Chapter 7:Danger

Another great day on Claude kingdom and today it's a holiday for Claude Academy. Ray seems got nothing to do in his holiday.

He always helping his father on their garden and never once play or enjoy with his friends. His father even told him to play and enjoy in the outside world.

But he always refuse, because he doesn't have any friends. Same as for today he's helping his father again.

"Son let's take break" he nod and sit beside his father, "son why don't you enjoy your holiday today? "it's okay father, I'm used to this haha."

His father seems worried because he only goes outside when the academy is on, they both indulge in silent.

But then someone knocked the door, his father then open the door to see who's come, "hey uncle is Ray in home today?" "are you guys a friends of Ray?" "ops how rude yes we are his friends."

His father can't believe that his son has made a friends he even shed a little tears "wait here i will call him" he rushed to told Ray that his friends are coming to fetch him.

"Ray your friends has wait outside come and see them" Ray's eye brow furrowed and ask his father "huh? wait you're not dreaming right?"

his father suddenly burst laughing after Ray ask him a silly question, without any further time to waste Ray agreed to come and see who's coming to meet him.

"hey slowpoke late again?" his mouth opened, he cant believe that it was Ryo and Zed "huh you two what's the matter?" " we came here to pick you up because you're always late" they two then laugh.

"Son go enjoy your holiday don't mind me" without any hesitation Ray excuse himself and goes with his friends.

Ray seems enjoying it, he never felt like this before so this is the most joyous day in his life or not. Something is coming towards him but he didn't know anything.

So Zed suggest them to buy some food, but it seems Ray forgot to bring his money "um guys I think I forgot my money" but it doesn't bother them and they willingly lend him some money.

Once again Ray feel special, not only he got a new friends but also a caring and loving one. "So let's watch some magic show next" Zed reccomend them and they both agreed to it.

So magic basically performed by human kin, because human are blessed with a large mana but the downside of it is they can only attack from the range. They're weak on close combat.

But elf also weak at the close combat, so elf and human must support each other to take down a monster. But no elf and human are dare to team up together to go on adventure.

They need at least 5 member to team up, against monster. "wiuw that was great! I hope I can aquire that magic" Zed excited after watching the magic show.

After that they go to the they go to watch some duel that happen on the arena of the strongest. On this arena every kin can duel each other to prove that they're the strongest.

Ray seems interested in this arena he's so eager to watch some fight on the arena, Zed and Ryo agreed with Ray. It seems they're lucky because today match is the strongest fighter on the arena vs the runner up on the arena.

The strongest fighter is from the barbarian kin and his name is Rak, he manage to win every single fight and never lose once. But today the challenger is from the werewolf kin.

He lose once to Rak and want a revenge, "everyone today is your lucky day because you gonna witness a fight between the champion of this arena and the runner up from this arena."

"Ryo did you know him he's from your kin you know" the question suddenly pop up on Ray's mind, but Ryo seems don't want to answer Ray's question. He only focused on the match, "hey cheer up mate, Ray is asking you some question there" Zed seems concerned about Ryo sudden change in attitude.

"So let the match begin!" the crowds cheer up, meanwhile the contestants seems calm and can explode at any moment the air on the arena suddenly changed.

All the crowds suddenly become silent and some even got a goosebumps, suddenly the silent break after the two contestants start to exchange blow. Rak with his great axe and brook with his sharp fangs and claws.

They both carefully strike their opponent because they must not give their opponent an opening. After a while Rak finally land some blows after that blows he keep pushing brook until brook is trapped.

But Rak has made a mistake he's overconfident and didn't realise that a trapped wolf is strong than a tiger.

He got stab on his guts and fall, he didn't see that coming just like a lightning he fall and lost consciousness but it didn't end there Brook still not done until he kill his opponent.

He draws out his claws and stare in his opponent with a malicious intent "stop Brook the match has end!" even the announcer try to stop him but he won't stop.

Just when he try to stabbed Rak a figure appeared and kick him, the figure is Ray he entered the ring just to stop brook from killing Rak "who the hell are you kid!?" "you can stop now you've already won Mr werewolf."

The crowds seems confused, they didn't know who is the figure that suddenly appeared on the arena, "Mr werewolf you like challenge right, then wait for me I will defeat you but not now" "you got some balls there kid alright I take this kick as a challenge from you."

After the match end it seems that Ryo has back to his sense "Ray sorry about earlier" "haha nah it's find so where to go next Mr guide please lead us the way" they both then burst laughing.

Zed can only smile as a sign of relieve that Ryo has back on his sense, he want to know about the werewolf but now it's not a right time to ask a question so he continue to guide them to the place where he stay before he enroll on the academy.

It's not too far from the arena so they only take a few minute to reach the place. "welcome to my tree house guys" Ray and Ryo jaw dropped because they didn't know Zed is good at building a tree house.

"So did you build alone this alone Zed?" Ray still in shocked "did you guys didn't believe me?" "haha we are joking Zed but to be honest it's great."

His tree house located in the forest of Claude kingdom, far from the main city because this place used to be Zed hideout when he got kicked from his family.

They cleaned the tree house cut all the vines in just 40 minutes and they're done. They even have food that they bought at the shop earlier, while enjoying their food a bloodlust emerge from the bushes.

"HAHAHA found you so today is my lucky day"
