Chapter four

It was the day of the wedding of Ndeye and Moha but also the one of Coumba and Mahmoud. As the party was in full swing, Ma'Khady, who had just arrived, almost forgotten by the others since she fort refused to come, went straight away after greeting a few people to a remote corner of the room where no one could see her before calling out to one of the waiters. He was holding a tray with three glasses of juice on it. Smiling, she subtly poured a strange powder into one of the glasses before taking it in her right hand and another in the other. Then she motioned to the waiter to follow her, and came to them, Ndeye and Moha, to whom she handed the poisoned glass and the untouched one respectively, before taking the last one left on the tray and asking to drink with them. And as we already know they accepted, far from suspecting anything bad or evil to happen on this happy day let alone with the fact of being poisoned.
