the Johnson Military Corp, Mr. Gregaon, has already approached me to take him into his military company. Check this out. These are the agreements between me and him regarding his enlistment in the military." Director Kemino explained and gave him a thick envelope.

Jeremy tore the envelope and took out the booklet inside. As he read through it, he smiled and said, "Good lad, I'm so proud of you."

When Bobby and Mia came back with the coffee, Jeremy and Mia shared their excitement and gratitude with Director Kemino and gave him a formal bow.

"I'm glad you're happy with this news. Bobby is a valuable asset to the military and I know he will excel in his duties," Director Kemino said, smiling.

"Yes, we are proud of him and grateful for this opportunity," Jeremy replied.

"We have been worrying about his future. As a Defect, it's difficult for him to find a place in society," Mia added.

"That's why this is such a great opportunity for him," Director Kemino said, "I assure you, he will be well taken care of in the military and his talents will be utilized to the fullest."

"We trust in you, Mr. Director. Thank you for all your guidance and support for Bobby," Jeremy said.

"It's my pleasure. I have seen Bobby's potential from the start and I'm happy to see it being recognized by the military," Director Kemino said.

They all continued chatting and sipping their coffee, discussing Bobby's future in the military. Before long, it was time for Director Kemino to leave, and Jeremy and Mia thanked him again for all his help. Bobby walked him to his flying vessel-automobile, and they said their goodbyes.

As the vessel took off, Bobby couldn't help but feel a mix of emotions. He was excited about the opportunity to serve in the military, but also sad to be leaving his family behind. But he knew this was a step forward in his life, and that his uncle, aunt, and Director Kemino would always be there to support him.

After Director Kemino left, Mia screamed in excitement, "Hahaha! Next week, we all will go to the delta belt region and we will become filthy rich too. Hey my little sugar, don't you forget about your aunt when you become rich."

"Aunt, what are you talking about? To me, you two are my parents. So, it is natural that you will get a share of the guardian's salary. But what about my two cousins? It's been two weeks since I met with them. Will they not come with us?" Bobby replied honestly, as he also mentioned his two cousins.

"Don't worry about them. They are now in some parts of Europe doing some kind of government work there." Jeremy replied.

"We four, including Mar, will leave for the delta belt region. Bobby, she will be overjoyed if she has heard about this news." Mia said.

Jeremy approached him, checked on the multiple bruises on his face, and asked with a stern face, "Who did this to you?" 

To his surprise, Bobby dashed to his room and the door slammed!
