"Heyyy what was that for?" said Junior "You have to wake up right now...we're almost late for class and you're still on the bed, remember you're on the school's watch list after your bust up with Blake yesterday" Ashley said to him.

"Yeah, I'll freshen up in a moment, then we'll get going" Junior said as he stood up and began to prepare for training "No, I think you mean you'll freshen up and then you'll get going cus I'm not getting on the naughty list on my first day of school" Josh said with a smirk.

"Suit yourself" said Junior as he began to head to the Bathroom...."Now I'll just have to figure out how to use these things sometime sooner than later cause they are unlike nothing I have ever seen" He thought to himself but soon reversed his chain of thoughts to the item or object or perhaps even being (as it seemed pretty much alive) that caused him to be here and in this situation "Well I'm no longer as clueless as before as I've a little debrief of some thing....Such as what the purpose of the system is or what the system is even meant for.

"The Pilot System is in existence for the sole purpose of breeding the most powerful warrior in existence who had transcended his mortal limitations and gained godhood" said Reginald who Junior assumed to be the system AI interface.

"Good luck with that as this boy here is no warrior and is definitely not the Immortal you're looking for...all those talks about gods and demons and all that are all mumbo jumbo...and I'm not bowing to no one or nothing" Junior retorted while standing in the Virtual plane created by the system for the purpose of explaining a few topics to Junior.

"If I am not meant to guide you on your path to Godhood then why don't you explain your new body, or how you got to the future or how you beat up that dude earlier today because we both know he's definitely going to mug you off on any other day"

"Yeah now that you put it that way kind of makes sense..but just hold on how come you're the one asking me those questions, I'm meant to be asking you...isn't that why we are have this whole discussion"

Junior shook his head in shame as he figured out that the system was already giving power a form of worship which went against everything he's always believed in.

"Whatever you say" said Junior "But I'm still confused, how am I meant to grow stronger or transcend my 'mortal' limitations and all that?" said Junior skeptically.

"Well the most prevalent weapons in this period we are machines known as Mechs, and once your ability of piloting and controlling machines grow to an extent...you will evolve into a greater soldier known as expert pilot".the system explained to Junior...Then Junior asked immediately "so you're saying all I need to do is to evolve into this expert pilot and then I'll be good enough and free from your influence, that shouldn't be so difficult I guess ""You are wrong" the system immediately corrected Junior "your train of thought is not that of a warrior but that of a wimp,being an expert pilot is only the first step in a long and perilous journey" the system said to Junior "Then what are you trying to say then"

But he got no response from the system.He asked again and again repeatedly from the system but all he got was silence...He was about to forget about the system and all when he got a notification from the system.

"Once you complete missions and quests, you'll receive lottery cards...but the quality of the card varies depending on the difficulty of the mission, as a bonus you'll receive a platinum card for free for you being a New User"..."Great, I guess the platinum card would be worth something good then" said Junior as he tapped on platinum card on display...It displayed a dramatic effect and then showed a little dog.

"CONGRATULATIONS YOU'VE WON A COMPANION DOG"

"What? a dog...seriously you gave me a virtual dog? Junior said in protest "what use is a dog on my so called journey to immortality...I thought I was meant to get assistance from you so as to become the greatest warrior in existence ?...I never thought I was going to take care of pets... mean I was expecting something like a cool gun or some kind of suit like those one's I watch in Scifi movies...or perhaps even that mech stuff you've been telling me all about, but then you give me none of those things and then what I get is a dog...seriously? " said Junior in Annoyance.

"Perhaps you do not see the usefulness of this item...but it has a lot of importance though...for instance it can take a physical form,it is a great instrument for fighting hacking into security database and even has the ability to evolve so as to not become redundant while the owner grows". said the system "and all you have to do to summon it physically is just think about it".

"Alright then whatever you say as far as you aren't trying to deceive me or anything like that" said Junior.

"Damn I'll have to forget about all these and head off to class...I can't be late on my second day" Junior said as he rushed to class.

While at Class-

"Now today, we're going to be talking about the basics of Martial Arts and we're going to be discussing a term on it called Qi" the instructor said to the students" Now who's gonna volunteer as a demonstration" said the instructor but no one came forward.

" In that case then I wil have to pick someone forward myself...You" she points at Junior" come forward.

"Oh shit...what do I always have to be in the spotlight, can't I lay low for a while he said to himself"...He said to himself
