The Strongest Pocket-Monster.

Wishing to be Reincarnated as a Master of Pokemons but instead got reincarnated as one, follow the life of Alex turned into a blissful tragedy to 'read' how he Adapts and Overcomes the Challenges posed by Legends themselves in his path. — A newbie as a author and I don't really know much about Pokemon world in detail, so excuse me if I make some mistakes. My English should be readable. At least, I won't gender-bend my characters by each paragraph, that I can assure. To be honest, I am writing this because I have spare time and a idea to what I would be writing, so there might be some cases where I miss the regular updates, or even, drop this story if readers don't like it. I mean, what would be the purpose to continue when nobody wants to read this, right? Just write "Drop" in the comment section to let me know.

Whatever the World be, there is Drama everywhere.

After spending the night at Pokemon centre, Scarlet and Alex were back on their journey and straight onwards to their next Gym without wasting any time on unnecessary detours.

Though, they would have to make a stop at the Cave that Alex wanted to visit.

Scarlet was well aware that currently she didn't stand a chance to win against Cerulean Gym. Primeape was strong, sure, but he wouldn't be able to do anything in a water terrain. Oddish can disable her enemies, but the water would wash away any status impact from her attacks.

Scarlet's best shot at winning was to catch a Electric-Type Pokemon, which Alex had promised to help her catch one once they were done with his challenge.

"So, where is this cave?" Scarlet asked as she looked around the empty fields surrounded by mountains, "Is there even a entrance to the cave that you're leading us to?"

"Actually, no." Alex wryly shook his head, "I had just heard that the Onix Territory is on this side, away from the Mt. Moon Cave entrance."

"But this is a dead end!" Scarlet complained as she felt like they were wasting time, "It's not like you'll just punch a hole in that mountain.. And a Onix head popped out from there?"

"See?" Alex smugly wiped the dust off his Knuckles after that solid "Mega Punch". "I can just punch my way through things. And look what I've found?" He grabbed the Onix's horn on his head and pulled him outside of the Hole.

"I-Intruder, what are you doing?" The Onix grumbled in pain due to Alex's grip on his horn. He was intimidated by the Charmeleon that actually stood taller than him in size. He was still young, but Onixes are supposed to be bigger than a Charmeleon, right?

"Where's the entrance?" Alex questioned sternly by furrowing his brows, "I want to meet the Queen of this territory."

"Y-You want to meet mother?" The Onix was stupefied, "That insane bitch will kill you! Don't you know that there's a civil war going on between the Queen and my elder sister?"

"How am I supposed to know that?" Alex frowned in confusion, "And you haven't answered my question yet."

"No, heed my warnings." The Onix insisted, "That Human might die if any other Onix finds her here. We're very paranoid of Trainers who come this way to catch us all the time."

"Ah, don't worry about her." Alex was surprised to see that the Onix was worried about them. He saw him in a new light now, "Tell me more about the feud between your Mother and Sister."

"It's simple, my Sister wants to dethrone my mother and become the next Queen." The Onix innocently answered.

"Then what about your father?" Scarlet asked as she heard the conversation and stepped in front, beside Alex.

"Ah, Male Onixes are not allowed to rule. It's usually the Females who have the most power in our tribe, though its not a practical thing." Onix answered but then he was baffled at the realisation, "How did you understand me, Human?!"

"Well, basically it means that Male Onixes are wimps even if they can be stronger than thier Female partners." Alex explained in simple words.

"Yeah.. Something like that, I guess?" The Onix nervously responded in agreement, "Are you really going to challenge mother?"

"Depends on who is stronger, your mother or your sister? I am okay with both." Alex told him with a casual shrug.

Just then, there was a Earthquake in the whole impact as if dozens of Onix were using "Magnitude" at the same time.

"Oh, no, it seems like they are at War again!" The Onix said worriedly as he looked back inside the tunnel of cave.

"Where's the entrance?" Alex asked.

"There's no entrance, there's only one way inside and that connects to the mountain slope at the Cerulean City." The Onix explained, "Though, you can use this Hole you created to pass by. Some Onixes will come and fix this later as we really don't want to be discovered by the Humans so easily."

"Hm." Alex nodded and looked back at Scarlet, "You coming?"

"I don't want to.." Scarlet mumbled in fear from that Earthquake earlier, but then she suddenly sighed by dropping her head, "I can't leave you alone. God knows what you'll do without me."

"Excuse me?" Alex raised an challenging eyebrow as they went inside the tunnel of the Cave.

"Be careful." The Onix said as they came inside and he used "Rock Throw" to seal the Hole temporarily for now, "Follow me, I know where they must be."

"Hop on." Alex crouched in front of Scarlet with his back facing her.

Scarlet had stars in her eyes as she saw this gesture, "Its the first time I would be riding on you! I am so happy!" she cheered loudly and hopped on his back, "Its okay if I hold your neck, right?"

"You're not strong enough to strangle me, anyways." Alex snorted in response.

"Ssh. Be quiet, I don't want to get in trouble for letting you both inside." The Onix said and starting moving forwards, "This way."

"Why do I feel that he's the rebellious kind in all of his siblings?" Scarlet whispered to Alex.

"I think it's because he must be ignored by his family due to his young age." Alex answered with a low growl, "The Rebellious kids always rebel and do unnecessary things to get their parents attention."

"Hm." Scarlet nodded in agreement.

"I can hear you, by the way." The Onix said nervously by turning his head at them.

Once they had reached the end of tunnel, they came to a open field inside the Cave that was supported by many pillars on side. Though, what terrified Scarlet in this scene were the Dozens of Onixes lined up and facing one another in two groups.

Alex noticed that there were two particular Onixes that stood out from the rest. One was a old looking Gigantic Onix, while another one was more in her prime stage with a powerful aura. Both of them were formidably strong in their own rights.

"You are not mature enough to rule this territory yet!" The elder Onix, also the Queen and mother shouted at the opposite group, "Don't you understand the responsibility that comes with this designation? Being strong isn't everything to be a ruler!"

"I think I am mature enough, Mother!" The Sister Onix argued back with a loud roar, "I know all the responsibilities of a Queen and am confident to be the next ruler of this cave!"

"You don't understand crap! You're just-"

"Sorry to interrupt-" Alex interjected as he walked into the field from the tunnel and grabbed their attention, "-But I am short on time, can you tell me which one of you both is stronger?"

"It's me!" The Daughter Onix roared in response. But much to her surprise, her mother was quiet all of a sudden.

"Are we getting invaded, Lord Alex?" The Queen suddenly stood taller with a intimidating glare, "I want a reasonable answer for why the ruler of Viridian Forest is here to specifically visit the Onix Cave."

"Ruler of Viridian Forest?" All the Onixes were stupefied at this news and fearfully starred at Alex, but were also ready for a fight if this was a declaration of war.

"But first of all, who let you in?" The Queen questioned and noticed her youngest spawn hiding in the tunnel, "What is the meaning of this, youngest?!"

"M-Mother.. I.." The nervous Onix came out of the tunnel and revealed himself to them, "I didn't know who he was, he just said that he was here to meet you. I asked him to leave, but-"

"You're banished." The Mother said mercilessly by using her position of the Queen, "Don't ever show your face to me again, you have betrayed us, your own family."

"But no, Mother, listen to me!" The Onix pleaded in a guilty tone, "They would've-"

"Enough, you brat." His sister was the one who stopped him this time, "You're the most hopeless Male I've seen in this Cave. At least you could've learnt something from the second and joined me in this revolution, like he is supporting me right now."

"I'll never go against Mother!" The Onix roared emotionally, "What you're doing is wrong, both of you!"

"So you're going against the rules, huh?" The Sister Onix snorted with a disgusted look, "You're pathetic. At least I agree with Mother to Banish you from this cave."

"Enough." Alex stepped ahead and glared at the foul mouthed Bitch, "How could you ridicule your own family to this extent? Do you have no dignity or shame?"

"Oh, I have those qualities, that's why I look down on him and am the perfect candidate to be the next Queen." The Onix answered challengingly and glared at Alex by coming in front of him, "But who the hell do you think you are to meddle in our business?"

"Well, I was here for a friendly challenge.." Alex picked up Scarlet and dropped her down from his back, "But it seems like the plans have changed." He stood tall and came face to face with the Onix and glared at her.

"You.." The Onix raged at his Attitude and went ahead to bite his neck.

"No, stop! Don't provoke him!" The Queen shouted to stop them from fighting, but she was too late.

Alex "Blazed" his entire Body and gruesomely slammed the Onix's head on the ground. Without giving her a chance to fight back, he grabbed her tail and did a "Seismic Toss" on her and threw her into a inner wall of the cave.

"No, Lord Alex, stop!" The Queen meddled in, "If you don't, I am sorry to say I won't be responsible for happens next." She threatened by charging her "Iron Tail" while the rest of Onixes were ready to use "Rock Throw" on him.

"Oh, you dare to threaten me?" The "Blaze" turned into a raging firestorm and started burning the Wall caves in molten lava. This had instantly started to effect the majority of Onixes facing him as they weren't able to tolerate the heat inside the cave now.

"No, please stop." The Queen saw this and bowed her head to Alex. From this display of little power, she knew that her kind would be perished even if they were to fight back at this point.

"How can you say that, Mother?! He first intruded inside the cave and now he is threatening us at our own home!" The daughter yelled as rose up from the wall she was slammed into. The attack was impactful, but she was way stronger to get knocked out just by that.

"That's why you're not suitable to be the next ruler of this Cave." Alex disappointedly shook his head, "Look around you. While you say that you want to fight me, your own kind is suffering when I have not even STARTED YET!" He roared loudly in anger and decided to end the what he had started by using his "Blazing Iron Tail" as the finisher.

A huge smothering crater was created on the ground from the slamming impact, on which, the Sister Onix was now laying down knocked out without knowing what had just happened.

'My Daughter is strong.. But this..' The Queen looked at Alex in a fearful complexion, 'This thing is on a whole another league. I cannot bear to enrage him any more than this.' She then saw the perfect excuse to end this, "Lord Alex."

"What? You want to come next? Be my Guest." Alex was ready for her to make a move.

"No, no, I won't dare to!" The Queen Onix vigorously shook her head, "I just wanted to ask, is that Human with you?" The Onix gestured at Scarlet, who was standing far behind Alex to not get caught up in his fight.

"She is, any problem?" Alex raised an provocative eyebrow.

"No, I just thought.." The Queen glanced at her youngest son, "That my son can pay as a good compensation for what my daughter has done here."

"Oh, and what if I want your Daughter instead?" Alex questioned by grabbing the Knocked out Onix's tail.

"N-No, you cannot!" The Queen replied with mixed feelings of helplessness and anger, but she tolerated his obvious provocation, "I don't want to admit, but she's going to be the next Queen someday after me, which is not today. I think, she has learnt from her mistakes of disrespecting you and would be more disciplined from now onwards."

"Mother.. Are you going to give me away just like that?" The Young Onix was in tears for what he was hearing.

"You're banished anyways." The mother answered without looking at him, "Take this as a good lesson. At least you'll be with Lord Alex in his journey."

"What do you say?" Alex looked back at Scarlet and asked.

"What do you think?" Scarlet smiled innocently and showed him that she was already ready with a Pokeball.

'Greedy as always.' Alex snorted with a fond smile and looked at the young Onix next, "I won't force you, but I can guarantee-" He glanced back at the Queen, "That I'll train you to be the Strongest Onix ever if you come with me."

"I don't know.." The young Onix answered nervously.

"Ah, get him, Scarlet, he's a wimp." Alex annoyingly gestured at her with a wave of his hand. He was frustrated of the Onix's unsure attitude.

"I am not a wimp!" The Onix argued back in the last moment before he was caught inside the Pokeball.

"Whatever." Alex then looked back at the Queen, "Now if you'll let us travel through the Cave, please show us the way to Cerulean City."

"That, I will gladly help with." The Queen answered with a nod and immediately started showing him the way. All she wanted was the troublesome creature to leave as soon as possible.

"Oh, wait a second." Alex stopped in their way as something caught his attention.

"What is it, Lexy?" Scarlet asked looking at his face, since she was mounting on him once again.

"This." Alex went to the cave wall where a familiar stone was imbued inside, "This is Moon stone. Can I borrow this permanently?" He asked looking at the Queen.

"They're useless to us." The Queen replied with a roll of her eyes.

"Means you have more." Alex grinned as he understood that the Queen was familiar with these type of Stones.

"Tch, you're tyrant." The Onix Queen grumbled and ordered the Onix soldiers to get what he wanted.

"Well, Tyrant is synonymous to a Dictator, so I guess you're correct." Alex shrugged, "I am sure that there might be some fossils laying around as well."

"We found only two." The Queen ordered another soldier to get them as well, "And don't misunderstand this as my submission to you, its just that the things you demand are useless to us."

"Well, then you're quite helpful." Alex responded with a cheeky grin, "Don't worry, consider this as me owing you one. You can ask me for a favour in future as a payment for the things you're giving me."

"Hm, that's good to hear." The Onix Queen now nodded with a pleased smile. Having a favour in debt from a ruler like lord Alex can be very useful to her kind in future.

Once Scarlet had collected all the materials from the Onixes, which were two more Moon Stones, a Fire Stone, a Dusk Stone and two Fossils of unknown Pokemon that were found in the Cave, the Queen Onix showed them to the exit slope that would lead them straight to the Cerulean City.

"Let's meet again sometime." Alex said his farewell to the Queen as he stared walking down the slopes.

With his huge body and strong legs, it was possible for him to travel down easily this way. Where else, the Onixes needed to crawl down or up, depending on their travels.

"You seem quite happy." Alex stated as he noticed Scarlet giggling on his back.

"Why won't I be happy!? I got the one of the Strongest Rock-Type Pokemon and so many evolution stones!" She cheered joyously and tightly hugged his neck, "Damn you, Lexy! You're like a life Hack for me!"

"That's correct, I guess.." Alex answered with a nervous smile, "By the way, you should ask Professor Oak about the Fossils."

"Yeah, I'll do that from the Pokemon centre, let's head there first." Scarlet answered.

"Aye, Aye, Captain!" Alex roared loudly and continued marching towards the City of water.

I write a few Chapters in advance, and right now, I am feeling sort of troubled in deciding on what pace should I lead this story.

Some suggestions might be helpful.
