The School Bell Rings….

Cassidy: Are you sure you're okay?

Conner: Yeah, Im fine

Cassidy: I know what I saw

Cassidy: You had a bite mark in your shoulder and you were barely breathing

Dominic: Cassidy, You two were drinking…..

Cassidy: I had one drink, Dominic…..

She says aggressively

Dominic: Whatever you say

He says sarcastically

Cassidy: I'm serious….

Connor: Can we just drop it?

Connor: We're going to be late….

He walks off and head to class

Connor walks in and take a seat and Cassidy and Dominic follows behind him

Summer walks in and takes a seat

Connor turns around and looks at Summer

Summer smiles and waves

Connor face turns serious and turns back around

The bell rings and Connor walks towards the door

Cassidy: So are you guys playing football this year?

Connor: Yeah

Dominic: We are making Varsity this year though!

He says confidently

Cassidy laughs

Summer: Connor!

Connor: You guys go ahead I'll catch up with you

Connor walk towards Summer

Summer: Hey…..

Connor: Yeah?

Summer: Did I do something?

Connor: Is there something you need?

Summer smiles goes away

Summer: I was going to ask you did you and Cassidy want to come with me and Aaron to the drive-in

Connor face turns serious and he walks away

Summer: Wait! What's wrong?

Connor: What's wrong?

He says rhetorically

Connor: I can name a few things that wrong with me

Connor: You just asked me to hang out with the person I hate the most

Connor: Another thing is the fact you two are all of suddenly dating and you could do better than him

Summer: I thought you and Cassidy had something going on….

Connor: What?.... Why would you think anything like that

Summer: Have you seen the way she looks at you? The way she acts around you?

Summer: Ofcourse you dont because all you boys never understand hints

Connor looks in disbelieve

Aaron: Summer!

Summer turns around

Summer: Look….. I got to go so I will see you later

Summer walks towards Aaron and wraps his arm around her and they walk away

School ends and Connor and the others leave the building

Connor: Dominic can me and Cassidy talk…. Alone?

Dominic: Sure but dont be talking about me

Dominic: Call me later

He laughs and walks off

Cassidy: What's wrong?

Cassidy: Is this about the other night?

Connor: No….

Connor: So tonight is a drive-in movie at Kent Park

Connor: You want to go?

Cassidy: With Dominic?

Connor: Um… No just me and you

Cassidy: OH… Um Ye- Yes that would be nice

Connor: So I'll pick you up around 8?

Cassidy: Uh…. Ok

She says with a huge smile

A few hours pass…..

Connor is in the mirror fixing his hair

Connor Mom: Hey Champ

Connor Mom: So a date with Cassidy huh?

Connor Mom: I knew it would happen sooner than later

Connor: It's not a date, were hanging out as FRIENDS

Connor Mom: Whatever you say

Connor: So mom….

Connor Mom: What do you need…

Connor: Can I borrow the car?

She pulls out her keys

Connor Mom: Since it's your first date, I will let you BUT….

She grabs them back

Connor Mom: There will be rules to it

Connor Mom: Be Home By 12….

Connor Mom: Don't do anything inappropriate

Connor Mom: Understand?

Connor: Mom….

Connor Mom: UNDERSTAND?

Connor: ... Yes….. I understand

Connor Mom: Good

She tosses him the keys

Connor: You're the best!

Connor heads start to spin and it start aching

Connor: AHHHH

He grabs his head

He hears his mom in the other room

Connor Mom: He has a date…..

Connor looks at the time and it says 7:45

Connor: I'm late…..

Connor grabs his stuff and runs out the door

Connor: Love you mom….

He's in a blue minivan

He pulls up to Cassidy house

Cassidy opens the door and kisses her dad and walks out the door

She has a ocean blue dress on and blue heels

She walks to the car with a smile

He gets out of the car

Connor: Hey...

Cassidy: Hey

Connor opens the passenger door for her and she gets in then he walks back to the driver seat and gets in

Connor: You look- Great…..

Cassidy: Thanks

She says with a smile

They arrive at the drive in movie and parks their car

He opens the back trunk and the trunk has blankets and pillows with a cooler inside it

Cassidy: Look who prepared

Connor: I was bored…..

She smiles

Connor: What?....

Cassidy: I'm just….. Happy

Cassidy: The happiest I've been in a while

Cassidy: After I lost my mom….. I was in a dark place

Connor: And that's why you got me and Dominic

They both smile

Aaron: Well look who it is

Connor: What do you want Aaron….

Aaron has his arm wrapped around Summer

Summer: Hey guys…..

Cassidy gains a angry look on her face

Cassidy: Imma go get us some food

She storms off

Aaron: So you two a thing now?

Aaron: So you just take my leftovers now huh?

Connor: It's not even like that

Aaron: Whatever

He laughs and walks off

Summer: Hey I'll catch up with you

Aaron: Don't be long….

He walks off

Summer: What happened to you not coming?

Connor: She dragged me here

Connor: Is there something you need?

Summer: Connor, We met a week ago and you two already giving me the cold shoulder and I just don't know what I did wrong

Connor: Your with the guy we tried to warn you about

Connor: Of Course your getting the-

Connor starts to feel the headaches again and his head start to spin again

Connor: AHHHH

He says while he grabs his head

His teeth become sore and he start to grow fangs

Summer: Connor are you okay?

Connor: I got to go….

He tries to run off but he cant run so he walks towards the woods

Connor: AHHHHHH

He hits the ground and stands on his knees

Connor finger nails start to grow

Then his facial hair grows and he becomes a little more hairy

Connor: AHHHHH

Connor looks up and his eyes become a yellow

Connor roars

The next day...

He wakes up in his bed

Connor: What happened….

Connor Mom wakes up in the chair next to him

Connor Mom: Hey honey…. Your finally woke

Connor: How long- how long was I out for?

Connor Mom: 3 Days…

Connor jumps out the bed

Connor: I need to check on Dominic and-

Connor Mom: Cassidy- She umm

Connor: What- Oh no…..

Connor: She probably hates me now….

He grabs his phone and calls Cassidy

The phone goes to voicemail

He texts her

"Hey Cassidy, can we talk in person?"

She responds with "Sure, Meet me at the spot"

He grabs his stuff and grabs his bike and takes off

He arrives at a church and heads to the rooftop

Connor: Hey….

Cassidy: Hey….

Connor: I'm sorry for just bailing on you

Cassidy: No I completely understand

Connor: So what are we?

Cassidy: Friends. Right?

Connor face turns upset

Cassidy: Look…. We've been best friends since we could talk…

Cassidy: And I cant let that end over some stupid crush phase

Connor laughs

Cassidy: I'm a teenage girl so I don't know what I want

Cassidy: But what I do want is my best friend back…

Tears come from Cassidy eyes and she smiles

Connor smiles and they both hug

Connor: I love you…

Cassidy: I love you too

Back at Conner house

Connor looks at sports magazines

Connor heads start to ache again and it starts to spin

His fangs grow out and his eyes change colors

Connor lamp falls off the dresser and he screams

Connor Mom: CONNOR?

She walks upstairs to his room and opens the door

Connor Mom: Connor?-

She sees Connor transformed

Connor Mom has a disbelief and scared look on her face

Connor: GET OUT AND RUN

Connor Mom: OH MY GOD CONNOR

Connor: PLEASE RUN NOW!

She runs out the door and get in her car

He runs outside to catch her and she pulls off

Connor Mom dialed 911

Connor Mom: MY SON NEED HELP PLEASE!
