How Disgraceful

Mu Qinglan stared at the white-clad figure in slight puzzlement. Why was Yun Yi here?

They had agreed to wait for her to solve the matter here before talking about the Vermilion Bird. Yun Yi had an obviously proud and indifferent personality, so he wouldn't be willing to get involved in messy matters like this.

Why did he suddenly appear?

Yun Yi's footsteps were light, but his movements were swift. In the blink of an eye, he had already arrived in front of Mu Qinglan.

Everyone in the courtyard was puzzled, and they all looked at the strange boy in white who had appeared suddenly, but they all kept quiet.

Mu Yan immediately took a step forward, his face grave as he spoke in a firm voice, "Who are you?!"

Yun Yi raised an eyebrow slightly, but he merely spared Mu Yan a faint glance.

In Yun Yi's jet-black eyes, there was not a hint of emotion in them.

It was as though he thought an ant like Mu Yan was not worth his time.

Mu Qinglan asked curiously, "Why are you here?" 

Yun Yi glanced at her, and Mu Qinglan broke out into cold sweat instantly, swallowing the rest of her words back down into her stomach.

Immediately after, she heard Yun Yi's cold voice speak right next to her ear, "How disgraceful." 

He was obviously talking about her.

Mu Qinglan was even more confused. Disgraceful? Who had she disgraced?

Naturally, she wasn't aware that Yun Yi had watched the entire proceedings in the courtyard from afar.

Yun Yi had once regarded this person as a strong opponent, yet now he had been reduced into being insulted by such worthless ants. Somehow, it made Yun Yi inexplicably angry on the inside.

The fact that Mu Linghan always had a carefree look on his face that said he didn't care much also made Yun Yi feel even more irritated.

At the end of the day, when Yun Yi said Mu Qinglan was disgraceful, he meant that she had disgraced Yun Yi.

However, Yun Yi was obviously not bothered to explain this to her. Right now, he walked past Mu Qinglan and continued forward.

This person was obviously Mu Linghan's helper, and Mu Ye was naturally hostile to him.

At these words, Yun Yi paused in his steps, then turned his head to finally look at Mu Ye.

Mu Qinglan silently said a prayer for Mu Ye.

The faces of everyone in the courtyard changed immediately!

Mu Yan felt his chest tighten, then he stepped forward and waved his hand. A wave of powerful Yuan Energy burst forth, trying to dissipate the impact caused by Yun Yi's Yuan Energy, only to find that his efforts were equivalent to using an egg to hit a rock! Completely pointless!

He even felt his internal organs squeezing together, suffocating him incredibly!

How could he not understand this? The strength of this young man who had suddenly appeared was probably way above theirs!

Mu Yan hurriedly said, "Your Excellency, let's talk! Please don't hurt any of my Mu family members!" 

Yun Yi acted as though he had not heard anything.

Mu Ye's situation was even more serious as his face turned purple, his eyes wide open. He looked as though he was being strangled, but he couldn't move freely at all!

Mu Qinglan had no doubt that the people here would end up seriously injured or dead if this continued.

"Yun Yi." Mu Qinglan called out. "This is my business, I can handle it myself." 

Yun Yi's gaze landed on her. "You have the time to leisurely deal with this, but I don't." 

Mu Qinglan startled for a moment, then snorted lightly. 

She just knew this kid wasn't the kind to reach out a helping hand. As expected, it was because Yun Yi wanted to settle the matter with the Vermillion Bird quickly. 

Yun Yi continued looking at Mu Yan, then spoke in a cold voice, "Just a Tier 6 Yuan Core is nothing. But, as far as my understanding goes, taking first place with it is incontestable. Are you saying you can't even distinguish this fact?" 

With such a naturally condescending tone, Mu Yan didn't dare to refute Yun Yi's words at all, and could only nod his head. "Yes, Your Excellency is right. That is indeed a Tier 6 Yuan Core, and since Linghan retrieved it, he will naturally be first in the family trial! With Your Excellency's testimonial, we naturally do not doubt it now. Yun Yi, however, was unmoved. 

Mu Yan then turned his head to beg Mu Qinglan, "Linghan, you came in first this time, there is no dispute about it! You're also a member of the Mu family, do you really want to do this to your own family?" 

Then, seemingly realizing something, he hurriedly continued, "The personal grudge between you and Mu Ye can be settled between yourselves, there is no need to involve everyone."

"Yun Yi, thank you very much. I will solve the matter with Mu Ye myself. As for the others, they really aren't involved." 

Yun Yi turned to look at Mu Qinglan, and their eyes met.

After a moment, Yun Yi nodded and said, "In that case, I have done more than required." 

Having said that, he retracted his hand, and the terrifying, dense pressure finally dissipated!

Some of the people's faces had turned pale, while some were still coughing up a fresh wave of blood. The entire courtyard was in a mess.

Mu Ye was naturally in a more miserable state. There was blood seeping out from his body, his breathing was short and heavy, and he was obviously severely injured.

However, no one dared to say a word about it.

It was unexpected that Yun Yi would be willing to help her, but Mu Qinglan would now have less trouble with him showing his face here.

Yun Yi was about to say something, when his expression shifted slightly and he looked towards Nine Foot Mountain Range.

"I have to leave first. I will return in a few days to retrieve my things." 

Just as he finished speaking, his figure flashed and he disappeared on the spot!

Mu Qinglan raised her eyebrows.

She hadn't even promised to return it…

Mu Yan finally couldn't hold back as he opened his mouth to ask, "Linghan, what exactly is your relationship with that person?!"

Mu Linghan actually had such a person to help him? If so, how did Mu Linghan end up in such a pathetic situation in the first place?

Mu Qinglan spoke lazily, "My creditor." 

Mu Yan wanted to ask further, but Mu Qinglan changed the topic and said, "Master Mu Yan, can I have the reward for placing first in the family trial?" 

She turned her gaze to look at Mu Ye, who was still shriveled up at the side, and her lips curled up in a smile.
