Our crowns

On that day, when I returned without clothing, Mia was not startled that I had created my own mystical form and that she would become one too if she drank 10 drops of my blood. No, instead, she was shocked by the newfound size of my hanging friend.

"That... That's not possible!" she said with a frightened expression.

"Good thing you're in control tonight!"

"Y-yes," she stammered with wide-open eyes, "then... that will be fine!"

I cut my finger and fetched a glass from the still-clean kitchen. There, I dripped my blood into it and handed it to Mia.

"Maybe if you drink this, it will fit better!" I said.

She nodded and drank it in one gulp.

Above us, clouds crackled dangerously with golden flashes. Fortunately, we were in the garden, so the lightning found its way without any problems.

*Boom* the lightning struck Mia with a deafening roar.

Shrouded in lightning, I couldn't see her anymore.

I nervously looked at the golden lightning and, thankfully, saw Mia stride out unharmed as the dissipating lightning revealed her.

"Like an angel!" I murmured.

Even without clothes, I saw the emblem on her left chest. A human head with a golden crown.

"Is it over?" Mia asked me.

I nodded and examined her closely to make sure she had no injuries. In doing so, I noticed that she had grown about 5 to 7 centimeters and now reached to my shoulders.

Her proportions and her decoration, if I may say so, grew with her, so there was no noticeable difference from before.

"Seen enough?" Mia asked me.

"Never!"

She blushed and covered her private areas.

"That's not necessary!" I said somewhat disappointed.

"Yes, it is! I feel like a rabbit targeted by a tiger!" Then she ran away faster than usual, calling out, "But tonight, I am the tiger!"

I smiled and looked forward to tonight.

It was just after noon, and the sun stood high in the sky cushioned by some white fluffy clouds.

I decided to farm materials, emptying all my backpacks in the treasure chamber, which still had plenty of space afterward, and gathered wood.

By the afternoon, I was throwing logs towards the lake, contemplating my next move.

"Assistant?" I asked, "do you know how big this world is?"

"Approximately?"

Too bad! But it didn't matter; I had the feeling it was much larger than I initially thought. Because after all the talk about bloodlines and other universes, I felt quite small.

That's why I had already decided to change my future plans regarding the kingdom. It should be larger than any other before, and with my system, I had the right conditions.

Deciding during tree-throwing that the island I originally planned for the capital would only be for the royal area, I thought that with the castle's continued development, it would be filled.

I would build a wall in the middle of the lake and then the capital around the lake! Since the lake and the island were large, it would probably be a mammoth project.

I looked towards the sky, and through the gray cloud cover, I saw the sun slowly setting. I hurried to store all the logs in front of the castle, so I wouldn't have to hear anything from Mia, and finished before nightfall.

So, with anticipation, I returned to the castle just as the moon rose.

"I'm back!" I shouted through the castle.

No answer!

"Mia?" I called and looked around. Then I saw a note on the wall that read "Find me!" and "P.S. Don't you dare use your mana!"

"Haha, what awaits me?" I laughed and started searching.

*Rain sounds*

I slowly opened my eyes and was awakened by a beauty in my arms. She cuddled so intensely that it woke me up.

I heard her making satisfied noises, like a cat that found a cozy spot.

"Good morning!" I said, smiling.

"Good morning!" she beamed at me.

"Did you sleep well?"

"As well as never before!"

"I'm glad to hear that!" I smiled and put my arms behind my head. I thought about last night and was completely satisfied.

It might not have been as wild as others, but it was very sensual and full of love.

"And what's the plan?" Mia asked me.

"Hmm?" I looked at her questioningly.

"Boy or girl?"

"I really don't care," I answered.

She looked at me critically, sighed once, "I'd like a daughter! With blonde hair like you! That would be totally cute!"

I nodded: "And what would you name her?"

"Lea!"

"Seriously?" I sat up briefly, looked at her askance and fell back into the pillows when she just smiled at me.

"Of course, but wouldn't you like to have a boy? Then you can teach him to fight and stuff."

I shook my head. "Fighting isn't for everyone."

"But..."

We continued talking for a while about our future children and imagined them saying their first words. I had to admit that thinking about it made me smile.

I think it's the right decision. I pondered. Because even though I had a nice grand father, like I call him, in my previous life, I also knew from both lives parents for whom their child was worth nothing.

Even though I had sworn never to be like that, I was afraid.

I was afraid of myself, if it would be innate.

"Leo?" Mia interrupted my thoughts.

"Yes?"

"Do not think to much. You are different!" she said with a hard gaze.

„How do you know?" is asked surprised.

"I just know you!" she said, „ but more importantly, I looked at these blood skills yesterday and really wanted to try this bonding ceremony with you!"

"Right! I completely forgot about that!" I remarked, "Okay, let's activate the crowns simultaneously!"

She nodded excitedly.

"3,... 2,... 1." I counted down and activated the skill.

*Doooooooooooom* the air trembled.

And slowly, a crown manifested on our heads. With Mia, I saw a kind of curved headband with beautiful gold-white embellishments and powerful female lion heads with sparkling eyes.

She radiated a healing aura, and it was as if she distorted the room.

I also noticed a new sensation on my head; I raised my arms and took it off my head.

It was similar to Mia's but larger and had lion heads. It radiated the same feeling as Mia's, and it seemed like the crowns were connected.

"Beautiful!" Mia murmured, "it almost seems like a magical tool is described!"

"Magical tool?" I asked astonished.

She looked at me incredulously, "Haven't you ever heard of it?"

I shook my head, but I could imagine something like that. For example my backpack made from Space Dragon Leather, has a magical ability wich no normal backpack has.

Mia sighed and explained, "I heard that there are forges in the capital of the Sun Empire that can give for example… weapons, a special ability."

"Never heard of it in this world!" I said, but I had almost expected it because in in almost every every fantasy story I read, there are some kind of magical tools or weapons.

She scrutinized me, "I'll believe you for now because it's supposed to be reserved only for kings and I know you lived most of your life in the… forest."

I smiled at her nodding.

"Do you know what abilities the crowns have?" She asked me.

I shook my head, "We'll have to find out for ourselves in the future!"

Haha, I already have some ideas for the skills, but I'm not satisfied yet.

So I wanted to ask you guys and girls, if anyone has a great idea or would like to recommend something. Because it's still in the relatively distant future, where the skills of the crowns will be discovered. So everything is still open :).
