The struggle to Survive (Rewrite)

A young man awoke from his sleep to find that he was no longer in the hospital. Confused, he tried to figure out what was going on. Where was he? Why did the doctors move him? But those thoughts quickly faded as he realized he could breathe normally again. He was brimming with joy, unaware that he had lost everything dear to him. The story follows young Masaharu Musashi as he tries to survive in the world of Bleach. Disclaimer: I don't own the anime or any characters in it. Only my OC. I hope you enjoy it.

[Four Days Later]

(Narrator's POV)

The man entered the shack and saw the bound boy inside, covered in scars and burns. With every step the man took, the boy flinched. It was strange to him that the boy had endured this long; he had thought by now he would be lifeless. But the boy still clung to existence.

The man smiled and said, "Princess, today I have something special for you." As soon as the boy heard his voice, he trembled and remained silent. The man briefly left, knowing the boy wouldn't attempt anything. He took some needles and a chair with him. As he returned to the shack, his smile grew bigger with each step, revealing several needles and the chair he carried. Upon entering the shack, the boy lay there trembling. The man untied him and seated him on the chair, securing him in place. The boy offered no resistance, only shaking in fear.

As the man tied him up, the boy had only one thought in his mind, "Please, let this hell stop." The man pulled out a needle and smiled at Musashi. "Don't worry, princess, this method will only hurt a little," he said playfully. Musashi looked at him in horror. The man approached the boy's fingers with the needle and inserted it just below the nail. The boy started screaming, tears falling to the ground. The man slowly but surely pushed the needle deeper. This was the first needle, and Musashi had no idea that the man had more. The man moved on to the second finger. "This is just the beginning," he chuckled. He inserted the needle below the nail and slowly pushed it in. Inside the shack, the only sounds were the cries of a child and the man's sadistic laughter.

(A few hours later)

(Musashi's POV)

"Why, why, why, why! What did I do to deserve this? I just wanted to see my family." A tear rolled down my cheek. I heard someone approaching the shack. As the sound grew closer, fear gripped me. The monster entered, smiling at me. "What will you do to me today?" I asked, my voice trembling. In his hand, I saw a rod, sharpened at one end.

"Hehehehe, princess, today you will become a woman," he said. I looked at him in horror, dreading what would happen next. But before he could do anything, chaos erupted outside. The man lost his smile. "Wait here, princess. There's some commotion outside, so we'll get back to this later." The monster left the cabin, and I waited, terrified that he would return and the pain would start anew.

I waited for a while, but the commotion outside didn't subside. Then someone burst into the shack. It was the monster, covered in blood and looking terrified. He glanced at me for a moment, then turned back to where he came from. Slowly, a tall man with long, messy black hair, a rugged face, and a crazed smile entered. I noticed he had a toddler with pink hair on his back. The only emotion running through my mind was fear. As I saw the man, something told me to run. I was frozen in place, unable to move a finger.

"What do you want? I'll give you anything; I don't want to fight you," the monster said, his voice shaking. The man looked at the monster and said, "I've heard you're the strongest around here, so let's fight." The man lunged at the monster, and I couldn't react. I only saw the monster impaled on the man's katana. "Hmmp, weak," the man muttered, turning around and starting to walk away. I lay there, waiting in fear for what would come next. But nothing happened. After five minutes of trembling, I looked at the dead monster.

I slowly began crawling towards the monster's body, attempting to cut the rope binding me. After half a minute of friction against the weapon, I was finally untied. Slowly, I rose from the ground. With each step, I felt how weak I was. Step by step, I approached the door. As I reached it, I looked outside.

My eyes widened, and I started vomiting. What I saw was a bloody festival. Everywhere I looked, there was blood and lifeless bodies. I didn't know what to do. I dashed out of the shack, taking slow steps to distance myself from all those bodies. After a few minutes, I realized who the man was. He looked slightly different, but that didn't stop me from recognizing the man who saved my life.

Under my breath, I whispered his name. "Zaraki Kenpachi."
