Embarrassment

"Sir, look, this woman is creating a scene here." The salesgirl immediately tried to put the blame on Amaia. 

"I saw this necklace first, and I want to buy it, but your employee is behaving rudely. She's trying to sell the necklace I want to someone else just because she's a regular here. This is how you treat your customers." Amaia quickly explained the situation to the manager. 

"Sir look. I'm not sure if that card is hers. It has a man's name written on it. Look, Adriann Levinson. We don't know if she's stolen it or not. Shouldn't we verify first before selling such an expensive piece of jewellery?" The salesgirl quickly showed the card to the manager before twisting the story to save herself. She couldn't lose her job for that roadside woman.

"What the fuck are you saying? Have you lost your mind?" Amaia snapped in anger.
