3 Years Later

A teen Piccolo rushed at Kalan, with a flash, Kalan appeared behind Piccolo and kicked his butt, sending him face first down the ground.

"Ouch!" Piccolo hurriedly got up and kicked at Kalan.

"Come on. You can do better than that." Kalan's tail grabbed Piccolo's leg and slammed his head to the ground a few times.

"Take this!" Piccolo turned around and sent a mouth beam at Kalan.

"Ha!" Kalan's Kiai reflected the mouth beam back into Piccolo's mouth.

*Boom* the beam flew inside Piccolo's mouth and exploded, charring the inside black, black smoke rose from his mouth. Piccolo lied on the ground in a daze.

"Don't you know how vulnerable the mouth is? One wrong hit and your head will explode like a watermelon. Why would you keep your mouth wide open for your opponent to exploit?" Kalan rebuked.

*Bzzt* *Zap* Kalan sent a lightning arc zapping Piccolo.

"Don't just lie down, even if it hurts, move. Don't expect your enemies to let you slowly recover." Kalan smirked.

"Fuwhahaha! I never knew this teaching style was so enjoyable! I must be a sadist. No wonder Piccolo enjoyed teaching Gohan!" Kalan mused silently.

Far away, in a desolate wasteland, a giant golden great ape roared. His body shone as it shrunk bit by bit, slowly but certainly.

Kalan had successfully condensed his great ape into a humanoid Saiyan a long time ago, the normal condensation did not give him much increase in strength. His great ape body was 50 meter tall, after condensing into a humanoid Saiyan, his strength increased by 250x multiplier. 25x from condensation and 10x from great ape transformation. But the expenditure of stamina was huge, he couldn't keep this form for long, it was similar to Super Saiyan 3's short duration, if Kalan lost focus, or depleted his stamina, the forceful condensation would be released.

Kalan thought his great ape transformation would have 15x multiplier and after condensation it should be 25 x 15 = 375x multiplier, but somehow after transforming into a great ape using his Moon Essence, his great ape only had the strength increased by 10x. Maybe he still needed the full moon to achieve the 15x transformation. But the 15x multiplier was something he got from the Legendary Super Saiyan transformation, it wasn't from the Ancient Saiyan, so it was possible that there would be some differences when he used Moon Essence to transform. The system had given him the data of his transformations, so the numbers had to be correct.

After absorbing the Ancient Saiyan bloodline, Kalan could now transform into a Super Saiyan great ape, but it took him a long time to master it in his great ape form, it was much harder for Kalan to keep himself in Super Saiyan state while transformed into a great ape. Most likely, this was due to the Super Saiyan great ape transformation was from the Ancient Saiyan bloodline's potential, Kalan had learned to dig out the potential from his Saiyan bloodline and Legendary Super Saiyan bloodline long ago. Which gave the Super Saiyan and Legendary Super Saiyan transformation.

Kalan had thought his strength would increase by a lot after transforming into a Super Saiyan in great ape form, but it only increased his strength by 5x. He was already 10x stronger than his base form, the Super Saiyan transformation multiplied his great ape's strength by 5x, so his Super Saiyan great ape was simply 50x. Maybe the Super Saiyan transformation which normally gave 50x multiplier was by drawing out the Saiyan potential. And by transforming into a great ape, the Saiyans had drawn out a part of the potentials already. Which means the Super Saiyan great ape had no meaning unless one was an Ancient Saiyan whose real body was a great ape. Transforming into Super Saiyan while in human shape was much more efficient unless one intends to condense their body into a humanoid Saiyan.

Kalan's body shone as it turned into a humanoid Saiyan, he had shoulder long spiky dark red hair, red furred body and his eye shades were also red. He finally managed to condense his Super Saiyan great ape transformation, it gave him a 1250x multiplier. It was incredible, but the strong strength was bursting out of his control, he didn't manage to stay in this form for more than a few seconds, before his transformation was released. Kalan was slowly growing back into a great ape.

"Shit! Ha...Ha...Ha..." Kalan released his great ape transformation and reverted back to his normal human shape. He was sweating furiously and panting heavily. The few seconds he had condensed his Super Saiyan great ape body into a humanoid Saiyan had practically drained all his stamina.

It was like compressing air into a can, the air will continuously try to push itself out of the can, if the can is too weak, it will burst apart, and the air will return to it's original gaseous and spread out state. But the compressed air was compressed to such a degree the air not only turned liquid, it even turned solid, the force could be imagine after Kalan tried to turn into a humanoid Saiyan after transforming into a Super Saiyan great ape.

Three years had passed in a flash, Kalan had used his clones to take care of minor matters, giving him more time to train. Unfortunately his clones would disappear if he was too far away. But occasionally ,he made some time to make a few trips to space, and after three years, Kalan had finally managed to master his Legendary Super Saiyan transformation! Since he had only been one step away from mastering it, it wasn't unusual for him to succeed. Kalan had spent a lot of time on meditation and tempering his will. It was something that was required in order to control the incredible strength he gained when he transformed.

"*Cough Cough* I was only doing that for fun though... Rather than training, you pretty much learned everything on your own... Or rather, are you a masochist?!" Kalan said quietly in his mind. He had showed 'great care' to Piccolo every single day, the two had gotten used to living together in the wild, sometimes in wastelands, sometimes in wilderness. Kalan often sent his clone to 'have fun' with Piccolo when he was busy training.

It was more of a way for Kalan to lighten his mind after training hard. He needed to take a breather from time to time, but his daily tortures had lightened and cleared his mind, making his training more effective. Of course he would often make fun of Piccolo's stupid moves, after which he improved them.

"How is Goku supposed to kill Piccolo!" Kami mumbled. A bloodshot eyed Kami stared at Piccolo's training.

"Goku! Double your weight! This is still too easy for you!" Kami turned around and shouted at Goku, without waiting for his reply. Kami hurriedly waved his hands and doubled the weight on Goku's clothes.
