Stardom country

The next morning, Charlie woke up and got down from. Like usual, he started his morning swordplay routine before washing up and got out of the room. He walked out of the Inn and stood at the entrance, flashing black to the incident that had happened there the previous day.

He shook his head and pushed it to the back of his mind. He was about to leave when he heard someone calling his name from behind him. Turning back,he saw Sophia running to him with her hand held out.

"You're really annoying, you know? You were heading out and didn't even call me to join you. And here I wad waiting for you". Angry,she chided him with a pout. Seeing her acting like that,he thought secretly that she was cute.

"Well, I thought you would be busy and wouldn't be heading out,so I decided not to call you. I'm sorry ".

"What could I possibly be busy with? I just wanted to not interrupt you or barge in. That's why I didn't come to your room this morning ".

Remembering how she barged in yesterday, he thought she might have been embarrassed and wanted to save face. He smiled by the thought and felt it was quite funny.

"Next time,just knock before coming in. It's not really a problem. Okay?" .

"Ok". She nodded and they left together,wandering about again.

"Hey,I want you a question. Can I". Charlie asked hesitantly.

"Sure,ask away". She said casually while playing with a necklace that she asked Charlie to get for her.

"So,umm..let's head back to the Inn. It's too crowded here". He said. Sophia felt her heart beating rapidly in her chest.

'Does he want to ask me to be his girlfriend. Oh no!! What do I do now? Should I say yes? I'm so confused '

'But I feel like he's not bad. Also,he's handsome and manly. Plus, he's got the cool guy look. But,what if he wants to...Ahhh! What am I thinking?'. Her thoughts were jumbled as they went back.

Getting to his room, he closed the door and they sat at the bed. Sophia felt nervous as she twirled her hair and lowered her face.

"I want to ask you I feel is very important to me and please Sophia, don't ever tell anyone,ok?" He said in all seriousness.

"I won't ". With her head still lowered,she felt her heart was about to jump our off her chest.

"Tell me,what do you know about martial spirits? I mean,how does one tell that it is special?".

"Yes, I'll be your...huh?" Only then did she realise that Charlie only wanted to ask her questions related to cultivation. She was a little relieved but mostly disappointed.

"Umm.. not much actually. But I do know that they are grouped into different types. Beasts types consists of like wolves,lions,tigers e.t.c. Weapon types like swords,shields,sabers, spears .e.t.c. Also,there are the element types like fire,water,wind e.t.c.

"Those are the few types I know. According to what my uncle told me,there are a few other types that are rare and not commonly seen. They are as power as they are rare. I hope this could be useful ti you. I'm tired,I'll be going to my room to rest". She got up and left the room.

Having nothing to do and the day being early,he decided to practice more. He slept after finishing his training.

The days went by and soon, it was two weeks before tue star region sect recruitment and the group decided it was time to leave. They packed their belongings and got everything they felt they needed before leaving the city. The journey would normally take half a month before getting to the venue but they decidd to head there early. They traveled through different terrains and topography before managing to get to stardom country.

"We made it. And we're still for days early. Like this,we can rest well before the event starts". Sophia siad ad they passed the gate entrance.

"Even though this is stardom country, it is immensely bigger than any of the other cities. In fact,it's a few times bigger than stardust city. That's why it's the capital of the star region.

"The population of the country numbers about a hundred million per head". Sophia gave detailed description of the city as they wlaked in.

"It is divided into different parts or rather different states. They are the northern state,the southern star,the Eastern and the western state that surrounds the central state.

The central state could be considered as he inner part and where the rich and powerful reside. The event will be held in the central state. Usually, it would be difficult to enter,but people would be allowed entrance on the day of the recruitment.

"We should probably find a place to stay for the next few days. We probably won't be allowed entry before the event". As they went about to find an Inn,they could see people around their ge moving about as well. They walked about a strolled in groups or individually.

All sorts of people of different backgrounds could be seen. Some were well dressed,clear from wealthy families. Some were dressed averagely. While others were dressed moderately. The wealthy ones old be seen with their entourage as they staggered about.

'All this people should be here for the recruitment also. And from what Sophia said,they only have a limited numbers of people whi would be accepted. It won't be as easy as i thought it would be . That means if my dragon martial spirit isn't enough, then I'll need to reveal my other martial spirit '. The multitude of people he saw caused him to be worried. As if seeing through him,Sophia smiled and held his hand.

"There's no need to be worried. Everyone would need to go through a test. They younger you are the better. Some people awakening lately,making them a with slight of being accepted. They prioritise younger people as they have the most potential for growth. You would definitely be selected. I'm sure of it".

"Yeah,I feel do too. Hopefully, we'll be able to get In".

"Let's get some rest. It's been a long journey ". Sophia said with a smile.

After her earlier disappointment, she realised maybe it was too early for her to think about such things. After all,they haven't met for long so maybe waiting a little longer wouldn't be bad. Also,she might be wrong.

'Maybe he doesn't even think of me like that. He might only be thinking of as only a friend '. The thought of Charlie not being interested in her made her feel sad.

'Hmph.. this young mistress would make you fall head over heels in love with her'. She encouraged herself and felt happier.

Meanwhile, George O'brien and his entourage got to stardom country. They practically were on the other side of the star region, making it the farthest from the venue.

"Finally, we made it. We can even gey a few days rest as well. I guess all thise days without rest made it worth it" . He said happily as they got inside through the east gate which was the entrance to the Eastern state. They git to an Inn and booked a room,after which they rested.

One day later,Chu Feng cane in through East gate as well,not knowing that Georg was in the same state. Even though they were friends from the same city,they had become rivals due to their circumstances. They would have to compete to become sect disciples .

Gradually, the stardom country was getting mire crowded as the days went by, causing traffics all over the country. Seeing all of this happen,the mayor of the stardom country had to send his guards to control the traffic which reduced but more people were still coming in so he decided to that no entry was allowed till after the star regional sect recruitment was over.

The order was carried out and the people who gmhad traveled long distances were told to return. The only exemptions were the participants.

"We should go and sign up now. Registration will be be over by tomorrow ".
