"Jii-chan." Naruto called out solemnly as he directly teleported inside the Hokage's office.
Hiruzen flinched at the sudden arrival of Naruto and sighed "What is it? Don't appear suddenly like that, you'll give me a heart attack. I might be a ninja but I'm already old you know? I'm even planning on retiring soon."
Naruto chuckled but continued to ask with a threatening smile "Are you telling people to watch me?"
"Hm? What are you talking about?" Hiruzen asked in confusion
Naruto sighed and replied "I knew it wasn't you, you know me well but who are those masked guys watching over me? You know my Sage Mode senses right?"
Hiruzen thought for a bit and nodded
"So? Who are those guys?"
With a sigh, Hiruzen explained "It's my best friend's subordinates, or the shadow hokage of Konoha and the leader of the organization, Root. Shimura Danzo."
"Hm? What does he want? Why's he watching me?" Naruto replied with a frown.
Hiruzen again sighed as he scratched his head with a pen "Although I'm the hokage. I can't exactly order him around."
"Eh? Why not?" Naruto asked in surprise, Hiruzen was the hokage you know?
Hiruzen put both of his hands on the desk intertwined and with a sigh, he explained "The root was established in order to do the dirty work of the Hokage. I'm sure you know what I mean."
Naruto nodded although the village looked peaceful, behind it was a mountain of corpses in order for it to look like that.
Hiruzen continued "I placed the person I trusted and I know cared about Konoha the most but it turns out that he himself desires the position of the Hokage. When it was big and established…"
Naruto barely understood the story from what Hiruzen was saying and was about to laugh at him and Hiruzen sighed once again "The root that was supposed to be a part of my Anbu, is now an internal enemy to my position."
Naruto then coughed and said "Why don't you just give him to him?"
Hiruzen shook his head and said "I'm sure you already know why he's the person in charge of such a group."
Naruto knowingly said "Ahh… The hokage is supposed to be trusted by the civilians, he doesn't possess that kind of reputation or charm."
Hiruzen nodded "Not only that, Danzo is as old as me. It should be passed down instead of passing it to a withering old man."
Naruto nodded and agreed with what Hiruzen was saying.
Recalling the past, Hiruzen explained "In the past, Shimura Danzo wasn't as obsessed as he is now with being the hokage. Right now, it looks like he has lost track of his original goal."
Naruto nodded as it is really not unusual for one to lose their way when in front of power.
Naruto stood up and said "Well… tell him to stop watching over me. I'll kill all of those root ninjas if they do it again."
Hiruzen sighed but couldn't blame Naruto for his reaction so he could only nod and say "Alright. I'll tell him."
"By the way, where's Zabuza? When's he coming back" Naruto asked
Hiruzen replied "He's going to support the coup in the mist. He'll be gone for quite a while, maybe a year or two."
Naruto's eyes were wide open. "Zabuza agreed to that?"
"That's right, when I said the leader of the coup, he became a bit agitated and asked me whether the mission was about killing her or not. When I said, he's not going to kill but support her, he agreed quite easily."
Naruto chuckled and replied "I see…"
"What do you see?"
"Nothing~" Naruto smiled and said before he disappeared "Well then. I'll be going now."
Swish!
Hiruzen puffed a smoke on his pipe to calm down and thought 'Danzo… You'll pay for it this time if you don't listen to me.'
Naruto teleported home directly and used a Shadow Clone.
This shadow clone possesses ¼ of his chakra, 'Wind Sage Chakra Mode' to be precise. A jounin level ninja that could use sage mode.
Naruto ordered "Find the location of the Root and infiltrate it to monitor Shimura Danzo. Report to me if there's anything, I need to know. Use Sage Wind Chakra to mask your appearance so they can't detect you."
The clone nodded and teleported outside of the house.
"Shimura Danzo… This person might be the one I'm looking for." Naruto murmured with a solemn expression on his face.
He sat down to gather 'Natural Energy' as his Natural Energy has faded a bit. Although he doesn't need to balance it anymore as it's like an armor to his chakra, he wants to always be on his top form.
5 minutes later…
His slightly faded marking of the sage was fully visible again.
"I have to find a way for my body to automatically absorb 'Natural Energy'."

Naruto went out of his room and found Haku cooking, right… It's about dinner time now. "Haku." Naruto called
Sip!
Haku, who was tasting what she was cooking, asked "What is it?"
"Looks like Zabuza didn't tell us about his mission." Naruto nonchalantly said as he sat down on the chair
"Hm? What do you mean?" Haku asked in concern.
"He'll be gone for about a year or two, maybe even more because of that mission."
"Why didn't Zabuza tell us about that?"
"Hm… Probably because you'll ask to come with him. He wants you to live an ordinary… no… a life with me instead of chasing after a bloody path."
Haku nodded as she might indeed try to come with him. She could only now put her trust in Zabuza to return alive. So she asked to clear her confusion "But why would Sandaime-sama want to support the coup in Kiri?"
Naruto shook his head and replied "I'm not sure, but it's probably connected to an alliance. You know that although the hidden villages signed a peace treaty it's all for show. So in return for supporting the coup, Jii-chan wants to use that as leverage for an alliance. Jii-chan has always wished for true peace."
Haku nodded and replied with a smile "Anyway, Zabuza will do fine. Food is ready. Do you want to eat now?"
"Yes please." Naruto also replied with a smile

1 week later…
"Yawn…" Naruto yawned as he watched Haku gathering 'Natural Energy' slowly.
'It looks like Haku doesn't need any more teachings.' Naruto thought with a smile then he saw dark clouds gathering in one place so he tried to detect that place. 'Hm? This is… Kakashi-sensei and Sasuke?'
'Based on the chakra nature I'm feeling, it looks like 'Lightning Chakra'. Sasuke probably invented a jutsu, I'll go and see.' He smirked and thought as he flew into the skies heading in their directions.

Standing atop a tall tower, Sasuke's chakra was connected to the clouds. With Lightning coursing through his arms.
Sasuke breathed heavily as he smirked "Huff… huff… finally… I've succeeded…"
Suddenly, he heard a whistle and heard an excited voice "That looks awesome! Sasuke! That looks strong, wanna test out its strength?"
Sasuke flinched and looked in the direction of the voice and saw Naruto floating beside him "Naruto…?" He asked uncertainty in disbelief.
'Is this Naruto? How can he fly? And what's that drawing in his eyes? Seals?'
Naruto chuckled and replied "Yup! I learned some good jutsu." and looked at the lightning gathering in the skies "It looks like your jutsu won't last longer. Wanna test it out?"
Sasuke didn't even consider it and replied "Sure. [Lightning Style: Kirin!]
The Kirin hidden in the clouds slowly appeared and displayed its majestic appearance.
Roar!!!!!!!!!!
"Oh!! So cool! Now is my turn to show strength!" With that said, Naruto grinned excitedly and clapped his arms. "[Wind Sage Art: Wind Dragon!]"
Slowly, then at an incredible speed, gathered winds from all directions and formed the appearance of a dragon, in order to not lose to the Lightning Kirin in the skies, the Wind Dragon opened its mouth.
Roarrr!!!!!
Sasuke also grinned excitedly at his rivalry with Naruto and thought 'As expected! I can get even stronger with Naruto as my rival!'
With that said he ordered the Kirin to strike "Vanish with roar of thunder… Kirin!"
"Shishishi! Sasuke always knows how to sound cool then… me too. Dance with the winds and blow everything away… Kaze no Ryu!(Wind Dragon)"
(A/N: Sounds better in Japanese so don't nitpick.)
Simultaneously the two beasts made out of elements roared, sending incredible echoes in all directions.
Kakashi who was watching had his eyes wide open and shouted "Stop! If those two collide, it'll destroy the surroundings!"
But… Kakashi was too late.
Boom!
The Lightning Kirin and Wind Dragon clashed, sending a huge shockwave in all directions. Neither one was too strong or too weak so they combined and exploded in the middle of the air.
'That's bad!' Kakashi thought in alert but couldn't do anything about it but to his surprise, everything was held back in a circular orb made out of wind 'This… Wind Chakra?'
He let out a dry laugh and sigh 'Who am I kidding, This is Naruto. He already anticipated the shockwave of the jutsus if they collided.'
