Chapter 82: Facing Danzo (Edited)

Sakumo quickly left the Konoha camp.

When he said he was going out under another identity, naturally, he was referring to the identity of the Captain of the Anbu department, and assembled three teams, or a squad, of Anbus.

Basically all the Anbus he could mobilize at the moment.

Sakumo and the others quickly headed for the area where the ambush was likely to take place, and then slowed down.

"Seeing their wounds, maybe Orochimaru has developed some kind of special Jutsu? But... these wounds remind me of someone," Sakumo returned to the Anbu, with a slightly thoughtful expression, before shaking his head.

It couldn't be that it was Naito, even though he was also on this battlefield, his strength was definitely not up to this level.

He knew Naito's power well, and it had only been a few months.

Well, Orochimaru most likely had.

There was already some certainty in his mind.

Orochimaru was known as one of the most powerful ninja in Konoha, but he secretly had another identity, that of one of the Deputy Captains of the Anbu department!

Asano Senna and Yamanaka Oyuki were about to respond when Naito looked at him and said, "I'm sorry, Danzo-sama, but you have no authority to give us orders directly."

"Eh!?", Danzo's gaze instantly turned stern as he looked at Naito and said in a cold voice, "Is that so?"

"Yes, we are Anbus, directly under Hokage-sama's command, and even Danzo-sama doesn't have the authority to mobilize us, except for Captain Anbu and Hokage-sama," Naito calmly replied to Danzo.

Are you kidding me? If Danzo was going to take the three of them, God knows where he was going to take them!

Danzo snorted coldly, and with a frost-cold tone, said, "If Captain Anbu isn't here, and the Hokage isn't here, leadership temporarily falls to me, are you trying to disobey orders?"

"I need to see an authentication document from Hokage-sama that matches what you said," Naito looked at Danzo with a calm expression.

"How dare you!", Danzo yelled at Naito with a cold look on his face.
