Aurora's Pov

It's time for detention and honestly I'm tired of it and we haven't even gotten to half of the one year detention. I haven't been to detention since the fight and if I could, I won't ever go back there again. I'm on my way to the classroom which our detention is normally held with Eva beside me. Lilith said she had something to take care of, so she couldn't come with us while Hydra normally goes with her mate since he normally escorts her to and from her classes and detention as well. Their relationship almost makes me wish for a mate, Keyword "almost". Since we started walking to the classroom, Eva hadn't utter a single word which is so unlike her. She did say she had a lot on her mind, I wonder what could be bothering her.

"What's wrong" I questioned staring at her.

She looked hesitant at first but simply replied "Nothing".

"Common spill it out, what is bothering you". I persuaded.

"You know that we would be going on a two month break in about two to three weeks from now? It's nothing important just that I.... I.. I don't want to go back home" she stammered out with much difficulty looking uncomfortable.

"Why?" I asked even though I already have an idea as to why she doesn't want to go back home.

"I'm scared Aurora" she opened up looking sad.

"Scared of what?" I Questioned now a little bit confused.

"I'm scared i won't be allowed to come back, I'm scared of getting married to that prince". She revealed fearfully. "I have been thinking about it alot lately and I'm really scared. What if... W.w.hat if... He kills me, just so he doesn't have to get married to me".

"You're just over thinking all these, nothing of such will happen and if you don't want to go back home, then it's fine you don't have to go. You can go back home with me, I'm sure my parents won't mind and there are a lot of rooms in the castle" I suggested.

Some seconds later she replied "No, I wouldn't want to bother you and your family".

"You won't be a bother" I tried to reassure but she didn't want to listen, she just kept shaking her head No. "Ok fine if you won't go with me back home, then you can stay back at the school. Maybe later after detention or few days to our break, we will ask principal Demitrey for permission so you can stay back at the school".

"You'll do that for me?" She asked softly.

Smiling slightly, I replied, "that's what friends are for". She instantly pulled me into a tight hug.

"Thanks" she whispered.

"You're welcome". We were soon at the door of the classroom and I just stood at the door glaring at it. I didn't want to go in but I knew I had no other choice than to go in.

"Aren't you coming in" Eva asked as she walked into the class.

"Do I have a choice?" I muttered before stepping into the classroom.

Looking around i saw amber and her brother seated together and seems like they were having a serious conversation based on their facial expression, the lion shifters were also seated with a bored expression on their faces, hydra and her mate were both staring at each other with lovey-dovey eyes. Seems like everyone in the group has already arrived excluding Lilith. Eva and I then took our seat leaving one more seat close to us which Lilith is supposed to occupy. Shortly after, Amber sashayed towards us and sat on the empty seat close to me.

"Hello ladies" she said with a smirk on her face.

Eva and i turned to look at her, "what do you want?" Eva asked her in an annoyed tone.

"Woah calm down, what crawled up your ass Ariel?" Amber answered still with that annoying smirk on her face almost cracking a smile when Eva cringed at the name Amber called her. I think i have come to the conclusion that this vampire loves getting on people's nerves. I think that's her hobby.

"A stupid dumb vampire that's what" Eva replied glaring at her.

"Go away Amber" i said to her.

"Ouch" she placed her hand on her chest faking hurt. Talk about drama queen. "I'm hurt aurora, i thought we were friends".

"Friends? Yh right" Eva muttered with an eye roll.

"Wasn't talking to you blondie" Amber answered her.

"Move" we heard a voice say and i instantly recognized the voice as Lilith's. I didn't even realize when she entered the class.

"Or?" Amber turned to look at her.

"Or..." Lilith moved closer to her with a sweet smile on her face "I'll be forced to help you move"

With a sweet smile on her face matching that of Lilith, Amber replied "i have the right to sit wherever i like, the seats in this school doesn't belong to anybody and not like you brought the seats while coming from your house, so you have no right to tell me to stand up from any seat. And after all i was here before you, and no seat was appointed to a specific individual. And with that said i will advise you go take another seat, because if this breaks out into a fight you'll be the one to be blamed and als...".

"Arghhh, would you shut your garbage hole already, don't you even get tired of speaking so many bullshit, I'm sick and tired of your words so just shut the fuck up. All i want is for you to get your ass up from that seat and find another one, or else.." Lilith cut her off before she completed what she was saying.

"Wait a minute weren't you listening to all i have been saying " Amber cut her off looking pissed.

"I want you to know that I heard what you were saying perfectly. It’s just that I don’t really give a shit". Lilith replied.

"Well I'll also have you know that i also heard what you said about me moving to another seat but I also don't give a shit". Amber retorted.

"Uhm... i think you should just take this empty seat here since she first you, so you guys wouldn't get us into any more trouble then we already are in" the Angel piped in addressing Lilith and boy if looks could kill the poor boy would've been dead and decaying by now.

"Yh i think you should listen to his holiness over there" Amber replied.

"It's Raphael actually" the Angel replied.

"I honestly don't care" Amber sassed.

"You know you guys should just stop already, Raphael is right,we already have a year of detention, if another fight breaks out who knows what kind of punishment we would be given so please Lilith just take another seat" Sabrina pleaded.

"Fine but I'm not doing this for any of you but for myself, because I don't want to have any more detention with you all, one year is enough" Lilith said before taking the empty seat next to Raphael with her eyes throwing daggers at him which made him shift uncomfortably in his seat.

After some time principal Demitrey walked into the classroom.

"I have a proposal for you all" he went straight to the point. "Ok so at this point, I think we all have established the fact that you can't stand each other, stepping on each others toes, getting on each others nerves and trying to slit each others throat, I've had enough. I know i said you all will get an entire year of detention, as a result of failure to do as asked, but if only three months of detention could lead to such a fight...." He paused staring at Amber and I. "I wonder what else would happen if this goes on, who knows maybe one of you might actually succeed in slitting the other's throat". Is he saying what i think he is saying.

Staring at our faces he added "don't get too excited, what I was trying to say is that my order still stand, by order I mean you all are still required to learn more about yourselves and learn how to cooperate because you all will remain in the groups you've been designated to till you graduate. So like I was saying I decided to reconsider my decision about the one year detention. So instead of one year i decided to reduce it. We have less than a month left before our break, so if you all can get to know each other and learn to cooperate with each other before the break, then you'll be free from the one year detention".

He continued "So a day before the day you go on your break, you'll all give me your presentation about each other and i would then decide if you've all really learnt about each other and so you know, I will be keeping a close watch on you all to ensure you all are cooperating with each other. And this time around if you fail to meet my expectations then the one year detention stands no matter how much you all can't stand each other, I wouldn't even care if you all start attacking each other".

"I believe I have been generous enough" and with that said he walked out of the class leaving us to our own thoughts. Well at least that's a good thing if we do as requested, then when coming back after the break we wouldn't have any more detention.

After he left nobody uttered a single word till detention was over and everyone started leaving the classroom. With this nonchalant attitude from everyone I think it's certain and fair enough to say that the one year detention is going to stand. So much for being happy about the proposal.

Getting to our room, Lilith walked straight into the bathroom ignoring my presence totally. It seems like she's mad at me over something, i have no idea what that could be. I then move to my bed after picking up one of my favorite books laying on my bed reading the book. After a while Lilith came out, after getting dressed she sat on her bed glaring at me. About thirty minutes later she was still glaring at me, i decided to ask her what she's mad about.

Sitting up right i asked "why are you staring at me like that? What did I do?".

"Wrong question" she replied.

"Huh?" I asked confused.

"The question should be what didn't you do, and I'll tell you what you didn't do" she continued "you didn't stand up for me or at least support me when Amber was picking on me".

"Picking on you?" I giggled. "She wasn't exactly picking on you, and I didn't say anything because I assumed you had things under control, but if that's why you're mad, then I'm sorry, next time I'm going to support you no matter what. And it's not like she was wrong about what she told you" I whispered the last bit to myself. She seemed please with my apology.

"Good anyways what time is it?" She asked.

Looking at my alarm clock besides my bed i realized we had less than an hour before dinner.

"7:20" I replied her going back to my book.

"Aren't you going to get ready for dinner?" She questioned.

"Nope, I'm not going I'm feeling very tired and I'm not even hungry so no need. It is after all going to end with you and Sabrina constant bickering with Amber, so no thank you".

"Sure" she replied. After sometime I noticed it was some minutes past 8.

"It's 8 already" I told her while entering the bathroom.

"Oh, ok I'm going already" she replied.

"Yh sure I'm just going to have my shower and sleep because I'm feeling very tired".

"Ok" she said after which I heard the door being shut.

After getting out of the bathroom and getting dressed I slumped into my bed tiredly and tried to sleep. After a long time of tossing and turning on my bed without getting any sleep, I got frustrated. I'm feeling very tired but then I try sleeping but then again that's like impossible, do you know how frustrating that is. After some minutes of trying to get some sleep again and not getting any, i decided to take a walk outside the school.
