An Nuan accompanied her family members while pretending as if she had not listened to her mother and elder brother's conversation earlier that day.
She put a smile on her face and chatted with them over dinner.
Later, her elder brother took his family of three to return to their house, leaving An Nuan and her elders.
Her grandparents retreated to their bedroom early and her father went back to his study to deal with some documents.
Seeing that her mother was watching television, An Nuan decided to join her. She sat beside her mother on the large sofa and lay her head on her mother's thigh.
Shi Xi chuckled when she saw her daughter. She played with An Nuan's hair and smiled. "What is it? Why are you suddenly acting sticky to me?"
"Mom, just let me lay here for a while." An Nuan flashed a smile before closing her eyes, seemingly enjoying her mother's touch.
