Arc 1: War (7)

Soon I went to see my father, when he saw me he didn't wait for me to speak. He didn't want to hear what I had to say.

Instead he told me to follow him because he was going to take him back to our patriarch to talk about something important. He told me to stay calm, soon we arrived in front of the Patriarch's office.

I looked at the Patriarch who looked really old now unlike when I was little. I knew that he was going to die soon, I have already found out what he wants to ask me.

As I had thought, he quickly asked me to become his disciple. However, I refused, he was shocked when I refused but he didn't say anything.

Instead of becoming his disciple, I asked him to have access to all the techniques of the clan. He quickly nodded his head and asked me to follow him.

When I followed him, we arrived in a large room with 5 books in front of us.

The patriarch quickly told me what these books were. I was surprised when he told me what they were.

He told me that these are the secret techniques of the clan, no one in the clan for 100 years has managed to master these techniques.

That's why the clan is becoming more and more degraded. He continued to tell me his story but I didn't pay attention to what he told me anymore.

I concentrated instead on the books on the table. After he finished telling the story of the clan, which was not interesting, he left me alone in the room.

Before he left I told him that I would probably be leaving this room in a long time. He just nodded his head and left without looking back.
