School life (4) - Friends?

Asune walks out of the classroom, and see's Fred, Nina, and Rinfaina, all walking together talking and laughing, he begins to walk towards them, they notice him, and walk the other direction. "Huh?" Asune notices their change in direction, "Hey, Guys!" He shouted down the hall, putting his hand up so they can see him. "Guys..?" He said, his tone now softening.

"Is this what i've come to?" Asune thought, disappointed in himself.

"Validation from mere human children? Is his what Azir, The God of Combat, really is?" He asked himself. "I've grown so comfortable with this body that i've begun to act it's age." Asune thought, turning around and bumping into the boy with long hair,

"Ah, so- Holy crap you're taller than i expected."

The boy with long hair smiles and waves, "So, can you talk?" The boy shakes his head no, "Do you have a name?" The boy thinks, and the notions for a pencil and paper, Asune buy's both items in the shop, and hands them to him, The boy writes down in sloppy hand writing "Venen", "Venen, hm?" Venen nods his head seemingly happy to hear Asune call his name for the first time, "I'll call you ven, is that okay?" Ven nods excitedly

"So.. uh, Do you know where students stay..? I'm lost."

Ven once again nods, and reaches his hand out, "What?" He notions for Asune to grab his hand, "You want me to grab your hand?" Ven nods his head, "Uh... Okay.. WOAH" Ven pulls Asune in close to his chest, "This is weird.." Asune thought, Asune sniffs Ven and thinks, " Surprisingly, he doesn't smell bad. "

Instantly roots began to enclose them "Huh?" Asune thought, "What's going on" Asune and Ven gets enclosed in the roots, and when the roots open they are in front of the student dorms, separated by a white tile road, on the right there's a gate with a sign that says "Boys" and on the left "Girls" Asune says, "Well, that's not the worst way i've transported" dusting himself off.

"Im gonna go, thank you for the.. ride.. i guess? Ah whatever" He said walking off,

"Ah!" Ven exclaims, Ven chases after Asune and grabs his arm, "Huh?" Ven points to himself and points to Asune. "My name?" Asune asks, Ven nods his head, "Well, he's nice enough to give me a ride, i guess ill just give him my worldly name." He thought, "Asune, Asune Jackson. See ya later!" He said walking off waving. Ven stands there waving him off, after a few seconds, 

Ven stops waving, and stares at him, the wind blowing lift his hair ever so slightly.

He turns around and the roots once again begin to surround him and take him. Before the roots close fully he takes on more look at Asune, revealing his purple eye, then the roots disappear with Ven.

The sun begins to fall on the forest, birds are returning to their nest to feed their hatchlings, wolves are coming out to hunt, butterflies float gracefully from one flower to next,

"AAAAAAAGHHHHH!!" Asune yells.

"WHY WON'T IT LET ME WIN!" Asune shouts, Asune says, "This stupid gambling game, it gives such good rewards if you win, all i have to do is spin the wheel and land on a red spot! PLEASE~!" He pleaded, on his knees and hands. "One more time. The Combat God will not be defeated!" He pressed spin and the wheel begins to spin, ticking along, it slows down, and stops on a black spot on the wheel, just before the red spot, causing him to lose, again. "NOOOOO!" He yells out, "Got damn you game.." He said angrily defeated,

"I will win you..one day.." he said.

"Anyway, i guess i should release my mana" He said as he crosses his legs and meditates, and suddenly a large aura fluxes from Asune, "Much better.." He said relieved and relaxed. "What is that terrifying aura.." A mysterious boy says. *Knock* *Knock* *Knock* "Yes?" Asune answers the knock,

"Senior, Could you control that terrifying aura." a voice comes from the other side of the door asks, yawning, "i know you're trying to train, but I'm trying to sleep." The sleepy voice from the other side of the door adds, "Uh.. Yeah.. Sorry." He said, confused. "It's okay, goodnight." "Night..?" He replies. "What, was that about?" Asune thought to himself, for a few seconds. "I guess my aura is much stronger than i thought.. Whelp, time to put it back in"

The sun begins to rise on The Great School of Illinger The birds are singing, the breeze is calm and the students begin to do their daily morning routines. Meanwhile Asune, is already up, jogging around the boys dormitory. "I think this should be good." He checks the systems timer, "15 laps in 40 minutes, i've improved. my level has gone up as well, from 22 to 25, nice." He thought, proud of himself, "I guess i should get ready for the day." Asune returns to his dorm, which is a neat 1 bedroom apartment, with a marble bathroom, and granite kitchen.

"No wonder it's so hard to get in this place.. sigh i can't say this enough, If there's one thing humans know how to do, it's build things."

Asune finishes his morning routines and enters the main hall putting on his school uniforms jacket, and realizes that there is a crowd, "What's going on?" He squeezes through the crowd to the see three marble slabs, "These slabs will tell you what class you're in, the faster you arrived yesterday, the higher class you're in." Asane said. keeping the crowd at bay. "Hm, lets see." [5th place, Asune Jackson.] "Hm, not bad, I guess you're in the elite class like me." Barrett said, "AH! oh, it's just you, Barrett."

"Hi friend!" Barrett said excitedly

"Hey.." Asuna looks around a the crowd, and people avoiding Barrett, "I see you still have that terrifying aura." "What aura?" Barrett asked, confused. "Nothing, don't worry your innocent little mind." "hmm.." Barrett hums, interested. "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?" Someone yells from the crowd, "I WAS ONE OF THE FIRST ONES THERE, HOW DID I NOT GET IN." The crowd parts to reveal an angry Fred. "HOW DID HE GET IN" Fred said pointing to Asune, Asune with Barrett behind him says, "Oh? Are you mad? It's too bad you, didn't make it.." Asune said mockingly. Fred becomes more angry.

"Now now, students, If you want a place in the elite class, all you need to do is request a duel, and whoever wins gets to be in the elite class,

"Well then, i guess we know what you're gonna do.." Asune states.

"I REQUEST A DUEL" Fred shouts
