Chapter 5: The Dragon Tower

After the Entertaining practice session with some Disciples Nova decided to Challenge himself a bit. There was a place in the Golden Dragon Palace known as the Dragon Tower it had 100 Floors and was individually set up for everyone who enters it, no matter if it's Disciple, Elder, Sect Master or Outsiders everyone can enter it.

Nova over heared some Core Disciples discussing over it, so he decided to try it himself, because the normal Sect life bored him to death. Nova took Yue and bought her with him "Do you want a little Challenge?" She looked at him Suprised "What kind of Challenge?" Nova smiled and pointed at a big Tower in the Distance "How about we do a race who ever achieves to ascend the 100 Floors the Fastest gets a reward when you win just ask something doesn't matter what, I have to provide it for you if I win...well let's just say nothing really happens there is nothing you could possibly give me that would be good for me" Yue looked at him with a slight smirk "what if I can give you something that is gonna surprise you?" Nova Grinned and said "Than you get another reward from me but this time you can Choose 3 things that you want instead of one because it should be nearly impossible to win this for you" Yue laughed and said "Than I'm not gonna go easy on you hehe" Nova Smirked and said "I would have Punished you if you did"

Just Like that a little Rivalry was formed and the two rivals made their way towards the Golden Tower to start the compition "Ready?" Nova Asked "Ready" Yue Replied and both made their way towards the Entrance of the Tower, upon closer look there were a lot of Disciples outside the Tower.

Nova walked over to them and asked "Who is currently inside that you are all Standing here" The Disciple turned around with an annoyed expression on his face "Huh? Are you an idiot? it's obviously Senior-Apprentice Brother Gu" The Disciple saw Nova's face and had a Pale expression, he just offended the Prime Disciple of the Golden Dragon Palace, once the other Disciples saw who he was talking to, they gulped feeling an invisible pressure pressing down on them like the whole world was on their shoulders. "How did you call me?" Nova asked in a calm voice but for the others this sounded like the voice of the Devil himself.

The Disciple immediately knealed on the ground kowtowing to Nova "I-I'm s-sorry Senior-Apprentice Brother Nova this little one accidentally offended you please have mercy on me" he was begging with a pale expression on his face "You should think before you speak you can sigh in relieve that Nova isn't someone to kill you because of that" Yue said in a Cold tone "that doesn't mean that I'm gonna let you of the hook like that tough" Yue jumped down from Nova's Shoulder and approached him "As compensation you're gonna let us in next you are gonna make sure that no one disturbs us got it?"

"Y-Yes I'm gonna do my best thank you for your mercy Senior brother and little cat"once these words were uttered suddenly an Immense Pressure came down on everyone in a 100 meter distance "How did you just call me?" She had an extremely frightening expression on her face and spoke in a tone as cold as ice "I'M A DRAGON!!" She roared Immeadeatly Crushing some Disciples because of her immense Aura, Nova looked at this with an indifferent expression "That's enough Yue we're going look they are coming out" Yue had a Reluctant expression on her face but still agreed she couldn't disobey Nova's orders.

Nova made his way to the Entrance and Yue jumped back on his shoulders, Yue was still anraged but kept calm to not annoy Nova 'I'm gonna burn you to death if I see you next time' she thought with immense killing intent. Nova just calmly entered the Tower and placed his hand on a jade stone registering himself as a Player, Yue got the same because they are connected by soul.

Nova focused his attention on Yue and said "So now listen we are gonna place some rules because we both know we could just speedrun this tower if we seriously try so we are gonna Restrain ourself got it?" Yue nodded "Good than the first rule is we are not allowed to Cultivate during the stay inside the tower we need to Absorb beast cores if we want to ascend in Cultivation" Nova already scanned the Tower with his Chaotic Eyes so he knew everything about it.

The Tower based the Difficulty on Talent, both Nova's and Yue's Talent far surpasses anything the tower could measure so they are going to ascend this tower at the highest difficulty possible making it a bit more fun. This Tower also had quite a few surprises so to make it fair he told every single one to Yue "The Tower has quite a lot of surprises in Store I already know every single one of them trough my Chaotic eyes" Yue looked at him with a interested expression. Nova continued to explain all surprises to Yue and she had a shocked expression not expecting such things to exist inside the Tower.

Nova chuckled "So now that we are on the same Page let's put the restrictions on this challenge" he continued "The first one you already know cultivation during the stay or break is not allowed" Yue nodded "The Second one is we are not allowed to use any Martial, sword or whatever techniques we have to fight with out bare fists and initiate abilities like your Void Flames and my Supreme Martial God Ability's and obviously I'm not gonna use my sword" Nova looked at her with a mischievous grin and said "And the Last Restriction is we are going to do a all or nothing here we can only use one tenth of our Qi and that will increase with every ten floors so on the 100th Floor we are allowed to go all out" Yue was shocked at this Restriction because from what she heared the Tower is hard enough but restricting one's Qi Power and Output pretty much meant restricting one's Cultivation to the lowest of their current cultivation that's insane.

Still Yue grinned and said "ok I'm ready let's start!" Nova smiled and said "I like your spirit than good luck we are gonna enter Simultaneously" Nova walked into a small cabine and trough their soul connection they perfectly timed their entry.

They both got enveloped by a Yellow light and vanished from their position. They were in a pitch black space without anything around them floating in something that felt different than space because the Concepts of Time and Space itself didn't seem to Exist here.

A Male voice said to them in a Calm tone it didn't sound human but also not like a System or anything of that sort.
