nicos pov:

I stood In my father's office waiting for my beta or well, his beta soon to be mine to come in so we could patrol the boarders,my father talked about my mum nonstop since she came back from the pack doctor. it was honestly annoying I'd rather be with my friends or even sleeping right now, I sighed just as beta Lucifer came in. Asher my wolf howled something, weird I thought. you know Lucifer is taller than me and I didn't like that one but but there's nothing I can do, he was looking at my mum with a small smile on his face,

"beta" my dad's said sternly, his head snapped towards my father,

"yes alpha?"

"I need you to escort Nico on boarder patrol" I groaned but walked towards the door as he mutters a yes alpha, with that we where out the door and on our way towards the woods, we both shifted his wolf larger than mine? I stared at him in awe he looked wow.. his big fluffy dark brown body with dark and light markings all over, just amazing. I was a simple her black wolf with white spots and markings covering me, we ran towards the woods to start our 4 hour run around the boarders.

we jogged back to the pack house shifting as soon as we hit the front yard, I couldn't help but glance at him, his caramel skin glistening with sweat is perfect ripped body, his tones abs, that v-line, holy shit he's huge, I couldn't help but stare hopefully he didn't notice.

Lucifers pov:

once we shifted I began to dry myself off and slip my clothing back on, I was confused but I cought him staring at me after I shifted, he was pretty fit but not compared to me, not that I'm bragging or anything but I have been working on my body for years, my sweaty curly hair drooping in my face I grimaced, ew.. he's lucky his hair is long enough he could tie the top half back, honestly it's kinda hot when he does that- shit not again.. lina the pack whore who rejected her mate so she could continue sleeping around with people came running up pushing her breasts up smiling her toothy smile, I glanced at her in disgust, I pray to the moon goddess I don't get mate like her.
